Cannot believe e McInnes, complaining about Celtic getting a fouls for the goal . Aberdeen should have had at least 1 player off if not 2 . Give it a rest derek .

Not often you can truly see the 'culture' of a team so influenced by a manager. Aberdeen played it nasty, cheap n ineffective n just a bit miserable. Dez has got his stamp on it ok.

Just listened to his post match interview on Sportsound. What an absolute deluded fool the man is. This guy is as bitter as a lemon. Tried to say they deserved a draw. Sorry mate, to deserve a draw you actually need to compete, unless parking the bus for a nil nil is all of a sudden deserved. Clown.

Very professional performance. Boyata solid again and deserving of his man of the match award, Bitton i thought made some fantastic tackles and played some lovely balls throughout the 90. Tierney quite simply the best leftback in the UK at the moment (What must he be worth!? ) . Gordon although didn't have anything to do tonight was good with the ball at his feet. All in all everyone played well including the guys that came on. HH

Said it at the weekend but Henderson always impresses me . His fifteen minute run out tonight, he showed again good vision, lovely weight of pass. And created a good few chances for the team . Hope he gets a fair chance now for the rest of the season, but again another good solid performance. We just look so comfortable against everyone in the league. I just hope the management and certain players don't get too bored with the league as I look forward us getting better over the next couple of seasons

Agree5 Disagree2

01 Feb 2017 22:57:12
Agreed Quinn he had some nice touches, some great build up play between himself and Roberts. I thought he might go out on loan but glad he is still with us Rodgers can take him to the next level. HH

If celtic win their next 4 league games and rangers lose just one we win the title by beating them at parkhead. Roll on 12th march

Believable2 Unbelievable3

01 Feb 2017 21:56:39
Was wondering bout that.

Agree0 Disagree2

01 Feb 2017 22:06:32
We are 25 points ahead if they lost one and we won all of ours that would make 28 points, 23 games played + 5 more makes 28 therefore 10 games left. I think that means they have to lose 2 games to win the league on the 12th of March which i think we will.

Agree0 Disagree3

01 Feb 2017 22:06:25
What about aberdeen will if they win they're game in hand

Agree1 Disagree1

01 Feb 2017 22:20:31
we need 21 more points so even if we win those 6 games Aberdeen could still win it. We need them and sevco to drop points to win it in March.

Agree1 Disagree1

01 Feb 2017 22:31:46
Yes but one of the losses will be against us hence rangers lose one more game out of next 4 and get beat by us

Agree0 Disagree1

01 Feb 2017 22:47:25
Guys I been confused over this "goin for 55" malarkey and couldn't understand what its about. But don't worry got it now its going for 55 point lead.

Think Celtic have to start looking at Jamie walker as a serious transfer target. Would be much stronger with him in the middle instead of bitton and mcgregor

01 Feb 2017 22:09:48
I thought Bitton and McGregor both played well tonight.

Ed007 does that mean we can win the league against the mob at Parkhead?

Believable0 Unbelievable2

{Ed007's Note - I don't know mate.}

01 Feb 2017 21:55:29
Think it was something like 30 points ahead and beating them would win the league. Very possible

Agree0 Disagree1

01 Feb 2017 21:55:37
I reckon if we both win our next four games we'll be 25 ahead with 33 up for grabs still so need them to drop a few more points this month but there is every possibility of that happening.

Anthony Stokes was sentenced today for beating up an Elvis impersonator. Apparently he's up in court again soon for destroying another tribute act at Hampden last May!

Believable4 Unbelievable1

01 Feb 2017 18:01:12
2 years suspended sentence he's a lucky bhoy he could easily have got time. seemingly the elvis impersonater said he was "ALL SHOOK UP" at the verdict.

He hardly touched him he only stepped on his blue sued shoes

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2017 23:31:44
He thought the impersonator was talking about him -
so Stokes started talking to his mate about him
- as they got on a bus at the same time.

so the impersonator (stay with me) said
"We can't get on together, with suspicious minds"

so Stokesy decked him.

I know i am going to be shot down for this. What about Ciftci starting up front tonight?

Let me explain first the team did not quite click on saturday until the last 15 mins Roberts did very well playing out of position but he did not bully the defence. Next Aitchinson is going to be a first class striker maybe even taking over from Dembele if we can keep MB for another 18 mths, but he is still young.

Lastly Nadir would get a big lift from being selected and could be encouraged to run and fight his heart out, pulling and pushing the Aberdeen defence every which way.

Has not Gordon, Boyata, Simunovic, Isagurrie, Biton, Armstrong, Macgregor, Henderson and Forrest all came back better players after it looked like they had no future under BR

Believable3 Unbelievable4

01 Feb 2017 17:39:48
Acht give the lad a chance, I'm all for giving chances, also even if he does not score there are still plenty goals in the rest of the team

01 Feb 2017 18:06:28
Not likely to happen but in the spirit of 'chances'ynot

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2017 18:28:43
I think this will be our toughest game for a while and with the injuries we have and lack of striker, it's quite possibly the type of midweek game we could drop points?
Forrest has been abysmal for weeks and is overdue a decent game - or give GMS or someone else a jersey.

01 Feb 2017 18:40:04
Good substitute to have incase any the sheep are needing the teeth sunk into them. joking aside tho all they guys and fringe players who have came in have also done us proud this season and have stood up and been counted when its mattered and helped us keep the run going so mabye big ciftci could sling a suprise lol

Right now the nonsense is over, what is the news for tonight's big game? I take it dembele is still out? What about Griffiths and Armstrong any chance of either or both making it?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

01 Feb 2017 11:15:19
Sly sports reported Dembele, Griffith, Armstrong and Rogic all out. looking at the same team as the weekend

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2017 11:37:32
Why is Rogic still out? He was supposed to be back before now.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2017 12:00:44
Kevbhoy- was thinking the same. He has played more football than he has in years and we could be getting him back to 100% before bringing him back in?

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2017 13:27:53
Is there any chance we might play Aitchison up top tonight? IMO Sinclair is not really suited to the lone striker role, despite his 2 goals at the weekend.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2017 16:09:45
Is the game on telly tonight?

Agree1 Disagree0

01 Feb 2017 16:16:11
Defo should give the young guy the chance while we can this chance of not having a first team striker might not happen again.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2017 16:27:42
I agree sinclair has tendency to drift wide. He prefers to attack coming in from left. He does get into good central areas but prefers coming from wing.

01 Feb 2017 10:03:46
Don't know about you bhoys! But I'm glad that transfer window is over. Not bothered about no one coming in, just glad the board stuck by BR word that no 1st team players were leaving this window. As much as the speculation excited me around big moussa. I'm glad he's still here, at least until the end of next seasons CL qualifiers (I hope).

Also of note, we've loaned the bhoy fasan to port vale, strange lol. Hope big efe goes to Blackburn and does well, always liked him as a man but his time with us was over after fenerbache. Hail hail lads. Onwards and upwards. If that's even possible. As you can tell, yes, I'm on the swaldo πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜‚

Believable1 Unbelievable1

01 Feb 2017 08:56:10
Well another transfer window been and gone hoped we would maybe get another player in however the best transfer news was keeping our star players, praise to the board for showing ambition and not taking the money. January always is a hard time to get players in as mid-season so I'm a happy Bhoy. HAIL! HAIL!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

01 Feb 2017 09:13:57
I suppose the plus side is it's another window we haven't came out of looking weaker.

Agree1 Disagree0

01 Feb 2017 08:15:25
Never known the establishment to be so scared of our success. We usually have them trying to destabilise our team during transfer windows but yesterday was unbelievable.

Craig Gordon
Kieran Tierney
Erik Sviachenko
Joso Simunovic
Muossa Dembelle

All linked with the premiership this will get worse as we inevitably approach ten in a row. I suspect it will get dirty really dirty with negative stories in MSN constantly and players who are settled continually linked away.

They hate the thought a young player or players love it in Glasgow. They hate the thought we are going to eclipse the old clubs best efforts. They hate the thought that questions of stripping titles will happen if thier appeal is thrown out on the tax cases. That would also lose them thier most successful club ever boast. Hate the fact we all know they are a five year old club but most of all they just HATE us

Believable4 Unbelievable1

{Ed001's Note - this is nothing to do with establishment or any other ridiculous conspiracy theory. It is all about money. It is clickbait to get you and others to read their sites and view their ads. I can understand the temptation, because it is bloody hard to get a decent amount of page views without using clickbait tactics, but it is not because you are hated. It is quite the opposite, it is all about knowing you have a large fanbase that will look to read any old crap about your club to keep up with the news.}

01 Feb 2017 09:38:15
I think there is a large element of this that your right about ED but I also think there is a huge element of collusion with ibrox particularly traynor that drives a lot of this

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - sorry but you are being ridiculous. I hear the same thing from every team's fans, how the media hates them and it is all a conspiracy to target their players and unsettle the team. There is no such thing happening. It is simply a bunch of hacks making up nonsense to earn themselves money. It is little more than a scam, imo, by newspapers etc, that really should be illegal, as it is certainly immoral.}

01 Feb 2017 10:38:12
Scottish media been biased against celtic for as long as I've lived know a guy who works at the DR and yes he's a blue nose and he's told me as much

Gotta agree with u ramgo mate! . can u imagine what it will be like if we play the sevco in a hampden final for our treble lol it will be honest mistake madness on a level never before seen and that takes some doing

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2017 12:20:08
Is this the same media that's saying our boardroom is in pieces, aye it's biased ok then. Why do read the media then i know i very rarely look at it because i know what they were like during the past 5 years, dearie me

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2017 12:53:53
Saint monkey (apt name btw) the last 5 years the media has given u an easy time every criminal tax dodger been lauded as your saviour, when will they call out sir David for his mismanagement or the glib and shameless liar for well for everything, I wait with baited breath HH

So monkeyrfc your saying you don't read the media because they have been biased against the rangers for the last five years?

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2017 18:50:59
No what im saying is both our clubs supporters shouldn't believe any or try to use media sources as the truth i know it happens on both sides, i used the past 5 yrs as an example of why i wouldn't trust any media, we all know that if its peaceful it doesn't sell, glamorous outbreaks of shocking headlines sells

Strange that Commons hasn't left. Could he be in the squad tomorrow night? Maybe seen as a potential back up striker. Can play that role

Commons Ambrose and Ciftci all staying put. Hope BR sends them to train on their own for the rest of there time at the club, they are taking wages under false pretenses

Believable2 Unbelievable9

01 Feb 2017 09:23:31
We bought them and offered them those wages. Not their fault they are with us. Bit harsh.

Agree2 Disagree0

01 Feb 2017 09:34:20
These guys have contracts so why should they leave if the moves not right for them? wide comment!

Agree2 Disagree0

01 Feb 2017 09:28:32
Jonace why? We were perfectly happy to give them the contract they are on, none of them have caused us any problems in the press to the best of my knowledge and all three I'm sure turn up and train like true professionals and all three would be more than willing to play against Aberdeen tonight unless injured. We would be the first to complain if dembele or siclair threw there toys out the pram and acted unprofessionally if they wanted away so it works both ways .

Agree1 Disagree0

01 Feb 2017 10:22:01
Can you explain why it's false pretences?
As far as I am aware they turn up to their job everyday and do the work ask of them.
Are they not honouring their contracts some how?

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2017 12:14:48
Nonsense. None of them have demanded to be transfer listed as far as I know. None of them have said they hate the club and don't want to be part of it. All they want is 1st team football and they won't get it here so why not explore finding a loan deal. Every one of them will take a pay cut when they leave us so if nothing better or similar is offered why walk?

Agree1 Disagree0

31 Jan 2017 23:44:37
Was hoping for one more but not too disappointed as we've cut the squad a little this window and the summer brings another 3-4 to the end of their contract. Still think there are too many stealing a wage but nowt you can do if they don't want to leave or nobody wants them. Once we move on Bailly, Efe, Commons and Cifti then this would free around 60k per week for 2 quality additions. If they can somehow be of the same quality as Moussa and Sinclair then we have the makings of a really amazing team. I get the feeling that Rodgers may now be realising the difficulty in getting players to come to Scotland but reckon the media attention we have received this window with Moussa and Gordon can only help in attracting players going forward. Hopefully Eboue will prove a good signing and I now can't wait for the rest of the season starting with a hard game tomorrow HH

Believable0 Unbelievable1

01 Feb 2017 11:10:54
I can see the clubs - and the managers dilemma. There are several players who are clearly not in the picture at present and will play no part in the team; however they are not keen on taking a pay-cut at a lesser club or even going out on loan to accommodate the club and give them games and unfortunately we have to loan out other players while they bide out their contracts.
