First time emailer Ed. Love the site and if i'm honest it has become an addiction. Not really a transfer rumour but thought I would ask the question to some of the posters over the last few weeks, "would you still want Joey Barton in the hoops now?" His latest rant against Neil Warnock disgusted me. This guy is classless to revel in someone loosing their job. I'm not the biggest Warnock fan but jesus will this scumbag ever learn to shut up? I read the '10 reasons' link you put on the site and can't say anything on there surprised me. He really is a low life and I would put money on him not lasting another season at QPR with Hughes in charge. He is quickly becoming an unemployable pariha. I would call it a day as a supporter if he soiled our jersey. {Ed007's Note - Welcome to the site mate. I have explained how I feel about Barton on a few occasions. It would be a dark day if he got anywhere near CFC. He is an idiot, thug, bully and downright nasty little kn*bhead.}

If Hooper had any ambition he would move back to england. It wont do his career any good playing football in scotland. the standard is awful! Its probably equivalant to league one/championship best. {Ed007's Note - Eh.. it is a Championship team he was linked to. So why have all the upheaval when he is playing at that level already according to you. Take your time and think about things in future, you might get on a bit better.}

The standard is awfull? Have you been watching the EPL this year its slowly going route one and its a sad state of affairs when the only team worth watching is a promoted team from Wales.lol.
Infact there is no team in the EPL this year who would scare Celtic and i would fancy our chances against any of them especially at home. If you look to the middle/lower end of the EPL the standard is dreadfull. As for the championship, its full of players that couldn't get near our team and the Rangers team for that matter.

looking at some of the awful strips nike have come up with what about having a comp among fans to design the third strip? great pr,and giving something back to us cos i think we knpw more than some ponytailed designer! maybie even charge a fiver to enter all money to thai tims? i think the response would be massive. green jhedi

I remember a while ago there was a copetition in the 'View' to design a 2nd strip and it was a green and black stripey top as I remember thinking black was nothing to do with our team colours.
However it has featured in several strips since then some of them were ok.
I remember a 'pinstripe' with a collar that I actually bought and that was before it was spoiled by sponsorship on the front.
So why not give supporters another go?

What's everyone's thoughts on this team GB? Forgot the politics that goes with it, do you think it's a good idea & if you got the call would you go?

My only beef Is the Scottish players might not get a game infact I think they would be lucky to get the bench

I am not a fan of any international football but this is just a way to get the normal man in the street interested in the Olympics in general. It could have serious repercussions for the individual FAs as well in years to come.}

You should be banned if your just in to for Team GB...how often would a Team GB event be ? I think if you want to play and it in no way interferes with your club or home country then fine. I'm sure none of the England squad will be included this year for the Olympics because of the Euros so the Scottish players might not be left on the bench....this time - Mrs E

I think they should let England represent GB this time,Scotland in the next olympics,then Wales after that,then NI after that.Problem solved.

The team is called Great Britain and Northern Ireland Olympic team, how is that part of GB? It just shows how pathetic the whole Olympics thing is when a country can claim to be part of something that it isn't. The OCI objected to the change in 2004 and there was a fear it could have harmed the bid for this years games. Athletes from NI can also choose to represent Eire at the Olympics as well. A simple Google search will show you that NI is not part of GB.}
