That's why the lads out on loan. Game time, learning his trade in a competitive"Take no prisoners" old style school football. No matter where he ends up he's a talented is.

Went along to Cappielow today for the Morton v Falkirk game and I've got to say that our loan players were pretty impressive. Nesbitt is full of energy and had some great touches and vision. He needs to bulk up a bit and we could have a player there. Lindsay is a grafter and didn't shirk a challenge all afternoon and managed to get the opening goal. Jim Duffy has Morton playing really nice football and I think loaning our youngsters out to them could prove beneficial to both clubs. Falkirk had a few ex SPL players in their ranks but our young lads were head and shoulders above them.

New to this banter site, been reading it for a while now.

We have practically bagged the league, yet send our youngsters away on loan when game time could determine futures, we never quite know how good our youth crop are, i for one would rather give the young ones a chance at this stage and see what prospects we have rather than go unbeaten in the league, how can BR possibly top this season next year if we do go unbeaten, what's your thoughts?

The senior players have worked there butts off to get to this stage, they deserve to see it through, plus we're a relatively young squad anyway at least if the you g ones are out on loan they'll probably play every week

Agree5 Disagree2

21 Jan 2017 16:28:57
I agree the senior players deserve full credit for how well they've played, I just hope we don't become a club that has to buy the league, yes we don't spend huge amounts but in comparison to other clubs in our league we out spend them immensely, and all I keep reading is how good our youth teams are, yet season after season virtually none of the "new generation" succeed and bag a place in our starting 11, KT, JF and CM being the only players really to achieve this in quite a while, I hope it changes in years to come

Agree0 Disagree1

21 Jan 2017 17:30:40
We are so far ahead in Scotland, we should judge our success on how we do in Europe going forward

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jan 2017 17:37:21
It's not about the league. It's about getting the team who will mount the assault on the CL qualifiers ready and bedded in I think for most of them.

Playing every week for Killie will improve him Ajer for us in the summer.

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jan 2017 17:42:52
I all for young players coming thro but only if they good enough.
KT is not in the team cos he is young he is there cos he class and good enough.
Calvin Miller came into the team and did ok but looked to me if he was not ready and I would be surprised if he gets many more chances this season apart from the bench.
We simply cannot promote youth if they not ready it can do more harm than good.

Β£10m for the outstanding and ever consistent KT who has played at the highest level and has the potential to be the best full back Scotland has produced since Danny McGrain and who is attracting attention from the EPL's elite and Β£6m for flash in the pan Barry McKay? Am I feckn missing something? πŸ€

Believable4 Unbelievable5

21 Jan 2017 11:43:16
Jfp88 - no you aren't missing anything. One's a gifted defender, the other is a potential game changer. These type of players always command higher fees. Don't beat yourself up over it you'll make the shortfall up when you sell Commons to Hibs! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

The entire Sevco squad isn't worth Β£6m. We would get that for a fringe player at the moment.

If somebody's daft enough to pay 6 mill then good luck to the boy it's no his fault this is an non argument we all know KTs worth he'll be world class

Agree2 Disagree3

21 Jan 2017 13:18:03
McKay is awful. don't see the hype about him at all. he wouldn't get anywhere near our bench. Sevco could only dream of a player of Common's qualityπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Agree6 Disagree3

21 Jan 2017 15:28:52
If they DID or WOULD get offered that for the full squad King would take them there self not one player they have is worth no where near 1m let alone 6m

21 Jan 2017 15:46:59
the only way sevco will het 6 mill for him is if souness takes over as manager of leipzeg

Agree2 Disagree0

21 Jan 2017 16:05:57
6m for mckay? Lay off the glue he's not worth half that.
It was also my understanding there was never a bid just the daily ranger trying to drum up cash for its favourite club.

Agree1 Disagree0

21 Jan 2017 16:34:46
You are a great at fishing UJ, I'll give you that! Seriously here is the truth. Sevco are in dire need of funds and would bite the hand of any deal for their players just now. B McKay is not a Β£6m rated player, that's fact. No player currently in the Sevco squad has a Β£6m pricetag, no where near it. Your star striker Garner has depreciated now and is not worth the Β£1.8m you paid for him.

Your club is surviving on handouts just to keep the lights on at the big hoose with more cash by way of a soft loans required by the end of the winter just to survive THIS season! You have next to no chance of playing European Football next season as you fall foul of UEFA fair play rules (interesting to see where THAT goes) but in reality, your team is just nowhere near good enough to qualify. Your club is tied up in court cases and expensive as they are, will be the death nell for your club if they lose in court to big Mike (whose wealth really is off the radar) . Your Stadium is crumbling to dust in front of your very eyes, your supporters still sing banned songs by the thousands at home and away, your Chairman is a convicted tax cheat and narrowly avoided prison. Basically, your club is a mess and shows no signs of recovery.

I stood during your cheating years at Celtic Park and followed my team through the lean times. I watched the club I love nearly go bust and still stood at Celtic Park, freezing and miserable watching us lose to so called diddy teams. It was the darkest time of my life football wise. I then watched as Fergus McCann came in with a business lifeline at the last hour, saved our club from oblivion and with our history intact, challenged Rangers for the first time in years. We built a world class stadium, put the club on a sure financial footing, lived within our means and have become a caring, community based football club that helps charities do the good work for the needy. I am very, very proud of my club for that.

So UJ, the summary is what goes around comes around. How could you and your fellow supporters fail to see the long con Murray was playing? 12 million pounds for one player! Where the hell did you think Moonbeams was getting the cash to pay for the big signings? It was a ponzi scheme at the highest level of business banking and it was financial fraud. Sevco will never be able to emulate the good old days of the old Rangers, no financial institution would ever let it happen. Your mouthpiece PR guru is nothing short of a joke, leaking morsels of crap to the journalist beggars who lap up everything that's thrown to them like rabid dogs. Your team is a million miles behind us and it's getting further by the day.

Mind The Gap.

Big Rab-well said brother. I stood there too-karma, what goes around comes around or as you sow so shall you reap (however your beliefs wish to express it) spot on. If they died again tomorrow it wouldn't be a day too soon for me. If I never had to listen to their vile chants again I'd be a happy man and in my view Scotland would be a better place. Don't expect any sense from UJ though-he's either deluded like his fellow supporters or nuts and there's never a logical word spoken or argument made. πŸ€

McKay is a good player but so is my mate Ryan, if I get a twitter rumour to go viral about a 6 mill bit for him then he must be better than KT. Wow!

21 Jan 2017 17:47:27
UJ, I admittedly not seen much of Mckay but yes he looks a good player, tho I would be interested in your opinion/ stats on him as a game changer.

From what I hear he is very inconsistent and from reading your page there were many many of your supporters having a go at him earlier in the season for doing nothing.

So I ask you how many goals has he scored this season and how many assists has he had? As I said not seen him much but from what I have seen he lacks a final ball and doesn't score much. So over to you mate to provide the stats and prove he is a game changer.

I am quite happy for them to limp along like a seriously wounded animal, that simply it would be kinder to put out of its misery. A large proportion of their support being so deluded makes the above very enjoyable. The rangers men, the rangers way? What does that even mean. Prior to the financial doping Aberdeen/ Hearts/ United were all major forces and rangers were good for a cup occasionally. The new club seems to be taking the old clubs place prior to the doping battling for second and trying for a cup run. So success, they have done this. So to demand anything else based on what came after would involve cheating again and spending money they don't have. The penny arcade might drop when next season brings much of the same if they can keep limping along. Although forever deluded the big cup alluded, I doubt it very much.

@bigrab - decent post backed up with facts but:-
In regards FFP, both PSG and City received 12 month suspended for this. Why would Rangers be treated differently? I'm also pretty sure a Serbian team have just been banned but had a few warnings over the last 4 seasons.

As for not qualifying - we're currently second and though we're newπŸ˜‰ to the big league and not 100% sure how it works but as it stands I think we're in Europe?
@rayman99 - I agree, wee Barrie is inconsistent like most wingers are.

As for game changer, well all you need to do is think back to the SF, Rangers are under the cosh, the wee man gets the ball out wide and I'm sure you remember the rest. The point I was making to the OP was that traditionally forward players will command better fees than defenders. I wasn't slating KT who I think is the best young player to come out of Scotland in years.

@jfp88 - always great to see your insightful knowledge brought to the table😴😴😴

Agree0 Disagree1

22 Jan 2017 10:22:49
Uj your club will be treated differently because of what happened 5 years ago doh

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Jan 2017 12:00:55
@UJ-we're all entitled to our opinion. I was simply expressing mine that your club are a festering sore on the side of humanity and that Scotland would be better off from a football perspective as well as socially, culturally and politically if it ceased to be (again) . πŸ€

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Jan 2017 13:59:37
I think you prove our point when you have to think back to a game a year ago to prove your own UJ.

And being second in the league puts you in the qualifiers, not into Europe

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Jan 2017 14:44:25
Now why would you be treated differently UK? Because you haven't done properly accounts since you came into existence and because you are spending more money than you earn like your previous incarnation. Simples

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Jan 2017 19:44:13
@jfp88 - I think you are being naive if you think that Scotland will be a better place just because Rangers don't exist. Some people will still be living in poverty, some people will still vote Tory ( unfortunately ) and some people will still get involved in bigoted / sectarian nonsense. I think you're overplaying the correlation between Rangers and the fantasy Utopia you dream off.
@tompo88 - I picked that match as Celtic are the benchmark.

22 Jan 2017 23:20:57
UJ so you ae calling him a game changer based on 1 game, how long has he been in the team? 2/ 3 years.
If that's your standard you can keep him, tho I know the standard you have been watching u prob think he looks a superstar compared to the rest lol.
