ED why is the rangers rumour page not working good ? no new stuff has been uploaded for hours {Ed007's Note - We have been having some technical problems on all the sites tonight, I can only apologise on behalf of all of us. Things will be back to normal ASAP}

I just thought it had crashed due to all the money "Mr Whyte" was going to spend on an influx of players. Thought it was inundated with posts HAHA........ suckers

well said Paddybhoy your the first Celtic fan to come on here and give credit where credits due regarding wallace i think it was a good bit of business i would rather see 1.5 mil go on wallace than 3 mil on cuellor.

what do you think is going on with kenny miller aparently he has turned down cardif dont know how true this is but if it is the case he might end up being Rangers wild card inclusion for the CL qualifier on tuesday

Every season we ask the same questions about our spending and its never answered we are bankrolled by a multi multi millionaire in dermott desmond he funded robbie keanes wages when we had him on loan we r being treated like mugs again promised big name signings yet we hav 2 pre contracts signed taking gk's on trial payed just under a million for wanyama who looked no bad tbh but come on its a joke the money is there u cand fool the fans think its time they pulled the finger out {Ed007's Note - Welcome to the site, you should try and think of a name or "handle" to use as it lets people enter into discussions/banter with you and gives your posts a bit more credence and individuality. over on my own pages ppl are getting very excited about our signings as far as im concerned the jury is still out im glad we are making signings and the wallace one is a good one the american i dont know but lets be honest where any of you guys excited when kayal or izzy were signed

Tony, i think Rangers have made a great signing in Lee Wallace. He is young, he is strong in the tackle, he has a good engine. can take players on, and can deliver a cross. I am sick that Mowbray never got him when he had the chance. We signed Danny Fox in instead of Wallace, then when we got our money back for Fox, he signed that person Brafheid. I think Wallace could be a future captain of Rangers, that is how highly i rate him. I really think you have got a bargain there tony.

you guys need to make your mind up for weeks you have been slatting rangers for not paying the 3 mil for big carlos an injured player with only 1 year left on his contract and now rangers are being desperate in signing a guy with 1 year on his contract for 1.5 mil ffs guys you cant have it both ways pmsl at this

Big difference is Cuellar is quality (i hope you don't get him). Wallace - average at best. Scotland haven't had a decent left back for years and he still can't grab the place, Papac is miles better

Hi ed, hw u doing?

First apologies for my kn*b of a brother he posted a thing about Cardiff seeing someone, first a part of the manky mob n was trying to noise me up.

Secondly after being at the game last night (just got home) keeper although had very little to do, a few times spilled when he shouldn't have and also tool to long sometimes on the ball for me not worthy of the hoops jersey.

Lastly rumours have surfaced again about Jorge Claros and aldo de negris (excuse the spelling) a hope we get these players if I was to choose it would be de negris looks really good.

I think de Negris would be a great signing but sadly Claros was shot last month in a car jacking incident, I have no idea of his current health situation although the injuries were not life threatening}

you know something guys if Rangers signed Tevez in your eyes he would be over rated if we signed Beckham he would be to old if we signed wiltshire he would be to young no matter who the champions sign in your eyes he will be pi5h i find it very amusing that only a few weeks ago there were numerous post stating that Wallace would be a good signing for Celtic but now he has signed for rangers he is pi5h lol

Afternoon Tony, don't agree mate, if you's signed Tevez I'd actually $hit my pants. Most Celtic fans would do the same. Beckham, soz mate always thought he was over-rated, mega at deadballs but never seen him beat a fullback, including Stephen Carr Wilshere = same as Tevez.

Be honest though, is this buying for the sake of buying? He's prob the only bloke who'd take £6k a wk to sit on your bench, it'll still be a pay-rise to him won't it?

So i take it 1.5m for a sub is good business then tony sounds more like desperation, he wont get a game before either papac or whittaker is constantly injured and brain dead too boot would the cash not have been spent on putting better offers in for some of the other numerous players who have knocked you back or there clubs that knocked you back.

As i said bhoys it will make no diff who we sign some of you guys

you'd think the forces of darkness have just had an offer for messi accepted the way they are going on, wallace hasn't signed yet could well end up like all the others and knocks them back, he is a very ordinary player nothing special, very injury prone and 1.5m for a player in final year of contract, looks like an act of desperation to bid that amount especially with there other bids being 300k and just under the 1m mark for him

Sorry he has now signed, as for being a skinny we 2nd choice left back, he has 5 INT caps (5 More than Wilson I believe) and as TONY states ealier, look back on this site when the Gers first went in for him a few of yous were saying you wouldnt mind him at parkehead... JEALOUSLY OR WHAT, lets see what your team do with cash and signings before you start to down the Gers for buying one of the young Scottish talents about at the moment. At least we are not offering trials out to players like Sunday pub taems do, great Scouting and Prep work there by your management Ehhhh.

cant believe de nigris hasnt been signed yet. he is a goalscorer and more of a target man thats been lacking. £3m now could make us £7-8 in a couple of years

£7? Christ i know times are tough and every penny counts, but i'd be hoping for a larger profit than that :p

I assume you meant £7mil, but bare in mind this guy is 29 years old. He won't really have much of a sell on value at 31/32 years of age.

Not so much a rumour as a commentary on our delightful media. Was checking Google to see what news there might be on signings and the game against Cardiff, when I saw a link to a story in the Telegraph:

"Celtic's new season could be hampered by taxing series of friendlies admits Kris Commons"

When I then went back to the team index in the Telegraph's web site the link to the story says:

"Celtic players exhausted admits Commons"

Have a look for yourself if you don't believe it I've looked and searched but the words exhausted, tired, or slightly weary don't appear anywhere in a quote from Commons, he merely says the list of friendlies and travelling is not ideal. I'd happily concede that, but who twists this into "players exhausted" - presumably some excited online content editor, however I make no judgement as to their motivation for the twisted link.

Morning ED007 I can't believe it on our page I think they want to commit suicide. I just put a message on telling them all to get behind the lads. We are after all starting with probably the same squad size we started with last season. Obviously I wanted to see at least 4 new players in by now but some people just have no patience.

I think he deserves the full transfer window first before we judge. If you were as quick to judge Lennon he would have been out the door by last Christmas as it was the 2nd half of the season the team got stronger.

Billyboy1 {Ed007's Note - It is the lack of transfer activity that is irking them, as I have said McCoist is showing a lot of naivety IMO, just as NL done last summer, talking to the press about players before deals are done or even close to completion}

It bug me as well ED but i'm still gony go to games and get behind Ally because lets be honest he deserves our fans full backing. Whyte does need to show McCoist that he has his backing by bringing in some players.

I've been through it all with CFC with the Fergus McCann take over, before that, and even sometimes during it, there were some black times, can anyone see the comparison between Jock Brown coming into CFC and GS at Rangers? I would bet that Whyte talks more to GS than he does to McCoist and that can't be a good thing}

I can see where your coming from ED I just hope he backs McCoist because the guy is a Rangers legend and I would be gutted for him if things went wrong but lets not talk about footballing matters. How the game last night?

hi Tim hope you are having a good hol and yes i am starting to get a little concerned regarding whats going on at Ibrox as i have stated before im not like the some of the short sighted ppl who use the Rangers and Celtic pages you know the ones who can only see through blue or green tinted specs if something is wrong then its wrong. if Whyte is being a knob then its Ally i feel for because he has been lied to just as much as the fans.

i don't think whyte realises the backlash he will get if he does the dirty on Rangers look what the few moronic rangers fans did to Lennon just for being Celtic Manager, Whyte will have to leave the country.

i would have loved Kenny Miller back but i never could see that one happening even if we matched or beat cardiffs offer for him then we would have lost out on wages as our top wage is now £25k pw and cardiff have offered him £35k per week and kenny looks after kenny and rightly so.

i also stated that with the current squad we have should be able to see of Malmo and the first few games of the season i think we may struggle against your lot but by then the transfer window will be closed and hopefully we will have a few new players in.

put it this way without new faces we can kiss 4 in a row goodbye

I commented a few days back that I thought the league would be over by Xmas.

Admittedly it was mainly to get a reaction but it was also having seen some of the bids Rangers are putting in. It genuinely looks like a cover-up, Shooter doesn't want to part with his cash and Sally will be blamed for not attracting players to the club. Even heard Mark Hateley on radio this morning saying Celtic are looking like favourites looking at the current squads and we've not exactly strengthened dramatically.

I don't even think KM got as far as wages, Gers wouldn't pay £880k for a guarenteed 20 goals, whether he's a person is irrelevant, he will defo score tons in SPL. Less than £1m for 20 goals and Whyte doesn't bite? That's the thing I'd be worried about.

Shaunybhoy {Ed007's Note - Their bid for Miller never really got off the ground, they made a bid, Bursaspor rejected it and that was it. Like you say Shauny, he would have scored goals, that's a cert.}

So no money to spend now for the GETS, ASSets Davis, McG, Whit and Nichola Jellyfish will all be sold next year to bring in money as there is none in the Tin thats why they are on 5yr deals with allocated money for wages at £20K plus bonus per week. Relying on European money is not a certainty when trying to beat a fit Malmo team who are half way through their Season, according to Henrik Larsson or Peter McCloy - out of Europe and probably wont be in the top6. If Jellyfish gets injured then they will toil with no cover. New signing Aggie in the Merchandise Shop looks the best signing :-) Hoops will burn it up this year and come out the traps firing on all cyliners. I Lennon We Trust
