Haha, thanks for the advise Ed, you sound like my Dad! I think I will be taking your advice for a while, I've already found out their not worth the bloody trouble.
Anyhow I was looking for the Novo Twitter thing, and whilst I was looking I found a passage of his autobiography, and all he did for a whole chapter was slag off Celtic fans, some of the things he was saying in that were sick, and he was basically trying to stir up hate. He also played the 'Catholic Card', before going on to say he wasn't religious, what a tosser. Have you seen it? It was posted on a Celtic blog.

Novo just wants to be adored by the great ignorant and uneducated now his adopted club is dead, there's question marks over anything he won and he's washed up. Get him to say it face to face with the likes of Roy Keane ! Mrs E

I haven't seen his tweet so i'm not sure what he said but i can take a guess.If it's about Catholics then God help him when he goes back to his Catholic homeland of Spain.

There is a difference between writing something that is designed to shock and abhorr to tickle the darker side of some peoples humour and writing something out of pure hatred designed with nothing but hate and sheer stupidity.

The Internet allows those of us with that type of humour a platform to share and it also gives people like that to spout comments purley designed to get a reaction from the intended audience.

I could argue I am guilty of this alot on social media. However I am not in the social limelight nor purposefully sharing these thoughts to be disrespectful, however this could be construed by many as exactly that. Could we begin to see such comments as simply the views of a warped and distressed mind? Or where such comments could do damage to many should they be banned? Freedom of speech is a very hard thing to get right in the modern day.. Where one thing I say could offend one but amuse dozens or the other way round. Because it was said and it offended someone does this make it right? probably not. Does it make it wrog? harder to say but still it doesnt really.

Thinking this of Nacho Novo i just look at it as a spiteful man with nothing better to do than cause a reaction where possible. Because most Celtic fans are in the offended category we see it as wrong and deplorable, which such comments are. But some in society are lauded for their comments of a similar nature. However are accepted purley because they are either powerful, a comedian or they are just being vague or extremeley generalistic. To give a good examlpe i just tweeted something to Frankie Boyle thats a quote from a song, but have decided to delete it cos when my Mrs reads it i would be in biiig trouble. Some things are worth saying in the right company where its taken as its meant to be taken. Doesnt make it right but if no one is there to be upset then is it so wrong? probably still is. in the public domain different rules apply and we all have to be careful. Nacho Novo is a prime example of someone who doesnt think of these differences. Should he be brought to task for such words? im not sure. Should he be discouraged from doing so in the future? definatley.

Ok im fair prattling on now. I shall stop. But im not trying to defend what he says. But maybe trying to put some form of prospecive on why such remarks are made and maybe start a debate lol

I think we should all complain about this sort of thing and get it stopped.
Let the t**tter company and the police investigate,and bring to justice whoever is responsible. Whether it be NN or an imposter. I thought this kind of thing was on the wane,unfortunately it would appear not to be the case.

Cause we never had any money tedbear! When wee fergus came in he never heaped the club with lots of debt! We lived within our means! We had to build from the bottom with the odd good signing! ie van hooijdonk, cadete etc! We went through years off pain but look at us now! Celtic should be applauded for there business model! Put money, time and effort into the scouting and youth systems, reaping the rewards now! All youth teams dominating, lots off talent coming through! First teams worth a fortune! It may take years off pain for u's too! Need to get ur club in the right hands first!

Ok ed , when a read that yesterday itgaught ,wayne biggins , forgot all about him which made me think why could a club the size of celtic only afford a player of such poor quality espesh with their huge crowds and that , tedbear {Ed007's Note - The same way that Rangers had a team of cart horses in the early 80's Ted, they were paying their way to the best of their abilities and only paying what the club could actually afford. Just think Ted, your new club is worth less than CFC paid for Big Bad John? David Murray could have bought two Rangers for Andre Flop's fee and still have enough left for a Flying Pig. I think maybe Rangers fans will think about why did we spend all that money we never had and still never got near a European Cup win. But don't let common sense get in the way of your hatred and jealousy towards CFC, you have nothing else to cling to but memories. Here is a personal favourite that I dedicate to your good self and everyone else who has lost a football club they love:

My only other two bets are Germany winning the whole thing at 4/1 which is looking good and Benzema Top Goalscorer which isn't lol. I've only seen him play about 7 or 8 times and he was quite impressive, but didn't come across as anything special, and two of my mates have ST's at Tranmere and they said he had a good first half to the season but faded. They also said Buchannon, which I've proberly spelt wrong, who's just joined Preston had a better season, and I'm pretty sure he won fans player of the year, so make of that what you want. A decent back up for Matthews perhaps, but I'm not convinced these stories are true at all Tim. He can also play LB which is a positive as well I suppose.

Leave the boycotts to the knuckle draggers fae govan let the clubs have the vote without trying to influence it im pretty sure they wont be allowed into the spl it was when ex rangers fans started protests they started losing support so lets carry on with dignity and look forward to a new season . I agree, lets not turn into thier former club bhoys. yes it would suck and is not right if they are back in spl right away but lets keep our honor and act like our club is and let it unfold before we say anything. lets not sink to thier level by threats and all (even though we are not threating ppl), we hold all the cards now if you think about it. boycotts maybe later on but lets see what happens and be creative in how we show our displeasure like we have in the past, with smart and clean banners, all of spl fans seem to have the same thought of not to let them in so lets not start making noise and force ppl to vote a certain way, that is the way of the dead mob, we are Celtic and with that comes class and dignity so lets not start to give the press and all somthing to go against us. the board and Lenny wont let us down and in them we trust
