But he wont, he keeps playing them, when clearly they dobt want to play for him or celtic. Lawell should have took any offers in for them, as now they are useless and will not get any decent money for them.

Tin hat time: Christie has been a class player for years! Him wanting away started well before all this mad meltdown. And can you blame him? Signed in 2015 when he looked rubbish hot! Loaned out time and time again-smashing it every time! The guy is amazing and loyal, hasn't had a decent coach to work him in best position. Shoulda been a starter 5 years back and we have stunted his growth. Didn't know what we had and he will now prob go in Jan to a mid table EPL team and end up God knows where. Boy is special and I do think blame him for wanting g away.

If he goes to a mid to low PL team, he will need to change his game drastically. At Celtic, he is in a team that generally has a lot of possession and regularly on the attack. Lower PL teams spend a big chunk of the season backs to the wall defending which is not the strong part of his game.

Is it bad coaching that means he can't cross a ball? He thinks he is better than he is. Takes every free kick and corner but his technique is poor. He runs about, scores a few and creates little. I don't remember him having a good game against them either. He is replaceable.

I run a csc been over the refund thing last season but all 18 books I look after we took the refund. We all renewed this season knowing we most likely wouldn’t get back in. I have 1 member with 4 books lot of money for a dodgy stream. The club are taking us all for mugs gambled on the ten there can be no excuses. This self entitlement bollocks does my head in we are entitled to expect better.

Some of our fans have taken action today.
Action is something our board have showed they’re incapable of doing.
A small minority of Celtic fans have stopped their season ticket instalments.
It must be the fans who have taken the 10 months instalment option.
Also fans are claiming back season ticket money from last season because the deadline is still open.
The board need to realise it’s Us the Fans who run this club and the fans will do whatever’s necessary to take the club forward in the long run.

We were miles ahead when the Sevconians got liquidated and in a serious position of strength and the board, PL and DD have sat back and taken the money and only did what they thought was “ Just enough”. Now we have a legitimate challenge from across the city (even though they pissed their first few years as the new team up the wall) and we are a mess. We were entitled to think that we would stay well ahead of the rest for years to come.

I could go on all day about the problems at the club right now but I am complete shock regarding DD decision to stick by Lennon.

I will not go into the rights and wrongs of Sunday as some people disagree with those fans on the actions taken.

My question to anyone on here is what can we do as a collective support to make the board realise enough is enough. They have the season ticket money and merchandise money so DD and Lawell don't care.

The board could have offered Gordon a better deal to stay as back up, but he turned down the deal as it wasn't good enough but hearts could give him a better deal?
He was a much better keeper than Bain is. Also forster wanted a permanent deal and if the board just moved for him he would have joined.
They didn't sell players due to C.V. and teams not willing to pay top dollar and need to make savings. Lyon are now willing to accept 30 million for dembele whereas last season they wanted nearly double that.

I think Gordon declined an offer of £4K a week to sign a new contract.
If he was on £16k a week in his old contract, he would be taking a 75% wage drop.
I don’t think he will be getting as much as £4K a week at Hearts,
He probably declined the Celtic offer on principle.
I would imagine Celtic will have a budget for first team goalkeepers.
Not many clubs can afford to keep 3 goalkeepers with International experience.
Last season Celtic did but reports mentioned we only had to pay £15k a week for Forster.
Celtic don’t use the goalkeeper as much now with pass backs and that would’ve suited Gordon.

@Rich T all this talk of managers "not touching Celtic job" are well, just rubbish.
Especially in these CV times if Celtic are prepared to offer Rodgers style wages of £2.5m plus bonuses there will be a queue (socially distanced) all down London Road.
Also this talk of managers "scared of losing the Ten" any ambitious manager would jump at the chance, they even have a ready made excuse if they fail "Lennon had caused too much damage too turn it around"

I agree that a lot of managers would like the job; however, I also think that there may be much more choice next summer.
Unless the Board have already identified and made arrangements for a full-time replacement, I would expect a 'caretaker' to step-in.
The Ten is still possible if we stop the rot immediately; but I doubt this will happen under the current regime. The whole club needs a lift and a change of direction to salvage any kind of normality.

This does my head in, the board release titbits about it’s a bit of a poisoned chalice at the minute to certain media and people start believing it. I don’t get why we have to look at such an underwhelming list, apart from Howe which I’m not exactly sure about the list is barely average. Why are we scraping the barrel for a managers list, when Gerrard leaves them, you can guarantee they will have top managers after the job. We know what we have as a club, don’t let the board talk us down when it suits them, then talk us up as an important club when it’s suits them. I get the league isn’t the bundesliga but if you pay the right money you could attract a good manager .

As for today’s opinion, there has been a few reporters saying that not many managers are interested as it’s the ten in a row season, we need someone that knows the club, league etc . That was the point I was making, do the press just come up with the idea that no one would be keen on managing us . I’m not so sure but it’s only an opinion .

Would love a job where i could down tools and collect 20 odd grand a week regardless just because I didn't like the manager. I think maybe lenny has run his course but the players are a disgrace. Right they might not like the manager but play for the fans, earn yourself a move away if that's what they want. Not completely stop until sold. If i was in charge especially in lennys place now id drop anyone who doesn't want to be here play youngsters tell eveyone in the press conference players not playing don't want to be here and they'll be gone in January. There playing for one of the best supported clubs in the world there is not many that will leave for a bigger club, bigger money yes but how many players have left for money then when retired said they wished they had of stayed on. Do you think if 5 or 6 players had told MON, WGS or Rodgers they wanted out, do you think they would still pick them every game?
The players that have been rumoured to want out may very well be 1st team players and better than the other guys in the squad but I would rather tell them to train with the u23 team and pick guys that want to play.
At least they would give 100%
If it then had went wrong, Lennon could have came out ans said "Well I am picking the best players available who want to play for our club"
But he persists with the players he knows have no interest in playing for him.

Totally agree jonbhoy don't know why he continually picks them, i wonder if he's getting told to pick them to keep there value when sold, maybe a club will only buy them if they are match fit and ready. But 100% i would play only committed players if we lose then fair enough but at least they would give it there all. And we would all see who the real let downs are. It looks to me aswell brown has lost control of players his influence isn't as much on the pitch anymore. Others really don't care. Im still hopeful we can get the 10 but if not, the players will go down as the flops.

There have been so many contradictory rumours and reports about how this will pan-out with most of the speculation revolving around an announcement on Wed. I think it's absurd that the three mentioned above are so out of touch with the serious situation we are facing and if they carry-on down this road the SPL will be the next casualty.
