My thoughts on tomorrow and starting 11 prediction.

Zenit were defintely rusty last week and if we play at a high tempo again tomorrow I think they will struggle like last week.

I'd go with a 4-3-2-1 formation. Wingers can drop deep to support full-back but also gives us a good shape to counter.

Sinclair could have came in, given his ability to track back, but McGregor was awesome in the 1st leg, he has better ball retention and I think him and Dembele link up well together.

It's a tough game to approach cause if we don't condede we are through but we all know defence is our main weakness so I hope we don't sit deep and let them come at us.

What's everyone's thoughts on tomorrow nights game?
I think it will be the same starting x 11 as last week. We have to keep it tight for the first 20mins. If we can do this The Zenit Fans may start getting on their own players backs. This could play right into our hands as they start pushing more players up, we can hit them on the break. When we do get a chance, we have to take it.
Still think we'll need to score to get through the tie.
Let's hope The Bhoys do us proud. 🍀🍀.

Totally agree. We've got a bad habit of conceding early in these types of games. I still think we needed a couple more goals last week but if we can stop them scoring til half time we'll give ourselves a great chance. An early goal for us would be perfect.

ED007 what do you make of Zenit giving "4000 free tickets to academy players and their families" in part of ground which was supposed to be closed as a punishment by UEFA
Hardly in the spirit of things is it, simply making sure part of ground not empty.

Dianne's pool hall, is now a Malone's, it's just up from Haymarket station, is not been open long as a Malone's, but think they would have it on.

International Bar used to have good atmosphere but not sure what it is like now. I know the Heriot-Watt supporters bus left from there so you had the boys in before and after matches.

The pool hall is next door to a pub called the spiders web (or at least it was) , now she’s a boozer. Tread carefully if you venture in there.

No the spiders web is now an upmarket gin, wine bar, with a pretentious name, that I can't recall.

Spider's Web used to be a bluenose bar full of lowlifes.

I remember there being some problems between the clientele of that pub and the old Celtic club that used to be at haymarket. Glad to hear that it is no longer there.

@RaW - once had a brilliant night in the Spiders Web at a pre concert Ska night before going to see The Specials at the Corn Exchange. Didn't know it was a Rangers pub - probably how I enjoyed it so much😉.

Sometimes I think Charlie Nicholas gets a hard time on here from fans who moan about bias in the media but want him to only ever say positive things about Celtic. However, having read his European predictions for this week I now realise that he clearly doesn't have a clue what he's talking about. He praised our performance last week as "They showed they do have Plan B in European games when they know they're not going to dominate the ball. " Minimal research would show that we did, in fact, dominate possession - as well as shots on target, shots off target and corners!

Kev I’ve made my feelings about Nicholas perfectly clear! The guy is a first class 🛎 end! He tipped us for defeat in the first game and despite us dominating the game from start to finish and should have won by more he tips us to get beat tomorrow! Think his exact words were more misery for us! Celtic fan my bottom! Guy is a clown!

Nicholas is a clown and has as much incite into football as I do into brain surgery. Actually I take that back, I am more clued up about brain surgery and I know hee-haw.
