Well go on the bbc website and watch his interview and he says he turned you down for us and your all jealous. We enquired about him 7 weeks ago so we wanted him first but your intrest was made public before ours.

What do you think he would have said in his interview "I actually wanted to sign for Celtic, but you's will have to do!"So of course he will pander to his new teams fans, tell them what they would want to hear.We all know how fickle fans can be so a couple of bad games and you will all be telling him to f*ck off to Parkhead.

Some of the names being rumord on hear are just laughable who on earth makes this stuff up Given will not be joining neither will lescott man city paid over 20mill for him only a year ago so he won't be going anywhare near parkhead owen, bechio, won't join either also lawrence siad he won't join he did think about it early in the transfer window but he won't join now as for McFadden he has allways said he will never ever play for any of the old firm so that's the end of that one before it even started. most likely players that will join are speroni, a rb for cover for the poor hinkel injury and maybe a cf but that's bout it. that will be 11-12 players lennon has got in remember last year when big tony did the same look what happend there lenny has brought in more than he realy wanted but now has to cool it down a bit.

Im not saying McFadden will or won't sign but just because a player states he won't play for a certain club doesn't mean its set in stone! Remember Mo Johnston for example! Everybody has their price.

Well said mate, I'm a Rangers fan and find some of our our fans utterly disgusting. You lot sing things like you'll never walk alone and feilds of athenry, these are not bigoted in anyway whatsoever and could not (except by bigoted morons from my side of Glasgow) be construed as such.
Some of the things i hear at Ibrox are revolting, that pish about German bombers, i have a German friend who support Rangers, how do you think they feel when that is chanted.
Its about time we started forgetting this crap and supporting our teams, i'm all for a bit of banter, it makes the OF as special as it is but ( particularly on our side) it goes too far.

Just because we haven't heard of some of the signings doesn't make them bad players, we hadn't heard of lubo and not much about boruc and look how they turned out. we however were all looking foreward to graveson coming and were totally disappointed with him.its not what they have done before its what they do once they are here that matters.

You my friend are clearly of the orange variety. The fact that Lennon has admitted being interested in Given shows that if a deal can be done then it will be, this is not something that the fans are making up. McFadden also I think you will find said a couple of weeks back that he WILL play in scotland again in the not to distant future and the only likely destination for that would be Celtic (I personally wouldn't want him though). We won't sign a RB as Hinkel was'nt needed anyway as Cha is 1st choice. To bring Mowbary into the equation is silly as he made 3 signings at the start of last season and his mistake was to bring in a load of players in JANUARY! Lennon has been clever by getting his signings in early. . . . Enjoy your season at the piggery and good luck (you will need it)

Will you all please stop your pish, your still mentioning Keane and Given, I've seen people (who MUST be smacked of there tits on glue) mention Kanoute and Lescott.
If we are lucky we'll bring in a few more 2nd - 3rd raters from somewhere we aren't selling shirts yet, probably and african from somewhere.
A few days ago we were meant to be signing Weiss and someone said Jelavic deal was to be hi-jacked.
Get a grip for god sake, theres more chance of lenny putting on the boots again than ANY of these guys coming. Of all the signings we've made Juarez and Kayal are to only two who don't look utterly useless. Lets face it though, if your being 100% honest would you take Juarez and Kayal or Davis and Edu? It'd be Davis and Edu everytime for me.
Lets be honest how many Celtic players would Smith pick for their starting 11? Scott Brown, on his day and that's about it. They've done it again, just as they look to be on the way down they pull out 3 signing and while its only 3 they are a better quality I can't deny that. I know, whether we admit it or not we are all thinking that Jelavic is going to cause us hurt this season.
I really don't have a lot of hope for Celtic this season, and if Mcoist has learned half of Smith's trade its going to be that way for some time to come.

Im a celtic fan of 35 years , and i think. . Walter Smith has done a much better job in the transfer windows that Lenny has , Lenny seems to be signing everybody and their dog , players we know nout about, 1m here 1.5m there , they are that price for a reason. . . . Where as Walter is signing proven quality players.
When we played Rapid Vienna in the Europa , Nikica Jelavic was fantastic , and gave me the sh* ters everytime he got the ball. quality player at a quality age , and only 4.1m.
I'm happy with 2 signings Lenny has made , Juarez and Ledley, all the rest are total panic buys. . classic example of this is . . Charlie Mulgrew , then buys another LB. . why not hold out and jst choose 1 of the 2. waste of money!

Just a few of points i'd like to make now that we have our own page and don't have to scroll past the usual crap of Ozil, Remy, etc lol!

1] To clarify, yet again, Robbie Keanes' wages were NOT covered by DD. a statement made by Lawell during the Q&A sessions clarified this, and also the subsequent release of the interim finances.

2] The Weiss loan deal was part of the Bellamy deal. Celtic made an offer for Bellamy, and were offered Weiss as a package deal. Celtic accepted the deal only on the condition that Bellamy would come. Bellamy chose family over football & money (credit due) and we had no interest in taking Weiss (where would he play?) The whole 'i spoke to lubo' thing is paper talk. Weiss was NEVER a target, but we were willing to take him just to get Bellamy.

3] McGeady wasnt forced out the door. i know him personally. he told me he wanted to stay, but hated the fact that for most of the past 2 seasons, the team have been relying on him to work wonders, beat 2 or 3 guys, with no support. he took the criticism of having no final ball really hard, his argument was 'who's there worth crossing to?' anyone with a knowledge about the game would see his point. he was waiting on O'Neil to step in with a bid, but was told in JANUARY by O'Neil, that if he didn't get the support from Villa directors, he should consider other options. Martin has also said his pohone will always be on.

4] Off topic a bit. . the whole Bigot issue. . i just read a remark by a rangers 'fan' commenting on YNWA 1888's post about Majstrovic breaking Weiss's leg. he reckons that was a bigoted comment.
the term Bigot means "a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion."

Now, sorry if i'm wrong, but i don't see any bigoted remarks in saying one guy hopes he breaks another guys legs. .malice, yes, bigotry, no!

Celtic will not get far in europa league with zaluska hes a good player but not wat we need as a first team player, if we culd get shay given we would get far and rangers got weiss nd beattie and r gettin the rapid vienne forword but we have forrest and maloney who r the sme as weiss if nt better, and we have hooper who has a better goal to game ratio than tht vienne forword, and beattie will not settle plus samaras has started to play well. Juarez and Kayal will b better than davis and edu (obv) tht swedish cb looks class after his performance against utreacht , he is better than bougy hahahha bougy is so over rated just lyk kris boyd . boyd played 8 years in the spl and scored about 20 goals mre than larsson and larsson played 4 and a half . and he broke his leg . CELTIC FOR THE LEAGUE ND EUROPA LEAGUE! !
