I was looking at our fixture congestion due to Europe and domestic cup games and I don't think I could hand pick the games better myself.
From the LC last 16 tie (Celtic seeded) at the end of November until February, Celtic could be playing 15 games.
If Celtic make the European group stages we will have an away game in this period because there is 2 European games scheduled for the start of December.
In the other 14 games the furthest we could possibly travel in those 2 months is Hamilton.
Celtic will have one European game at home. We will also have 7 home matches in the league in this period. Celtic will probably have a Scottish cup final at Hampden.
We will hopefully have 2 league cup ties which could be at Celtic Park if we get drawn at home.
Celtic will also have away games in the league at Hamilton, Sevco and St. Mirren.
Although we could have 9 games in December, I am confident we will be able to use our squad players and still win due to the amount of home games in that period.
Over those couple of months Sevco visit Ross County, Dundee Utd, St. Johnstone,
Aberdeen, Motherwell and Hibs.
Our Holy Grail is a certainty. 🍀.

buzz mate you need to stop this. the new club will accuse you of conspiracy and match fixing. i can hear the uproar from here. you know there will be a dossier for this. tut tut. hh.

As long as we bring in a class 'keeper and address the other areas we need improvement, we can go on to make even more history.

Not going to be popular but how many attacks breakup with ellynoosi . how often does he just pass into open space to no one then not bother his arse to track back. and although a good player young frimpong has a bad habit of getting caught upfield and the ball played into his space.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

21 Jul 2020 22:45:57
thought Elyouanossi done well going forward but he definitely was lazy in helping out defensively.

21 Jul 2020 22:45:59
Your right not popular.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Jul 2020 01:27:09
Drb he definitely gives the ball away too easily for me, but he's really good going forward and hasn't really had a proper run of games so im hoping he builds his confidence up and gets his basel form back.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Jul 2020 06:20:57
i thought elyounossi had some faults in the match to. ntcham for me played really well he got stuck in.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Jul 2020 09:33:02
Elyounoussi is Lazy off the ball and not very intelligent on it. Has pace and power which will get him by in Scotland step up and he's found out. That's the reason we have him on loan for 2 season's.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Jul 2020 10:10:41
A lot of possession was surrenders on both flanks although wee Frimpong does try to recover; but he is not a defender and we need a fully fit El Hamed (or back-up) to protect him.

Agree1 Disagree0

22 Jul 2020 11:33:20
Just saying but Maybe the problem with Moi giving the ball away is that he anticipates that a player will make a run into the space where he is passing the ball.
It could be that the other players aren't intelligent enough to read the game.
I'm sure it will all come together as he was outstanding in the games he played last season.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Jul 2020 18:58:29
JonBhoy, I don’t think it is not necessary players lacking in intelligence is the cause of Celtic attacks involving Moi, breaking down, it’s more a matter of needing more play time together so that they can get better understanding of what is required off each player on and off the ball in attack and defence.

Neymar is a total fud. Anthony Ralston should have punched his **** in. I'd have paid his fine masel. Quality disnae hide nae class-Larsson had both. ☘️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇮🇪.

Not as big a pumpin as I thought it might be 😟 Played some good stuff in parts but PSG play in a totally different level which we knew. What's their forward line supposedly worth something like 600 million. Ach well we took the smallest pumpin from all PSG's pre season friendlies 🤣.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

21 Jul 2020 22:48:47
Bang on Stevie I was expecting a lot more. Take a away the goals which separate the big boys from the rest I thought we played well. Turn of a screw bang bang they score. Bit why play sh**e and learn nothing better to play the best and learn.

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jul 2020 19:58:20
Ntcham was our MOTM for me. Didn't do a lot wrong. Some solid performances there. Frimpong and Moi both had really good games too as well as Biton, Jullien and Ajer. Even in a friendly Neymar is still a classless wee rat.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

21 Jul 2020 20:27:24
Frimpong your having a laugh he was shocking defensively.
Moi though good going forward at times was lazy tracking back leaving taylor ( who had a good game) up against 2 quite often.

Agree1 Disagree0

21 Jul 2020 20:37:35
As most people know, that showed we need a new keeper prob a decent centre back with pace as well.
They are a ruthless team with loads of pace, We aren’t going to play anyone as good as that unless we get in the champions league. Christie’s touch got found out a bit today as well when he steps up to a high level.
I thought Taylor done ok but frimpong looked like he could play for them . Neymar is a great player but what a **** bag.

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jul 2020 21:19:58
For me wee frimpong will never be a defender in a million years. Get him up the park where he can do damage.

Agree1 Disagree0

21 Jul 2020 22:15:43
You could hear Taylor giving the team a rocket as he was hung out a few times 🤣 Frimpong only young but he's better going forward than defending could always be back up RB if Elhamed is injured which is likely and back up Forrest too. No shame in losing to them Bain didn't help and the deflected cross and deflected shot was lucky too had ti be that walloped that got it. Even cupped his ear too 🙄.

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jul 2020 22:48:27
I think wee frimpong would be more dangerous and exciting to watch than paddy roberts.
Taylor looks like a different player. He looks much more confident as if he has gotten over the size of the club he is at.

He always puts in a shift and gives his all too Kev which is all you can ask for anyone that pulls on the hoops.

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jul 2020 23:31:33
Welshy there were some real positives over the 3 games but the thing we really should learn from tonight is that we need to find away to play ntcham week in week out.

Agree1 Disagree0

22 Jul 2020 06:25:44
the thing with ntcham kev is tonight he played really well and got stuck in then other games he looks non interested. he could have been trying to put himself in the shop window with the match last night but other than that he had a great game.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Jul 2020 08:17:34
Frimpong is the only other second choice right back when elhamed does not play.
When frimpong went right wing and actually took on players that's here his talent lies. As a right back not good. But it's all we have in that position. Why was elhamed not on hope he's not injured.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Jul 2020 11:42:01
Bruised foot FG.
United that's nonsense. The guy has just got a laid back style. Same crap use to be said about Jarošík. When we went on the run after the break ntcham was one of the main reasons why. Lennon dropping him for the game against the mob was one of the reasons we lost that game.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Jul 2020 17:18:00
listen i think ntcham is a great player. he did not have a laid back style last night and that's what i expect from every time he pulls the hoops on don't pick and choose if you will be laid back or get stuck in.

21 Jul 2020 19:02:12
It'll be three defeats outa three in France but we are playing against players light-years ahead of our domestic opponents, so there is a reverse psychology angle? Right? Think I preferred the tours of Eire in the good old days, when supporters could get rat-arsed together and watch us scoring for fun.
That Nae-Mare is a wee ratbag btw. Mon Celts win the 2nd hauf.

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jul 2020 19:13:27
We drew with nice mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jul 2020 19:25:58
Well the games have well and truly been an eye opener, especially this game, I hate seeing us play games with no high press or intensity, letting these clubs dictate games is sound destroying, I mean how often do you get to play against the top teams in Europe? Not often exactly so why not put everything into it, ntcham looks like he walks around the pitch with a fag in one hand and a bottle of bucky in the other, lazy lazy player.
Route one football straight to opposition and all track back like they've got all day to catch them.
As everyone on here keeps saying though, meaningless friendlies apparently.

21 Jul 2020 19:58:09

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jul 2020 20:07:46
Thought Ntcham was good. I know it was only a friendly but sick sick sick of losing early goals. Some players just seem to forget how to pass a ball against quality players. It's like watching the same game on repeat.

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jul 2020 21:51:58
Campsie I'm just fed up of players playing half heartedly.
And also our tactical awareness is terrible at times.
I would like to know what type of defensive work they do in training, because what ever they regime is it ain't working at all.
Let's hope things brighten up but I smell a very long difficult season ahead.

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jul 2020 13:51:50
Another belter from the suits wee Jonny is allowed to play against us in semi even tho he helped us get there . nope me neither.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

21 Jul 2020 14:37:49
Why should we be worried. We obviously felt he was surplus to requirements and not good enough to play for us.

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jul 2020 15:22:48
Rules maybe and he's caused us probs in the past but mostly rules!

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jul 2020 17:26:34
I think its quite right that Hayes can play. He had the chance to win a medal taken away from him by these circumstances. He shouldn't be robbed of that chance.

Agree1 Disagree0

21 Jul 2020 19:53:18
Rules are rules kev what happened affected everyone not just hayes.

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jul 2020 20:54:35
I think its right he is allowed to play. He would have had a chance at medal if the situation hadn't occurred.
Why should he be robbed of that?

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jul 2020 23:04:49
Surely it works both ways though any players we sign now would be allowed to play so we're winning in my opinion.

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jul 2020 11:28:58
The dates for the Quadtreble have been released.
The Semi Final against Aberdeen will be played on the weekend of Oct 31st or Nov 1st.
The 2020 Scottish cup final will take place on Sunday Dec 20th.
Celtic will now probably visit Sevco away on Jan 2nd having played 2 league games less.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

21 Jul 2020 12:04:14
Squad depth will be vital this year. We can't rely on the same players week in week out like we have before. If we are to win league cup again it should really be with fringe players. No reason they can't go out and beat anything that's put in front of them. I can't see sevco getting as lucky with the draw in EL qualifiers again so over the season we could end up with at least an extra 8-10 games.

Agree2 Disagree0

21 Jul 2020 12:39:00
Good point about the extra European games because those extra games definitely caught up with Sevco in the last couple of seasons.
Celtic could have at least one extra qualifier to play more than Sevco this season.
Add in at least another 8 European matches from the group games.
Potentially 2 extra Scottish cup games from 2020.
Add more cup games if we go further in next seasons cup competitions.
And also Celtic have more International players who will be playing catch up with International games.
Celtic need to bolster our squad because our players could potentially be playing at least another 15 games more than the Sevco players which could become a leveller.

Agree1 Disagree0

21 Jul 2020 12:44:26
Can I add
The season before Sevco got into the European group stages,
Celtic played 14 games more that season.
If something similar happened this season, it could be game on.

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jul 2020 12:55:57
I agree, as well as keeping our top players, we will have to have quality cover for ALL positions - especially if we qualify for Europe - with the added games all through the Autumn.
The lack of supporters/ atmosphere does worry me a wee bit, because we have always had such a bond and inspiration for as long as I remember so the quicker we get people back (safely) into stadia - the better.

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jul 2020 13:49:45
Hopefully an early Xmas pressie.

Agree1 Disagree0

21 Jul 2020 05:30:31
Is there anything in league rules stopping sleeve sponsor.
Also with stadia likely to be closed could clubs not sell half the bottom tier as advertising space especially with the tv coverage.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

21 Jul 2020 11:42:28
Not allowed in the current rules - just one on the front, two on the back, one on the shorts and one on the socks.
