From a bluenose I would just like to say what a player Forrest has become . You are lucky to have him . What a game he had for Scotland tonight, the way he took his goals was world class 👍🏻.

Read a comment below about how jamesy has changed his game from going out wide with no final ball to coming inside and having a go fair doos to the bhoy it’s working for him never been his biggest fan and never been a fan of Scotland but this week must put him on top of the world which can only be good for us.

What is it with managers, and I am not only singling out McLeish, O'Neill, Strachan and Rodgers have done similar, Scotland were 3-1 up, and instead of rampaging on against the weakest part of Israel, which was their defence, McLeish decides to make substitutions and defend the lead,

I read that's 12 goals in 11 games for forrest is that right? Some going for him if true. He seems to be adding consistency to his game which he's been lacking in most of his career so well done jamesy 👏👏.

Being a winger is a truly technical and very confidence oriented position, i'm so proud of one of our own kids maturing into a man with our beloved team!
Keep running them ragged wee man!

It's great to see so much consistency and confidence from James Forrest as we all knew he had the talent, but he could drift in and out of form in previous seasons and frustrate.
However, he currently looks the finished article and a top player.
The influence and belief of BR has certainly contributed and when you listen to his team-mates, there's no doubt they rate him immensely.
I hope he continues these amazing performances and earns the rewards that they deserve.

my concern now, is the January window when teams like Man utd start opening the bank. KT, Christie, Forrest, McG are all playing well just now.

They’re all on long term contracts Tim, so if any of them go it’ll be for top dollar. However, I’m fairly confident that they’d all want to stay. CP is a good place to be at the moment.

Outstanding jamesy if his second on Sat night and his 3rd tonight had been scored by Messi or an England player the pundits would be raving about it.

That's correct kev but watch it again if he's one step back when it's hit he'll save it.

Maybe having such a bad transfer window has resulted in the emergence of Christie. Got to admit wasn’t a JF fan but he is on fire and excited for our game at the weekend.

He is the best player in Scotland at this moment in time and he's only in that starting line up because of injuries to other players.

Enire Lisbon Lions team only got 118 between them, the most capped Lion being McNiell with 29 whilst Bertie only got 3. Really you don't have to think too hard. Hat tricks hmm Celtic players are lucky to get hats, I mean caps.

It's that time of year again.
Tomorrow is the Celtic AGM
Sadly, this year I cannot attend despite having a few shares which I will pass on to the girls.
I foresee some embarrassing questions from the floor on our summer transfer policy, or lack of it.
I also have no doubt that Resolution 12 will rear it's head again, and be swiftly ignored by Bankier and Lawwell, but the resolution 12 guys will not go away.
I envisage lots of promises of new players coming in, hmmm we will see on that one.

I will not be there but can someone please ask a question on my behalf though. ‘Peter, can you explain your part in our transfer windae getting pit in during the summer? ’.

The biggest issue was the summer window other than that what else is there to moan about.

Maybe you could also ask him how he convinced Forrest to sign up for another 4 years, or how he convinced Ntcham to sign up for another 4 or how he convinced Rogic to sign for another 4 or how he got Griffiths to sign for another 4 or how got the Benkovic deal over the line or maybe the Mulumbu deal, French Eddy deal.

Did anyone watch forests goals against Albania. Just watched the clip of the game. Even his disallowed goal was special. But his second one. What a finish. Sometimes I think we forget about how good our home grown players are.

James is having an outstanding season by any standards. For a winger he's sure dangerous around the penalty spot (as his second tonite just drove home)

A nice bit of positive news from the respected Fraser of Allen Institute.
Apparently Glasgow Celtic Football Club contribute £165 MILLION every year to the Scottish Economy through our fans buying tickets, merchandise and spending money on other things like hotels, food, transport etc.
To put it in perspective, Golf Tourism to Scotland contributes £155m and even when the Commonwealth Games were held in Glasgow it only generated £125m
HAIL HAIL.
