as I told you earlier, I have been practicing my, the rangers speak before I take over the running of the biggest, bestest team ever. which by the way, I will have to put off for a week or so, because I spent 15p of the pound I had on sweeties.
you lot may have won the league again, without cheating or lying or boycotting or bullying, but you will laugh on the other side of your faces, when we come back, bigger, and betterer than you. rtid, watp then now forever,
i couldn't be one of them, it just feels stupid typing it, knowing what we know about them.
well done celtic champions for the second time on your way to a new world record of consecutive titles. shammy

Championees! Well done Celtic. Great performance today, thought Hooper was a lot better, playing as a proper front man. Sammie's goal was a cracker, shame we didn't get a clean sheet - but hey ho! Well done Lennie. Great speech at the end. Really humble and genuine!

Hail Hail!

Champions! Very proud of the bhoys, some difficult times as with every season but overall it's been a huge success. Double still on, league won comfortably and last 16 - superb.
Thoughts turn to next seasons squad. Agree with other posters that players seems to be on the way out, unfortunately I can't see this squad staying together, many of them have given 2-3 years and no doubt will be looking at bigger contracts down south- hope I'm wrong. Some might stay to fight through the champions league qualifiers and if we get through. who knows

So let's for talk sake say all rumours are true and following go (or not being given contracts)
Forster, rogne, Wanyama, ledley, hooper, mc court, miku, lassad, Gershon, ambrose
Now with a budget in the black and the sales from above we should be in a good position to try and replace these players.
I'm throwing some names out there:
Russell - been superb and ideal replacement for hooper
Rhodes - Blackburn in trouble and I think he is the 4mill player. him and Russell could be superb together, stokes pushing too.
Doyle - the target man for when we need to switch it.
Mackay Stevens - the flair player
Tonev - the winger we need (Forrest lot of injuries)
Ciani - the cb we need
Richard dunne - struggling with injuries at villa
Paul Robinson or shay given the experienced gk? Given not getting a game at all. why not.

From the above I still think we need a Mf general to replace Wanyama but ill leave that to Mr Park. It's a list of realistic targets at realistic prices (couple could be loans) and some that have an affiliation with the club. So next season squad??

Given/Robinson/zaluska

Matthews/lustig
Wilson
Ciani / Dunne
Mulgrew/izzy

Forrest / tonev
Brown
Kayal /new m/f
Mackay Stevens / mc geouch

Commons/rogic

Doyle / stokes
Russell/watt
Rhodes/sammy

Surely Vincent Lunny, as compliance officer must make a ruling on sevco5088 claiming another club's 54 titles?
Claiming a liquidated club's titles is actually worse than match fixing! It's title fixing! And all of this in blatant defiance of SFA and Uefa association regulations.

What does it take? Two armchair punters complaining?

I think now its clear what happened last summer. brown is now saying green is not the owner. well if brown knew then we can assume it was commen knowledge with the sfa spl sfl and all the old cronies at the rangers. remember rangers were only granted their entry to the third division at the last minute. they all knew it would come out but had it come at that time there would have been no way back. so I think this has all been kept quiet untill they had won the diddy league now it will all be greens fault and and mark my words no action will be taken against the the rangers and it will be all brushed under the carpet. proudcelt

We were told the police raided properties in Scotland an hour after Ticketus won £18.8m against Whyte. But only Whytes properties were mentioned, no mention of SDMs being raided. Yet the raids were regarding the sale from SDM to Whyte.

Whyte sunk Green because he had him on tape. Without the tape it would've been difficult.

Whyte has a few more really big aces up his sleeve, surely including SDM and Lloyds guys and of course D&P. Without any tapes he only has his word against SDMs.

Were the Police after the tapes? To use them in convictions or to?? I hope he has copies around the world with trusted friends.

Typical! Miserable fekn day for a title party. Might brighten later though! Hope we all enjoy ourselves and our fans famous humour is on show. As for Lenny, some great ideas on here about spinning the presentation out for fifteen minutes to ensure he is with his team. Yes, deffo, for me. Remember we are all Neil Lennon

Without serious investment what is the future for our beautiful game? Celtic are caught in something of a trap; a lose lose of sorts whereby fans and pundits will expect sufficient investment to secure successive champions league qualifications, BUT failure to do so on the back of robust investment could put us in trouble for the years ahead; big contracts, demotivated players, domestic boredom and disinterested crowds with an ever diminishing hard core. If we invest and we come through the qualifiers and we get a kind draw, qualification (again) could be a sincere target.

Given the financial landscape of the Scottish game (and we are part of it), there is an argument that Celtic should invest a sufficient amount (just enough) to keep 15-20 points ahead of the rest) and build up the coffers (war chest) for the day when Sevco return. Giving us sufficient funds to bolster and up our game in preparation for a domestic challenge.

I think we are in somewhat of a lose lose. Players who are generally out with our reach but WANT champions league exposure MAY come but with caveats (IE if qualification doesn't come then a trigger for a January move kicks in); horrible to witness as a Celtic fan who wants to become attached to a series of 3 to 4 year heroes.

It is demoralising to see players play half a dozen good games against inferior opposition only for the red tops to start spouting about such and such a club weighing up a £5m bid for any of our players "on form". Intelligent players would know what is going on but their heads are most certainly turned and then the standard and commitment drops.

Celtic have played a BLINDER recently; finding players who are just good enough with sufficient potential to keep us interested and to keep us modestly competitive on the European scene but I fear that our luck could run out. The summer will be a minefield for the Celtic board. Players leaving. Gaping voids in the first eleven and an expectant fan base and media expecting action; we need to keep getting it right.

Of course, the smart money would be on the best emerging scottish talent whereby we can give these guys a platform and reap the financial rewards in 2 to 3 or 4 years. Europe may suffer (it may need to suffer) but if we can be entertained and watch players improve and (*oddly) invite more domestic competition as a result of moving back the way in the transfer market / squad size etc, that may be enough to keep the stadium more than half full!

How do we keep Celtic fresh and relevant in a domestic basket case league where other chairmen and chief executives are struggling to justify wages in excess of £2k a week and any sort of transfer fee? And no Sevco.

Hearts in the mire; United showing financial strain, and crowds (if Thistle come up) of 3000 to 5000 at St Mirren, Motherwell, Ross County, St Johnstone, Partick and Inverness with Dundee United Hibernian and Aberdeen well below 10,000. no investment and next to no "market", where there is NO COMPETITION there is NO MARKET

listen ghuys and ghirlies, I have a plan. I am going to take over the the rangers. iv'e saved up a pound, so finances are in place. and because of the mentality of the sevconians, they will accept anybody who is a sycophantic, brown nosed arse licker. so for the past couple of days I have hung about, pubs, social work departments, rehab units and samaritan offices, just listening.
biggest team in scotland, watp, most successful club in the world, rtid, let the spl rot without us, watp, 55 and counting, we are innocent, watp, we will be back bigger and better, rtid, rangers then rangers now rangers forever, watp, f*** lennon, f***** fanny. rtid, smell the glove, watp, kick us when were down, watp

now I don't know about you, but I think if I can remember these catch phrases i'm in with a chance. after all that's all green & whyte and especially, mini jabba, fat sally, have done for the last year. so folks what's my chances?

on a more serious note, murray, supplied the ammo, whyte fired it and green is just an ass hole. yes these men killed rangers, but above all else. the reason they died and will probably not recover are the catchphrases. rangers, sevcos whatever you want to call them. they are arrogant, they believe the catchphrases. they still think winning trophies is more important than existing. they don't care about riots in barcelona, newcastle, manchester etc, etc, etc. where as we are oh so proud of our fair play awards from uefa and fifa .
i am so so happy to be a bhoy, but if I can buy them and shut them down forever. nirvana. shammy ctid, iaat,

Ill probs get shot down and slaughtered for this statement lol but surely sum 1 wil agree that surely big higdon from m. well could be worth a punt his record this season has been sh1t hot tbh 2 bang in 24 goals so far in any league is a great return especially basically playin up front urself and considering some of the singings we have made on strikers ie daryl murphy, bangura, rasmussen who we all payed good money for and flopped big higdon is proven at spl and who knows maybe maybe not could hack it in europe but a would rather take the chance on him than buying another 1 of these duds he's not the most mobile as in pace and movement but neither was big john hartson so a would take a wee gamble considerin he would cost buttons and wages wouldn't be a lot. Its just and idea btw before all the negative replies come in lol

interesting to see what happens with the enquiry into cg now that he has left the club as he stated " I do not require answer any questions as I am no longer employed at the club"
independent enquiry was a joke as this is now irrelevant and no body was appointed despite assurances it would be swift fans being conned again

So Martin Bain is a front runner for the CEO position at the The rangers. It seems two directors favour him, I would guess the cardigan and Malcolm Murray, I wonder how this will sit with the fans? For me it brings up the question of has Murray still got some clout at the dust bowl?

Sneaky was ready to walk until Murray drove from Edinburgh to dissuade him, this was claimed by a few people. The cardigan, who stood on the sidelines while "his beloved" club died arrived a few months ago. One of greens first promises to the peepul was the renaming of the hated Murray's legacy, Murray Park. Fourteen months after that promise, it has not changed name. Neither the cardigan or sneaky have ever uttered a word of criticism regarding Murray and the sale of the club to Whyte.

When Whyte put the club into administration Murray, on tape, claimed "he did not think he would do it so soon". This obviously means he knew administration was inevitable. Whyte knew Murray. Is Whyte Murray's man? I was suspicious when the s*n broke the Whyte story. If Ian king is reporting anything regarding The rangers, you can bet he will ask Murray if it's okay. He was on the same level as Jabba in the succulent lamb movement.

Today sneaky claimed the club needed cleaned out. A strange thing to say about the club you love. Is Green being hung out to dry? Did Whyte play Green at the behest of Murray? Or has Whyte played the pair of them? Never mind an internal investigation, BDO and the Police should be probing this bunch. It's like the Sopranos FFS. So many shifty characters you don't know who is flipping over who. green jhedi

at the last home game v hibs the craig whyte banner went around the ground, including the directors box.
if the same happens tomorrow and the fans chant. gie it tae neil lennon, do you think he will be able to resist, he seems up for that sort of wind up.
would be hillarious
