Tony {Ed007's Note - I'll tell him mate. Talking about back 4s, how's Cuellars medical going? He has been having it since Friday according to the Rangers page ;-)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Cuellar wouldn't agree to a £15000 pay cut, if he did it would mean that he couldn't have afforded his £12000 a month dentist bill.

i know its pre-season but after that first half if we dont get spine of that team right we could be in trouble.a strong cd and a striker who can hold the ball up and win things in the air.the keeper looks assured but we really should have moved quicker to solve these areas.its been like this for a year know.we have to strengthen now.

Wanyama is on the bench}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

That's a strong team in anybody's book. And we still have zaluska, wanyame, juarez, brown, mccourt and sammi (amongst others) who can come in. One more centre half and maybe a striker and I think we're looking at the 11/12 SPL Champs. Although wanyama might be the centre half we've been looking for

Hi Tony, just read your post on your own site, OH DEAR are you disenchanted with Mr Whyte. Again he has made a rod for his own back by promising £15m.
Sally, Tan Man and Whyte are doing all their talking in papers and like poodles laptop loyal are printing every word but action speaks louder than words.

Down here speaking to lots of people brought it home how BIG Celtic are not just here but all over world. Spoke to a German, Italian and Swiss all said the Celtic strip Green and White Hoops was instantly known all over the world, the Italian said it sells big in Italy and said how many teams play in blue and white Thousands whereas Celtic's Hoops are ICONIC

Billybhoy1 thanks for your compliment earlier, careful tony will get jealous Ed007 looks like Lenny may fast track Wannyama into first team if he plays OK will it be at back or midfield? Timalloy {Ed007's Note - NL has said he was bought to play at CB, but he could try him in MF as well.}

Hi tony, billybhoy1 took my laptop with me ( other half still sulking) had lunch in nice restaurant outside torquay. Going to a cabaret later tonight but reading rangers site all the comedy is on there haha. Brother inlaw back in glasgow tells me papers are advertising hearts game looks like Ibrox will not be full, what happened to the 45,000 season tickets already sold. On your site they are talking about demonstrations before game on saturday, Sally, Golden tan boy have brought it on themselves they are doing all their talking in papers promising this player will sign then another etc.. they have built up your fans expectations.

As to Celtic we did most of our transfer business LAST season, our squad just needs one or two more additions. also watch the players leaving parkhead there will be more going out than coming in. Lenny knows he needs to balance books wages wise.

To the australian guy we welcome guys like tony and billybhoy1 it gives them a place to come and CRY on, we provide a service for disillusioned gers fans. EH Tony Billybhoy

Leave you with a smile as you mentioned my laptop.

Hey Ed looking at the first half performance things are not that bleak i think we have enough at ibrox to handle Malmo and for the first few games of the new season i also think you will see new faces at ibrox before the transfer window closes.

what do you think billyboy and ed

Tony

I thought we looked great in the first half Tony Naisy Davis and Jelavic linked up brilliantly and we played some attractive football at times. I think we will be ok as long as we don't get a lot of injuries. We will get players in but we will have to be patient but if they pull out another Jelavic signing Tony I wont complain lol

Billyboy1

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Nice to see some optomistic Rangers fans, just been on the Rangers site, Judging by some of the posts there may be a few calls to the samaritans tonite. Its all doom and gloom

Agree0 Disagree0

Been over there myself and it does look like some ppl wont be allowed near sharp objects but i am optimistic i would be more worried if Celtic where setting the transfer alight with their signings but that aint happening either.

i think Celtic are looking at the rangers squad and are thinking that they have what it takes to win the league without spending much and they may have something in this but watch this space if rangers do get a few good players in watch the cheque book at Celtic park come out,

Tony

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Celtic have a good squad plenty options and a good 1st 11, I wouldn't think the cheque book will be coming out much regardless of what Rangers do, I think Its pretty obvious Rangers are not planning on spending big, they will make signings but nothing to get excited about, squad players.

Agree0 Disagree0

At this stage squad players would do nicely

Not a rumour, total truth, heard it from your sisters, boyfriends best pals dog...Bellamy on his way NOT

Believable0 Unbelievable0

20 Jul 2011 14:52:28
Mphela would be a good deal for Celtic, he is quick and has talent, and can play anywhere across the front line, and at 1.5 million a nice piece of business, as for Pletikosa, Redknapp knows a good player, it did not work out at Spurs, he has played at the highest level, with spartak in the champions league, international caps as well, and on a free is good business, and if we get Craig Gordon in january on a free also, goalkeeping position solved.
we dont need Bellamy, or Keane, McFadden is a quality player, needs to get his fitness back afte long injury, so would make a good squad player, especially as he is a free agent, and if he keeps injury free could be the impact player we need on the bench if he regains his form. players need to go, such as Hooiveld, Thompson, Maloney, O Dea, Murphy but Jaurez and Rasmussen should be given till january

I have been reading these pages for sometime now without reply as I am in Australia but read vigorously on the net about our beloved Celtic.
I just don't get the amount of "ORKS" that seem to be more interested in Celtic than the goings on in "MORDOR" or not as the case may be as most players with a tad of intelligence seem to be aware of the historic hatred within their club. Can anyone tell me why there are so many comments from these so called beings? Surely there is an equivalent for such types?

Because my friend it's a banter page and it's a free world. If you go onto the Gers page there Celtic fans posting on a daily basis. Most of the Celtic fans on here are decent i.e. Paddybhoy, Kevbhoy, Timalloy sometimes Jamie mac lol they can give it and take it unliek yourself.

what i will say is most of us Orcs are not the knuckle dragging bomb posting u*f bigots ppl like you wish to portray us as.

just as all you Celtic fans out their are not the gun running poppy burning i*a loving bigots that the mirror image of ppl like you over on the Rangers pages want everyone to believe.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Yeah i'm good, watched the game last night 1st half looked good then 2nd half rested a lot of first team players ad it highlighted how much we need signings. It's not looking as if we are going to sign anyone before Saturday but its football I've learned to expect the unexpected.

Billyboy1. {Ed007's Note - Without having a dig, it is looking bleak from what is happening. McCoist is showing some of the naivety shown by NL last year by talking about targets before anything actually happens, GS should know better and be helping him out more IMO.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ah a fellow Orc at last things are good billyboy Tims still on holiday he managed a post before missus Tim dragged him out he said he was not going to take his laptop on holiday so i assume he must have nicked one lol

Tony {Ed007's Note - Tim was having problems posting Tony, still don't know why, a bit like you the other week}

Agree0 Disagree0

It is starting to bug me ED, 48 hours this 24 hours that see if they just tried to get the players in rather than discussing time scales in the papers we might get some players in. Altough I do believe we will get some playesr in before the window I would have liked at least 4 in by now but hey what do I know. We just seem to talk about signing players rather than actually signing them.

Billyboy1 {Ed007's Note - You should be hoping it doesn't become knee jerk reaction signings Billy, making signing for the sake of numbers. TBH I did think Miller would have came back, as for Cuellar, from day one I thought it was BS, he isn't even fit to pass a medical so why would Rangers risk signing him? As for loans, everyone knows how I feel about them, do any of them really work out for the best in the long run?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey Ed looking at the first half performance things are not that bleak i think we have enough at ibrox to handle Malmo and for the first few games of the new season i also think you will see new faces at ibrox before the transfer window closes.

what do you think billyboy and ed

Tony {Ed007's Note - I think Malmo away could be a bit tricky Tony, they have already started their season and although not got off to the best of starts will be fitter and more up to speed, I would imagine that they will be a strong physical side, and isn't Laugherty injured?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Just been on SSN, there must be about 3 or 4 more players Rangers have put in crazy low bids for (quotes from Sally). Think I read it on here the other day, it's almost like they're bidding cos they have to keep the fans happy, they don't actually want to have to pay for these players.

Worrying times for our neighbours? Ed makes a fair point bout Sally being naive, but I think he's covering his sizeable a$$ in front of the fans for when (not if) they turn.

Shaunybhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

KNow what you mean ED Ally has come out and said they don't want to sign players for the sake of it but if they don't get a few in sson they might panic buy which is not what I want. I would rather they went for young talent rather than players who used to play for the club.

2 of my mates are just back very hungover and they said in the pubs and bars before and after the game there was the usual embarrasing songs and the hullo hullo anthem was getting sung all day as well as the famine song and both were sang at the game despite some other decent fans trying to get them to stop there sectarian chants,

just spoke to my son regarding sectarian singing and yes there was a handful of morons trying to shame our club once again but the vast majority of fans out sung them. at one stage a scuffle broke out between rangers fans over a couple of guys trying to sing hello hello but they were soon slapped.

and as for the above post yes there were inappropriate song sung in the bars but most of you guys know that a lot of the songs are being sung in bairds bar before and after an old firm match would not be tolerated at the ground.

we cannot catch all these morons who are trying to embarrass our club just as Celtic as a club cant stop some of their morons from singing sectarian songs or stop the clown that was mocking Claudia rainier after 9 11.

the best chance of eradicating this behaviour is by self policing which by all accounts is what the vast majority of rangers fans are trying to do.

So please guys lets not give these morons a platform to spout their vile bigoted views regardless of what colour of shirt they wear.

Tony {Ed007's Note - What gets sung in pubs isn't the clubs concern or problem (although it is a problem in itself). It is up to the clubs to stop it inside their grounds and I have been told by Ed003 who is a Blackpool fan and was at the game that Rangers fans were generally well behaved.}

And there we have it at blackpool. "We hate Celtic, Fenian b**tards' Rangers in sectarian singing shocker wonder if that be head line morrow papers if was us would be front page

Sh*te Sh*te and more Sh*te i watched the Blackpool v Rangers game on premier sports and i heard no such things. what i did hear was the Sash.God Save The Queen, Rule Britannia, Build My Gallows, Remember and a few others i heard no such mention of the words Fenian b**tards and anyone on here who knows me knows i would be the first to condemn such sectarianism.

all this is is some small minded a*sehole trying to cause a bit of bother because there is not enough happening with Celtic at the moment to post about and you would never praise Rangers so you just come on here spouting your lies and trying to cause trouble and put more division between Celtic and Rangers Fans.

as i said i only watched the game live on telly but my Son was at the game and is due back this afternoon i will find out from him.

Tony

I think If Rangers fans are singing sectarian or offensive songs then they will be found out with T.V coverage etc. I think we should leave It to others to bring this to the publics attention as we just make ourselves look stupid when our lot do the same, re Tyncastle last season. I go to Celtic games and we are not the angels some of our support seem to think we are, I'm also honest enough to admit that, unlike some who have selective hearing.

My cousin was at the game, after reading the original post this morning i gave him a wee text to enquire. Sadly it would appear there were a few chants being made by a small minority, but they were quickly hushed up by the decent fans in the crowd.

2 of my mates are just back very hungover and they said in the pubs and bars before and after the game there was the usual embarrasing songs and the hullo hullo anthem was getting sung all day as well as the famine song and both were sang at the game despite some other decent fans trying to get them to stop there sectarian chants, my mates also heard fellow gers supports calling others fenian lovers/b**tards and fuc**** person lovers when they were asked to stop which they said was by a good majority of the travelling support, just like stirling albion last week there are the fans who will constantly keep you in the past gloryifing some dutch poofter on his white horse or the linfield game with the flute bands playing throughout the game

Afternoon ed, how u think the game will go tonite u think we will more or less play the 11 that will start on sunday?

viewparkbhoy {Ed007's Note - I'm fine thanks VPB and you? I think NL will use tonights game to let players who need it get their fitness fine tuned etc, in a pre season friendly anything can happen selection wise, it depends what way NL approaches the game but I think he will be looking at Izaguirre to get a half decent shift under his belt to prove he is ready for Sunday, and a few of the squad that were in Australia will get a run out as well at some point}

In these days of sell to buy players.Why does Celtic not offer Hamilton Accies players for Cerny with add on, s. It could cost them next to nothing and get fringe players of the wage bill.

Before pre season started we were promised 3 top quality signings , but so far we seem to be going down the trial or bosman route. I hope lenny is not holding back money for keane as I feel that is not what we need.

There is no money in Scottish football mate, open your eyes and look at even the championship in comparison. c'mon it's not rocket science or even basic accounting for that matter
