I am amazed that Stewart Robertson is still on the SPFL board unless they haven't reconvened You would think he would have tendered his own resignation after that mess he put the full of Scottish football through.

I agree he could turn out to be a really good player with good coaching.
His contract with Aberdeen is until 2024.
Remember the quotes Celtic were getting about McKenna from Aberdeen.
I think they will price Ferguson out of a move also.

When I said he should do the honourable thing, I admit I was being a bit stupid as Sevco and honour are not generally used in the same sentence.

With 7 players now left im wondering if we are going to be ruthless and really go for it big time.
Thats about 100k on wages which is equivalent to 4 × 25k players.
So if Fraz and Moi are 2 then possibly buy one get other on loan so not much outlay. Im thinking Wanyama is a possibility now as he can easily play CH.
Also a long term replacement for Brown and mibi play both in Europe.
Ed do u know if VW is fit enough to play 30-40 games.
Which leaves 1 more any ideas guys? .

I'd quite fancy seeing a Prosinecki or Pirlo type player brought in. Someone a bit older but someone who could control and dictate the tempo. Someone who could sit a bit deeper and see what's going on in front of him.

I thought the midfield kind of freed up a bit when Brown was absent and you had Christie and Calmac playing together as the holding midfield. Having an older head playing with them I imagine would take us up to a higher level - Brown's not that person.

Calmac can do that job. We still have Soro to show what he can do he looks a decent box to box player with plenty of drive. If Browns resting Calmac can pull the strings and either Soro, Ntcham and Christie can be the midfielders in beside him.

What is it with this hero worship of Brown, he has been a fantastic player and captain for us, but his time as a first team player was over two years ago, he is becoming like one of these boxing champs who can't accept the march of time and they take on one fight too many, and end up humiliated with their reputation in ruins, don't let this happen to Scott, refresh the midfield, let McGregor take Browns role, leave Scott on the bench as a non playing captain.
