What a game Ghana superb, the Germans although not at their best still dangerous, only thing that ruined game was listening to that clown Danny Murphy

Watching on Rte 2, I didn't have to listen to Murphy, but when I am watching sports and a commentator annoys me, I switch off the sound .

Justin the turkey would.be a.better bet than Dumphy. Plus he has played as much cl football as him.

What has CL football to do with international football? Can people over a certain age not have a view on an International match .

Dumphy being not quite as bright as Dustin is one of them!.

You are quite right to have your opinions but rather than listen to people that annoy me I press mute .

By the way did you read Dunphy's book
To be honest I used to not like him and stopped listening to him but I got his book as a present and I found it a great read.

Any idea on what's happening with craig Gordon and any other tranfer targets?. I know Ronny is probabaly waiting to get a look at the squad before deciding what positions need strengthening but it's Bn quiet on that front hail hail

Hopefully Ronny's told the board he doesn't want an injury prone GK, pay-per-play deal or not. Our first competitive game is 3 wks tomorrow (or Wednesday) but I doubt we'll have anyone in before the WC ends mid July!

Is anyone else concerned by the lack of news at the minute on potential signings? By now the rags have had us linked to 50 plus players regardless of the World Cup and we usually have 1 or 2 lined up. I know RD is currently reviewing his squad but you would think John Park would be advising him of what he might need.

Surely anyone worth pursuing will be in Brazil? Let RD have a look at the younger players and squad first, we have a lot of dead wood in there.

It will be the same as always wait and see if we qualify for cl then don't spend any way! But Ronnie will want to see the squad in the flesh! We really need a left back.

If like has been stated rd has been cramming videos of games surely he would/could sign any home based player he liked the look of as they wouldn't put a dent in any transfer kitty available before or after cl qualifiers unless of course they played in positions he has others lined up for?

There would be plenty of targets who are not in Brazil . However it will be difficult to satisfy our fans . Some fans want the youth to be given a chance and others want a crowd of players bought in, so no matter what RD does it won't please everyone .

GMS, Robertson (for LB) and that big American/German defender John Anthony Brooks mentioned on the rumors page would do me nicely. ST is not priority as we need to loose some numbers there and there's a wee part of me that thinks this could well be Watt's year. One can dream
