Evening ed,

No just saying this cause am celtic fan but I fu#*in love being a celtic fan, was at the game today first half we were lazy with chances and final ball, but second half was superb ano it's only Ross county but the a good side. Good to see wee shoulders back scoring today excellent.

Anyway happy Christmas everyone!

Just looked at the team that played the
juve 4-3 game and compared the players
then too now,
Douglas, Agathe, Balde,
Mjallby, Valgaeren,Thompson, Lennon, Lambert, Moravick, Petta, Sutton, Larsson. against

Forster, Mathews, Ambrose, Wilson, Mulgrew
Brown, Wanyama, Ledley, Forest, Hooper
Samaras,

My pick would be Forster, Mathews, Ambrose
Valgaeren, Mulgrew, Wanyama, Lambert
Moravcik, Forest, Sutton And Larsson

and look at the ages of todays players
This squad can achive great things but
we need a Moravcik and a Sutton. A Larrson
would be the icing on the cake

I think the present team is as good as any of martin oneills and has the potential to be better than any of his, i agree that the playmaker and big targetman physical striker is what is needed to take us to another level,,,,,deep river bhoy

Got to disagree but Forster for Douglas and big Vic for Petta that's your whack.....DH

@3 have to agree lenny bossed the Scottish game during this period the only pity was Lambert was coming to the end of his playing career having been the great servant he was for us. What a pairing in the 3 5 2 we used imo, great memories am sure u will agree. Hail Hail AbS 1888

Agathe was in his peak and Forrest at 21 is already his equal and not just in terms of goals. That is your answer to that one.

Can some one tell me y we dont loan out our players to spl clubs players like bangura ? Coz sending them abroad is na going to do them any good coz they came to celtic scoring goals goes on loan abroad scoring goals send him out on loan to see if hes suited to the spl sure a lot of clubs will want him if they are only payin a small part of his wages

This sounds like a great idea, but if Bangura/Murphy etc scored against us in an important game ie Cup game....would that go down well?

Lets face it if Bangura was good enough he would be in first team squad. He's not, so lets get shot. and in todays market we'd be lucky to get a quarter of what we paid for him.

However much praise to John Park for bringing in these guys.....some gems Wanyama, Hooper, Matthews and Ambrose. But some bad Bangura, Juarez etc.

The guys had problems off the pitch.. more to life than just football. I think the coaching staff would like to give him a chance still.

As for loans surely they would be inelligable to play against the parent team, all it needs is a clause in the loan contract.

I think it's a good idea.
