A few things I've got to get off my chest about today . 1 . Dropping Ambrose to the bench to accommodate a starting place for Mulgrew . 2 . We were 2-0 up and we bring on a player who shouldn't even be near the team ( I actually left in disgust and missed the 3rd goal ) . 3 . The non excitement of the players in the team apart from Van Djiyk who looks the only class player in the team . Tell a lie Izzy is still a player . 4 . The linesmen who never had their flag down and the ref who booked Mulgrew and Van Djyick for their first iffy tackles . 5 . Thank goodness for the GB . Excellent today from the first whistle and only sang songs throughout about the mighty Celtic . Brilliant . DH

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ambrose is part of the Central defence that almost never loses a goal, I don't know what some of our supporters expect Virgil tried to dribble one out of defence today that nearly cost us a goal, St Mirren put us under more pressure than we have been under for some time, Ambrose is a very good player, to get better as a team that is what e need. The day of Ross Tokely type centre halfs has passed

Agree0 Disagree0

DH, I particularly enjoyed the whole stadium giving a fine rendition of 'We Love you Celtic, Oh Celtic we Love you'

No matter the player, manager, board, game debates - this is still what it's all about!

I'll never get too old or tire of hearing this.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree, Samaras should be nowhere near the the squad, but the fact he is should`nt mean a minority of Celtic fans booing him onto the park.

Aright he`s been far from consistent this season, but still gave us some great displays in the past, and his behaviour as a Celtic player has been impeccable.

Felt sorry for the big guy, as I feel NL should shoulder the blame for playing him, knowing fans frustations at new and young players not getting enough game time.

all he`s doing is seeing out his contract, more than can be said for Hooper, Wison and their likes.

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree, think that was shocking but sadly its not the first time I have heard it

Agree0 Disagree0

Henrik done it and nobody booed him. I'm Sammy's biggest critic at times but he has been a great servant for the club and deserves to be supported until he leaves. How many players nowadays would stay at a club for 7 years when they have had bigger wages on offer elsewhere? Very few I would say. Get behind the big man any time he pulls on the hoops, only young clueless persons would boo him on this basis

Agree0 Disagree0

Who did sammy knock back to stay at celtic?

Agree0 Disagree0

I was at the game today and was talking to fellow fans about Neil Lennons possible departure and wasnt too surprised that nobody was really that upset . The common feeling was that if he stays that's ok and if he goes that's fair enough and we will get someone else.
I have a feeling that Owen Coyle will be in with a shout if he does leave (hope not). If NL does go I think it would have to be this close season as the MSM would have a field day if he waited till next season with the possible arrival of Sevco.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - I've been saying that since the summer about the timing of him leaving. I said it then and still say I will be surprised if NL is manager next season, and that was before I wanted him to move on. He would be basically committing himself to stay for two seasons at least if he stays. He certainly wouldn't like to be seen as running away from any challenge The Rangers can mount if they're luck continues and they are promoted, although the league should still be an easy walkover for us for the foreseeable future.}

The problem I see Ed is that he won't walk away without another job to go to, and what club would take a chance on him that would also make him fancy the challenge? I think the club will need to get rid of him if we're going to see a change.

Hail Hail

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Somebody will take a chance on him, you know how fickle chairman are down there. I think his words yesterday could have been a very public come and get me plea.}

@1. Your right mate. He won't walk away without getting another post first. Only possibility I can see for lennon is norwich city. can't see hughton being manager much longer.

Agree0 Disagree0

If he goes I hope his move is sucecessful . No hiding my admiration for my fellow country man and his stance against bigots both without and within the club he clearly grew up supporting and playing for .

I don't agree with his personal branding and I certainly don't agree with all of his tactical awareness which in hind sight his spell as manager might have been hoened better under the wing of someone who has been there .

I don't blame NL for where Celtic are now or what they do in the transfer market, it is controlled from above where he stands, easy scrapgoat for the MSM and those fans willing to listen to them within to kick, and to be honest, it seems, quite a few within want to kick him .
Why I ask, the cynic within has all sorts of crazy ideas running around my mind but the one which raises its head more and more is the same one I've witnessed up and down the UK as a whole which is, I want to be Irish but I don't want the baggage .Sorry but if you are first second third or born Irish, take the baggage with your St paddys day craic or at least have the bollix to say what your real motives are instead of snid wee comments about a man, who isn't perfect by any means, but grew up loving the club he is at .

On here you will find the same people attacking NL AS and PM Court whilst he was here (whom I readly admit was not good enough ever to wear a Celtic jersey, not his fault but those whom signed him )but let's not fool ourselves to think that if the team was full of local talent they would be a force to be feared in Europe. Eg Mulgrew, Forrest, Watt, Mc Geouh even Brown what premier side would any of them get reg footie. Take the superstars that have left for a healthy profit, they aren't exactly setting the stage alight either .So maybe the criticism of our manager, who is not perfect by any means, is fuelled by other motives outside football and I see more and more creeping into the Celtic "family" .
Rant over .

Agree0 Disagree0

TTTS, I'm not overly critical and have said Neil Lennon was/is a rookie Manager (cheap option if you want). I don't think he's been awful and for a rookie, he's not done too badly.

I would never take his success in last season Champions League away from him and I enjoyed every minute of it, we'll maybe not Juve lol.

Beating Barcelona 2-1 was one of the best nights at Celtic Park in a long time, it was total magic! Then getting to the last 16 against Spartak when Commons scored the penalty :-)

I do not care where anyone comes from and it certainly doesn't define them as a Manager or player for me.

I would pack out team full of Irish players, or anyone nationality, race or creed - if they were good enough.

Stokes does a job and maybe not the best of seasons but not that bad either. Paddy McCourt - Derry Pele, set up the goal in the Motherwell game when we came from 1-0 down and set us on our way to overturning a 15 point deficit but he deserved first team regular football. As you say, the odd cameo wasn't really good for him.

I hope Neil Lennon goes from strength to strength and does seem willing to learn. Things have gone really stale and maybe if he had a competitor breathing down his neck things would be different but he can't seem to get the players going for Cup games for whatever reason. It gets worse by the season instead of better and the board are not to blame for those defeats.

In Europe we need quality, not against Morton.

Agree0 Disagree0

This is typical of what is wrong with our club. Too many blinkered supporters who can't see past lennon.

He should NEVER have got job in first place. Peter Lawell should have known better, it could of been a repeat episode of john barnes saga.

Stokes, not good enough. No excuses

Paddy McCourt, 1 good game in a blue moon. Lucky to have been a squad player for so long.

Looks like just a case because they are irish you have an emotional attachment to them.

An absolutely ridiculous post with no reasonable argument.

Agree0 Disagree0

Make up you mind mrs e . Is he Going from strength to strength or is his team going stale and unable to motivate them for cups?

Agree0 Disagree0

Jim, I hope if he leaves he goes from strength to strength (sorry if that was not clear) and like TTTS I would wish him all the best. Although why TTTS would think any Celtic fan wouldn't wish him well, I don't know.

He has gone stale at Celtic and instead of showing signs of improvement, he's getting worse.

Is that alright with you and your size 9's Jim?

Agree0 Disagree0

John Barnes? Did he win 3 in a row, which NL will do? That one got past me. 3 in a row dn, up there with WGS, fact .No doubt you'll start ranting about the league been weakened by the death of a team, the same team that would have been an average mid table team if they had played within their limitations.

Why should NL never have been given the post?.
Stokes not good enough for SPL? Utter bollix.

Agree0 Disagree0

There's a lot of stalking going on tonight. I wish him well if he does go also.

Agree0 Disagree0

Here we go again with "neil lennon will win 3 in a row". When lennon took over, it was a certainty ANY manager who was in charge would do at least 3 even john barnes! You are forgetting a major factor here (conveniently) we are the horse in the 1 horse race. Hows lennons domestic cup record by the way?

You having a laugh? Lennon up there with WGS? No chance, absolute nonsense.

You are living in denial if you think it doesn't matter that lennon got 3 in a row in a weakened league, cause it is crucial.

Lennon should never of been given the post as he is a rookie and a club of our stature should not be condoning apprenticeships.

He has never been tactically aware, plays his wee favourites even if they are not in form, squandered millions on dud transfers.

Stokes, what's his SPL goalscoring record for celtic? How many has he scored in europe? there's your answer! He is utter gash and I guarantee you he will be one of the first out the door when we get new manager.

Nothing you have posted is credible. A clear case of blinkers

Agree0 Disagree0

If you disregard the ex spl team rapped up in years of cheating surely then the league has been a 1 horse race of quite a few years .Are the titles win during that time any better than the 1s NL has win .

Only a balloon or someone with a obvious dislike for NL will try and belittle the winning of 3 championships .
How many goals did any of our strikers score in Europe this season .How many players in present squad can you say were of European standard .Why have you singled out stokes who was no worse or no better than the rest of a very average squad?

Seems you have a lot of gripes DN particularly with NL and AS, and I'm blinkered?
If your posts were a little more general in criticism and less targeted they might be considered more creditable and less "blinkered" quoting a favourite word of your own .

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes, they are better title wins. Yes, that team did cheat but still doesn't take away fact WGS was up against stronger competition for the title. If it was a 1 horse race back then, then surely WGS would of got 4 in a row?

Belittle 3 in a row? How is that an achievement when it is set in stone for many years to come (10+ imo) we will win league? Its fans like you that drag club down if your happy just winning league. If lennon was that good of a manager, surely we would do better in cup competitions?

Its not that I dislike NL or AS, they are simply not good enough. Stats don't lie.

Why have I singled out stokes? Well I think 2 goals in 17 games in europe says it all really. I provided that answer seeing as you conveniently forgot to answer my question. Other strikers never got chance to shine as that great manager lennon, insists on playing his favourites.

As I said before, its a clear case of you having an emotional attachment to NL and AS because they are irish. It would be interesting to see your views if they were from another part of the world.

Hello all.Not posted for ages as I was on an extended holiday and just got back yesterday.Bit stunned to see Lennon's quotes re a premiership job this morning. Is this the first real indicator that he would be off asap if the right offer came in? Also, what would be the right offer?

I am afraid Lenny is kidding himself on if he see's himself at a top six EPL side.To be perfectly honest I doubt any side, other than a relegation threatened desperate one, would even consider him.Since taking over at Celtic his overall record is nothing to shout about. There has of course been highs in both results and performance, but he has constantly frustrated us all with some strange selections and team shapes.

The fact is he should have won more than he has. There has been some contentious decisions in cup games, and some dismal displays from the players in others, but the buck stops at the Manager.Has he developed as a coach? I would have to say no.His record in playing young players is poor, although it is good to see young Henderson in today, and tactically he shows no signs of being innovative and free flowing.

Bottom line is this is a risky statement to make.Is he any worse than Sammi now? By making this stupid statement he is now in the firing line. The rules we expect are simple, if you don't want to be here go elsewhere. This includes the Manager.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - Welcome back mate, I hope you had a nice break.}

To be fair to NL, he does have lot of tat to sell ie calendars, hoodies and mugs. Like everything else there is a bigger tat audience down south.

Agree0 Disagree0

@green jhedi I think lennon has a serious ego problem and this recent statement has not done him any favours. Its actually quite funny how deluded statement is

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks ED it was perfect.Seen the results while I was away but need to catch up on the footage over the next few days. With any luck we can wrap this league up in the next week and start the planning for the CL qualifiers.

3-0

Not seen the game on TV but looked like a couple of iffy offside calls.

I did not think we were great today and thought if St Mirren had been a bit sharper in front of goal, we could have been a few down. We still need an out and out penalty box goalscorer, a poacher!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Never seen it myself Mrs E but they mentioned the incidents on the radio so they must have been VERY blatant bad calls.

After Lennons comment regarding his disappointment and surprise that no EPL team has came in for him, it will be interesting to see posts from fans who think the sun shines out his a*se.

Hallelujah! Hopefully we will be seeing the back of him! Clearly touting for a managers job (possibly clever PR tactics to try and replace hughton at norwich if he gets sacked)

And before anyone starts greetin, about what I've posted, why else would a manager come away with a comment like that? Total contradiction to his statement a few weeks ago regarding "having a major rebuilding task ahead of him"

Lets hope lawell gets someone in like Michael laudrup in to replace.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

@DN30 I posted this earlier and agree with all you say apart from the last bit. No way do I want ML near anywhere near celtic as I heard his commitment is no where near good enough for what we need. I'm sure there are a lot better managers out there, whether they are employed or unemployed. There is always someone you don't think of. but, that's the job for the board.

Agree0 Disagree0

What kind of wages was Laudrup on at Swansea?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Off the top of my head I'm sure I read somewhere he was on around £700-750k p.a. There were a lot of problems behind the scenes at Swansea and most of them stemmed from Laudrup himself and some of his ideas and methods. He was sacked after taking an unauthorised personal trip to France and giving players two days off after losing to West Ham, an important game in the relegation battle. There was stories of players boozing on trips, he introduced a ruling that a maximum of 3 Spanish players could sit together at any table in the club canteen when they had lunch and on a training camp to Dubai the only rule set out to the players was the time they had to be on the bus to go to a 2 hour training session, the rest of the time they could do what they wanted, you can imagine what a crowd of wealthy footballers would get up to. Oh and I almost forgot, he refused to take training if it was raining!}

Yes I a fan but not heard his comments if so then I not happy with him then again maybe he was asked a question and gave an honest answer unlike the slug. Also maybe he had enough of the Shiite he has to put up wi up here you can't blame him.

Agree0 Disagree0

@briggs see to be honest, I would be happy to see anyone who has a proven track record and push celtic to be more consistent in europe. i'm not saying last 16 or beyond in CL each season, but at least getting a good run in europa league knock outs.

Ed, apparently he was on £500k per season. I can't remember if it was in paper or internet I seen wages.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I thought I had read he get an improved contract after winning the LC with them, you could be right though I'm not sure if he signed a new deal so maybe just talk of it. I'm using my tablet just now and everything is on my laptop.}

Yes Ed that's the stuff I was talking about? The only thing I didn't know was him refusing to take training in the rain!. WTF IS THAT ALL ABOUT? I hope lennoxtown has indoor facilities if he ever does come! As I said earlier Ed there are good managers out there who would be more than capable of taking us forward, but folk always think of a big name or recently out of work manager to get the job. I could go back farther, but in recent times who would have ever said MON or WGS as celtic managers at the time.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - It should be a prerequisite that the next manager is somebody who will change the style of our play for the better, that and someone who can detach himself from the players and doesn't need to feel one he is still one of the lads. The fans need to get forget the notion that a CFC manager needs to be an ex-player or someone who is 'Celtic minded', I would rather see a Dutch or German coach brought in who will restructure the entire playing ethos around the club, from the kids all the way up to the first team squad, similar to Cruyff at Barcelona in the 80's who only use the present coach's variation of it.}

Wages affordable but not for me with all that going on!

Read a wee bit more about his sacking after what you've said Ed.

No training in the rain would mean no training ever here.

I'm not sure who I would want to replace Neil Lennon, wouldn't mind Roy Keane but the likes of Mick McCarthy or Owen Coyle - not so keen

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I just have a horrible feeling that it will be Coyle.}

22 Mar 2014 20:32:57
What about Malky Mackay or Steve Clarke?
Also do you get the impression Lawwell would also like a club to come in for Lennon as the compensation would go a long way towards paying our next manager.

Agree0 Disagree0

@mrs e I wouldn't take roy keane. I personally think he is on a par with lennon, possibly worse. Talking about owen coyle, I heard a story that jackie charlton suggested his name for Manchester United managers job! Pmsl

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - It was Bobby Charlton and that's true, he was on the shortlist for the Utd job.}

@ed meant bobby lol nearly choked on my cornflakes when I heard that one lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Do you think so DN? I always thought he did alright at Sunderland, maybe not so much Ipswich.

He's been big enough now to be Martin O'Neill's number 2, something I never thought he would do and maybe learn. (I know it not been that long for him to learn anything but still)

I don't think he would have so called favourites or let this unforgivable complacency happen.

There are other plus points that would not have him on par with Lennon ;-)

Owen Coyle, I just dunno at all

Agree0 Disagree0

DN, I was also going to say that I don't know how good Roy Keane would be with developing our youth players or working with the budget at Celtic so in that sense he would be a gamble.

I do think if he thought a player was good enough, regardless of age or experience, he would have no qualms playing them and dropping a first team player.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why Roy keane and not cowen coyle, mrs E?

Agree0 Disagree0

Mrs e, I think keane is a good number 2 but I don't rate him as a manager. I agree with you that he wouldn't play favourites etc, but just feel we really need someone in who has experience of managing in european competitions. We really need this to give us that lift we need in europe.

I just can't understand why lawell won't sanction paying a manager say upto £20k a season on a rolling contract. I genuinely believe that if lawell paid for quality, he would see value for money through better success domestically and extra gate revenue in europe.

I really don't rate coyle either and to be honest if his name is being touted when time comes to replace lennon, it will show lack of ambition and for me it will be time for lawell to go.

Agree0 Disagree0

This might just sound logical in my head but Owen Coyle has been in management for over 10 years and at various different Clubs without setting the heather on fire and his playing career was much the same.

I know great players don't necessarily make great Managers but Roy Keane has played under Sir Alex Ferguson and at the highest level for most of his career. He didn't just play, he was the Captain and the driving force at times.

There is no way on God's green earth Roy Keane would have let a defeat to Morton at home go without consequences for the players involved. I think Owen Coyle would mumble jumble the way Neil Lennon has, making lame excuses. Although, Roy Keane isn't without controversy which doesn't suit at times.

It would be great if we could get a Manager with European experience, maybe even gained as a number 2?

I agree DN and think a decent Manager would get the crowd going again. We need something, a bit of excitement. I don't think any fan expects 5/6-0 every week (when has that ever happened) just attacking football and a decent work rate. Look at Liverpool yesterday, shipped 3 goals but scored 6 and I know I maybe biased, but I think they have played the best football in England this season.

Agree0 Disagree0

NL has said that he wants to sign 5 players in the summer.

Just out of curiosity what players would you like to see head to Celtic park in the summer Ed?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - Here's a few players that I have seen over the last 18/24 months that I think could do a job for CFC. I'll be honest and admit I am not 100% sure on all their contract/wages situations but most of them are out of contract this summer or have one year left on their deal.

GKs. (If as expected Forster leaves.)
----------------------------------------
Robbin Ruiter - FC Utrecht
Thomas Kraft - Herta BSC
Cristian Balgradean - Dinamo Buchareșt
Alex McCartrhy - Reading
Tomas Vaclik - Sparta Prague

Defenders.
---------------------------
Marek Suchy - Basel (on loan from Spartak Moscow)
Ondrej Mazuch - Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk
Marco Capuano - Pescara
Ezequiel Munoz - Palermo
Aaron Taylor-Sinclair - Partick Thistle
Robin Propper - De Graafschap

Midfielders.
---------------------
Aaron Hunt - Werder Bremen
James McClean - Wigan
Nick Powell - Wigan (on loan from Man Utd.)
Davy Propper - Vitesse Arnhem
Mehmet Ekici - Werder Bremen
Tolgay Arslan - SV Hamburg

Attackers/Strikers.
-------------------------------
Philipp Hosiner - Austria Wien
Max Clayton - Crewe
AJ Leitch-Smith - Crewe
Nikola Kalinic - Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk
Stefan Scepovic - Sporting Gijon
Bjorn Bergmann Sigurdarson - Molde (Wolves, this is the player we should have signed from Wolves instead of Griffiths. The only reason he chose Wolves over us in 2012 was because Stale Solbakken was had became their manager, it didn't work out for either of them.)

Might not agree with all your choices but what I do like is the fact that most players come from football clubs you can recognise and compete in good football environments unlike framm, stromgodset and Ashdod. I only want us to sign players this summer that will displace current starting players not challenge them we have enough depth not enough quality in our team.

Agree0 Disagree0

What about all the good sigings u had never heard of before celtic gave them a chance wanyama, ki, larsson, vdv, lubo, boruc, forster to name a few every club has there good bad and terrible signings just because they played for a big named team doesn't mean much pukki been the most recent

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - If that's to me Gordy I don't know what you mean, sorry bud.}

Most of the players you mentioned came from decent football countries when they signed ( holland Germany Poland England Belgium ) you are right Gordy that there are no guarantees but if you spend money on players from a better quality league then hopefully you will get a better player ready to start matches. At the end of the day it all comes down to managers/scouts finding the right players and I don't think we are good enough in this department as for every good one we have there are 3/4 average to poor signings .
Vvd - good
Pukki - poor
Derk - poor
Biton - jury out
Johnson - jury out
Griffiths - poor character
Balde - embarrassing
Moyokolo - embarrassing

Some of the above came from good football backgrounds but if you scout them properly you could easily see why they shouldn't have been signed.

Agree0 Disagree0

Jim 1972 your summarisin of signings is shocking.Vvd correct though better than good, pukki correct, derk give him a chance though injury prone. Johansson is a good signing going by performances so far.Biton looks a class act so far. Griffiths poor character? What that got to do with ability? He a good signing.Yes he would not have been our 1st choice and troublesome. Balde done ok when played give him a chance there is plenty of players we can talk about who took a season to show what they can do, Moyokolo was always going to be cover and been unlucky with injury.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rayman I don't know why you think derk isn't a poor signing he's rarely fit and when he is fit he regularly warms the bench. Biton hasn't strung more than 2/3 games together so how can you seriously rate him highly? Balde after 8 months the most we can expect to see of him 5 minutes . I don't wish bad upon any player and I hope if they stay that they become successful for us. If nl signs 5 players in the summer do you think they will be to replace bench warmers like Biton balde pukki derk who will be starting? I hope not as I want to sign players who will replace the ones who are starting just now pushing them on to the sidelines in order to progress.

Agree0 Disagree0

Would you have Alex Meier on a free Ed? I think he should be Sammi's replacement. Can't stop thinking about Djuricic either and we've had scouts at a few Benfica games.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Meier has signed a new deal with Frankfurt until 2017.}

Was ment for jim ed should have said

Agree0 Disagree0

Ajax had to let a pyhsio go when Derk signed for celtic

Agree0 Disagree0

@jim1972 your analysis of signings is spot on. Obscene the amount of money wasted on duds this season.

If NL is still here next season, personally I would not give him a brass bean to spend. Let him operate with his signings, cause good chance he will sign worse.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ah, ta Ed. I just remembered reading Meier was a free a while back, had a quick check up on transfermarkt but it's obviously wrong. Ok then, back to the drawing board, as a watcher of the Bundesliga and Eredivisie what would you say to Biram Diouf (out for the season and a free in the sumer?) and Lasogga (been mentioned on here a wee bit). Or Graziano Pelle, Jurgen Locadia or Johannsson of AZ (also mentioned on here)?

Not Celtic but yet another shambles of a referring decision, what happens with the Gibbs red card - obviously the wrong player sent off?

Will Ox-Chamberlain be punished instead?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - Gibbs red card will definitely be rescinded but I don't think they can retrospectively punish AOC.}

Just realised I've said 'referring' instead of refereeing! Could have called him worse I suppose

Arsenal are having a shocker.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ox will pick up ban not Gibbs for next match. Getting busy at gb section hail hail

Agree0 Disagree0

Why was it a red card? for stopping an obvious goal kick lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rayman, the goalie might have scored directly from the goal kick, without bouncing, straight in off the underside of the crossbar! lol

Anyway that was a shocking display by the Gooners, not helped by losing a man. But maybe it was just a brilliant Chelski performance too.

I'm just getting ready to leave for the match and reading that Neil Lennon is surprised and disappointed that no English team has made any approach for him.

I have to half agree with him, I'm also disappointed about it but I am not surprised.

His rep down south is lower than a dachshund's ball-sack!

I know a few people from behind the scenes at English Premier League clubs and the last person I spoke to about Lennon said he would be lucky to get a job as a fitness coach at his club.

I'm hoping for a good game today, we should be playing team like St Mirren off the park and winning by 4/5 goals, so I'm going for a 2-0 win.

I have a sneaky suspicion that we could see an improvement to the atmosphere inside the ground today.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Che, you better not be planning on streaking or anything like that!

I'll go for a 5/6-0 demolition

Agree0 Disagree0

Che, every night I do a lap of the rosary praying that a team comes in for him. Just shows you how big his ego is, when he thinks he is good enough to manage in EPL. Also shows he is obviously looking for a move, based on comment

Agree0 Disagree0

For once we are in agreement DN30!
I like Lenny but he appears to make an arse of himself a bit too often.
I remember some time ago he was asked if he could see himself leaving Celtic. He said it would be hard but if he did leave it would only be to go to one of the big EPL clubs!

Shortly heading to game with girls but I see already Forrest, Boerrighter and Sammy are all out. Forrest and the Dutch guy seem to be permanently injured something must be done to find cause of all their injuries.
Positive thing is it frees up 3 places in squad for other players to come in Balde, Pukki, Henderson? hopefully all 3 as we need to see what they can do on a regular basis.
Also myself I want to see the young Icelandic lad Fridjonsen getting some first team game time, apparently he has been playing well and scoring regularly for U19's.

Usually it's players or their agents that tout themselves I can't ever recall a manager ever doing it and a very ordinary manager at that . If a team does decide to employ you down south I would be much obliged if you take your coaching staff and deadwood like Pukki, Boerrigter, Kayal etc and your favourites like Forest, Samaras and Mulgrew with you . If the story is true then I think the club should be looking right now for a suitable replacement and not some Micky Mouse replacement like Coyle who would be a cheap option that would suit our current board to a T . Another thing that is annoying me is his constant reference to a dead team and how he misses them . Time to move on . DH
