Hi all hope you have all nearly finished your 8000 piece jigsaws, decorated every square mm of your house and learned to be experts in tuning out the screaming kids and mithering other half. My next project is organising the soup tins into their respective weight divisions - it's cr@p without football innit?
Speaking of which I hope some of the wee teams keep a roof over their head and have an understanding bank manager. Which got me thinking (dangerous I know) that with the difficulties that clubs are currently facing financially, will it now mean that more clubs will live within their means? Will they learn that sp@nking money they can ill afford in the sporting rat race for glory or top league survival is not a legitimate way to run a club prudently with regards to long term survival? I know some of the "smaller" EPL teams have invested fortunes to try and stay there and in the division below it is worse in their endeavour to get there. Might we be seeing the dawn of a new financial model that will be strictly enforced by their Associations? Those Associations that have been asleep at the wheel for years with regards to letting teams ambitions be bigger than their wallets as they didn't want to rock the boat as long as the gravy train stopped at their station every year. Might teams not pay mediocre footballers fortunes just to achieve failure and mediocracy every year? I hope so if it means a levelling in European terms.
That sleeping at the wheel could yet prove catastrophic for some teams and I for one don't want to feel the same nostalgia for Hearts/ Rangers that I currently do for Third Lanark.

Not sure I agree with that kind of censorship - the lad UI is entitled to his say however flawed it may be. If it's bile then fair enough but if it is just the ramblings of an "obsessives" fan then print and let us readers do our own censorship by skipping it. If it is all Rangers guff then send it to "Rangers Posts" where it belongs.

not me I think every nation should be free to rule themselves to live freely with no other country's telling them what to do and robbing there wealth . im against the European union am against the forced union in this country. Scotland Ireland England wales should all be free independent country's who live peacefully side by side and help each other in trade and wealth and enjoy and live by there own culture and that goes for every other nation as well.

I'm getting bored listening to everyone saying if football starts up in April, May or June the league and cup games will be finished in a month or so. Can I mention one little factor that will make this almost impossible, it is the players, who will not have kicked a ball in anger for 2 to 4 months or even longer and there fitness levels will have been decreased for playing football. So the players would need at least 2 to 4 weeks pre-match training to re-commence the season.

It has been reported that most major bookmakers have already paid out on Sevco winning the inaugral Coronvirus Cup.
A spokeperson from Ladbrokes said
"As with the pre season and winter break trophies Sevco are so far in front with the Coronavirus Cup we had to pay out"
Sevco's new PR spokesperson added "It was a "WALK" in the park and we hope to "PARADE" the trophy as soon as possible" he went on "when it comes to "BRAGGING" we are in a class of our own".
