Will not be on tomorrow as at game then family gathering, so posting my spanish football bets tonight on the Clasico.
BTTS and either team to win is 5/ 4
Only BTTS is a skinny 2/ 5
Messi to score and over 2.5 goals is 6/ 4
Messi, Suarez and Ronaldo all to score is now 7/ 1 (decent bet I think)
My now famous penalty bets in Barcelona games will be put on at around 5/ 2 a penalty in game but my other penalty bets of a MISSED penalty in this game has generous odds of 18/ 1 Barcelona miss and 28/ 1 Real miss.

{Ed007's Note - Enjoy your day, Timbo.}

Looking forward to the game tomorrow hopefully we get a good performance and win by a few goals to get the confidence back and put a marker down for the rest of the season.

Rogic must start
Commons on the bench
GMS on the left.

{Ed007's Note - That's what I was saying the other day but I forgot Rogic was in Australia so I'm hoping that he's not tired from the travelling.}

Me too. Mainly because i'm getting chance to get up, but I'm already expecting a cracker tomorrow. I think after the late win at Kilmarnock the international break came at a bit of a bad time, I would have loved us to play a few days after that late win with spirits so high. But Rogic and Johansen have done well whilst away, GMS and McGregor are finding their feet, and Roberts has looked dangerous everytime he has came on. I think we'll have more than enough in attack to entertain, add to that mix the combative game we normally get against Hearts, who can play a bit too, and yeah, I'm excited.

The RHS is my concern
I think Roberts is a player, but hearts will be tough and he may be in for a culture shock. However I reckon a goal for his confidence and he'll be flying.
I am not keen on Forrest at all, and commons is to slow and selfish on the ball. If Rogic starts I would be tempted to play macgregor on the right, and maybe shuffle the pack to bring Roberts on 2nd half. I want to see quick, direct passing, hopefully with all our front 3 showing for the ball. We can often get isolated along the centre line, and with the lack of pace at the back we can get done when a centre midfielder gives away possession. Unfortunately this has been brown for the majority of this season. That being said I'm going for 3-1 us.

{Ed007's Note - I'd start with McGregor or Johansen on the right and have Roberts on the bench with Commons to offer options for a change later on. Keeping in mind Roberts is only a young lad I think he's trying a bit too hard to impress and gets caught taking a man too many on sometimes although I do love his direct approach of getting his head down and running at players. I think you're spot on about him needing a goal to get him really flying, confidence is so important for youngsters to progress.}

I am always disappointed when I see Kris Commons on the team sheet but I usualy get my mind at rest by Commoms scoring a surprise goal, however its a long time since we had a surprise. Goal or any kind of a goal from him .
I would be happy with GMS on left, Johanson in middle and Robert or McGregor.

I'd be happy with GMS, Rogic, Mcgregor with Roberts, Armstrong and Commons coming on later to kill off the game.

Interesting there Ed regarding 'Roberts trying too hard'. I've already had, let's say, a mild apprehension, of him trying to model himself on Messi, but thinking he his Messi. Like you say, somebody with great dribbling ability and pace getting their head down and trying to grab a game by the throat is great to see. It's what you want. But at times I also fear he might try and beat a man too many. You often hear of young players with great natural ability but who need to learn the team game, how to read a game etc. I think right now that may be the case with Roberts. In this run in I think he will be used as a 'super sub' until as Island celt says, he starts getting the goals at least. I think for the rest of this season it's about getting him used to the methods and drills of the team, ready for next. But he'll still have a big part to play in the run in. His ability alone will carry him.
