i think danny murphy and andy johnson from fulhm would be gret additions, both free transfers.

Believable1 Unbelievable9

They are given frees to get their ridiculously high wages off the books. Ignore them. Tv distorts players ability. You only remember the good bits about them. Fulham dont want to pay them why should celtic ?

Agree2 Disagree0

Would hate to see that cheating diving tube johnson pull on the hoops

Agree0 Disagree2

Do not want us to sign any players from the premier$$$$$hip far too inflated wages for average players need more like big vic, kayal and izzy

Ed - Kyle Lafferty might be staying at Rangers.

I've just donated £3 to the Save a Donkey Appeal.

K-Dot.

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Thats 2.99 too much and an insult to all donkeys worldwide comparing them with him

Agree5 Disagree0

Kyle Lafferty has been arrested on firearm offences, it's alleged that he went on a shooting spree in Glasgow after learning he had to leave rangers* no-one was injured

Would not touch him. He is the most injury prone player in the history of world football. When he is fit though he is outstanding. We need a fully fit comanding cb. I really think mills is the guy we need

Believable1 Unbelievable0

OK, I'll bite, WHICH injury prone player?
we are all dying to know... hail hail Timalloy

Is it not the job of administrators to get best deal for creditors then should the full rangers team be put up for sale to get more money for cva

Believable12 Unbelievable0

Agree but they won't have to put them up for sale as they'll walk!

Agree6 Disagree1

Totally agree. One of Whyte's opening shots when he took over Rangers was to increase the wages of McGregor, Davis, Whittaker and I believe Naismith.

Clearly part of the the non payment of £14m taxes was used to pay these increased wages.

THE CVA proposal only allows for money received in staged for players already sold, e.g. Jelavic, to be put into the CVA pot.

They should be forced to sell players to the value of £14m to put into the CVA pot.

But hey ho, Duff & Phelps will get their £5m.

3-5-2 or 4-4-2?? Personally I like 3-5-2 as long as the wing backs do their job properly
Matthews and izzaguirre i think are reliable in that position

Believable8 Unbelievable0

Difficult one.

I liked the 3-5-2 formation at the end of the season, but if we continued with this, we'd have to drop the 2 wide players - Forrest and Samaras.

K-Dot.

Agree0 Disagree0

3-5-2 but that means no forrest which would be a shame

Has anyone thought that all the procrastination going on right now by the SFA after the court
decision is just leading to a watering down of punishment for
Rangers, get a grip Regan, all this faffing about is making our
league the laughing stock of Europe, grow a set man !!

Believable2 Unbelievable2

If anything, it's leading to more severe punishment. IMHO, They knew all along that D&P would challenge the embargo

I get this feeling that Bobby Ewing will step out the the shower and say
WATP,what a farce

Just a thought Ed, But what do you think of this scenario. Rangers get stripped of, say, 50% of everything they ever won during the EBT spell. Does this leave the teams who were denied a league / cup(s)/ European place etc able to take Rangers to the arbitration court for loss of potential earnings during that time? One thing for sure, is there is no point in asking Neil Doncaster. {Ed007's Note - That is a thought.}

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Why 50%? if they get stripped it will be all they won..bb

Agree1 Disagree1

If Rangers don't back down and FIFA hammer all the Scottish clubs with suspension from Europe, would that mean all these clubs could sue Rangers for loss of earnings too?

Jungle Bhoy. {Ed007's Note - It's not down to Rangers to back down, they have to be punished for the initial charges of brining the game into disrepute AND now have to be punished for taking legal action. The SFA have to make sure the punishment is suitable to FIFA.}
