awrite bhoys n girls groundsman at celtic park can't say to much but shay given is on route to parkhead and as for the king of kings larsson will be cf coach and maby 1 big signing so wait and see when it come out

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

LMFAO, SHAY GIVEN ? he is on route to either Arsenal, QPR or Spurs - but to come to celtic, not won the SPL in 3 years and no european football . but to go to the likes of Arsenal or Spurs and get around 3/ 4/ 5x the salary he would get in the SPL AND be virtually guarnteed CPL/ EL football EVERYYEAR . think he'll be staying in the EPL ;) {Ed007's Note - QPR and Spurs can't guarantee CL football to anyone, and Arsenal are in no position to guarantee anything to anybody. Can't Rangers play Arsenal in the final round of CL qualifiers? I am not saying Given is coming to Celtic, but your argument is futile. Surely McCoist isn't so naive to "guarantee" possible signing targets CL football next year?}

Neil lennon and his full management team have been given 3 year contracts. Will be announced tomorrow before cup final. You bring the rumours, u will supply the facts. . Hail hail

"Realistic" tim

I doubt that mate cos if you look at the last time they gave a manager a three year contract they sacked him after a 4-0 loss to st mirren, which wasnt a full year in charge, and it cost the board a fortune to get rid of him. Also o'neill and strachan worked with one year contracts and renewed it at the end of each season, which is the same deal with lennon, so i really doubt lennon and co will sign a 3 year contract

got to laugh at a so called big club like celtic looking to loan a goalkeeper for next season, big herman munster, doesnt matter about clean sheets, , its points that win prizes {Ed007's Note - Points don't win cups}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The scottish cup is the booby prize ed with all due respect, cl is what matters {Ed007's Note - Of course, if you qualify for it}

Agree0 Disagree0

Got to agree with you ed, i never stated we would qualify but its better to get the chance

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, I see your point but we have a hell of a better chance of qualifying then you lot have {Ed007's Note - I'm not disputing that, I just wish Rangers fans would stop going on as if they have already qualified for the group stages, or do some of them not know they have to play qualifiers?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Why u taking a wee hairy fairy about this ed ? Are u just jealous we have the chance to qualify lolol {Ed007's Note - Not at all, just pointing out facts. Enlighten me on how Rangers can offer CL football to any player? Would you pay for the ticket package just now?}

Agree0 Disagree0

I can't there not on sale yet to buy them :-/ {Ed007's Note - That's because you aren't in it yet!!!}

Agree0 Disagree0

You should all be jealous that we have won it

S**ting myself from jelavic and goodwillie. How many goals did they score between them against celtic this season? 3? Bring it on. Hooper, Stokes, Sammy and a decent target man in the summer. Bye Bye 4 in a row :-)

To be honest i don't see robbie keane or craig bellamy coming to paradise, at least not this season. I mean they could easily play another year in the EPL but perhaps only for bottom of the league teams, although i wouldn't be surprised if they came here for silverware.

Anyways peter wittingham of cardiff linked with a move along with diego biseswar and stokes has had a bust up with lennon so i don't know if he will leave or not but if he does i would presume the championship would be his destination

SORRY BUT COULD YOU EXPLAIN WHAT SILVERWARE HAVE CELTIC WON TO ATTRACT THESE PLAYERS, YOU SAY THEY WILL COME NORTH FOR SILVERWARE BUT CELTIC DONT HAVE ANY ?????????????????????????????????????

There we go, knew it wouldn't be long, , , , , , BELLAMY AND KEANE, , , ha HAHHAH, let it go ffs

Not sure where I heard/ read it but I was under the impression that JP McManus already had a stake in Celtic. Is this right or am I off the mark?
Kevbhoy {Ed007's Note - Dermot Desmond, JP McManus and John Magnier have been in a few business deals together, most notably the 5 star Sandy Lane Hotel in Barbados, and owning shares in Manchester United (which they all sold to the Glazers, Desmond owned a 3% stake in the club). There is no record of McManus having any shares in Celtic or investing any money in the club, although he has been linked with doing so ever since selling his Man Utd shares}

Had a cup of tea today with Beram, he told me a few things but I'm not sharing any of it with any of you because I respect the man too much. Don't believe me? See the Celtic sightings page, also my sister works for the NOTW and you guys posting on here mostly know Sweet Football Administration. {Ed007's Note - Are you citing the NOTW as reliable??}

Did you have a wee cup of tea together at the barbers? Lol

Believable0 Unbelievable1

His sister will know all the new signing's coz obviously her & her pals at the NOWT have hacked everyones phone {Ed007's Note - Or went to Manchester with Tommy Sheridan!}

Chris Maguire is the most over rated player in the SPL at this moment in time.

I live in Aberdeen so know a lot of fans and go a occasional game. He is good at best. Ever since he scored from halfway line he has been going about like he is God's Gift demanding better pay.

He is not Gods Gift and im sure if Celtic did want him, which theyt don't. A scout would be up watching him. BUT Celtic know as well as I do, that sending a scout would be a huge waste of resources.

So don't waste peoples time linking average players to a great club like Celtic.

Celtic are an average team that's why links to average players

Most of Celtic's transfers inwards this summer depends on who will be leaving. Expect a massive clear out.

Leaving;

Rasumssen
Hoivvelt
McGowan
Thompson
Samaras
Loovens
Rogne
Maloney
McGinn
Hinkel (contract ended)
Ljunberg (contract ended)
Forster (loan ended)

I would be very suprised if any of our top players, Kayal Izzy Hooper Ledley etc, were to leave this summer. Only been here one year and understand that Lennon is trying to build and would only go for a huge offer.

In's;

Wilson (done)
Matthews (done)
Westwood (free)
St Ledger (free)
Long
plus one other midfielder

Whats your views on this ed? {Ed007's Note - I agree, I think there will be more players leaving than coming in. The GK situation needs sorting out ASAP, it's ridiculous a club the size of Celtic don't have a recognised No.1. I also think Majstorovic should be heading for the exit door and we should keep a hold of Rogne, he is only 20 and will get better as he gains more experience IMO. A big strong, physical CF should also be looked at, as we do not have anyone with a physical presence up front}

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Any more players you expect to leave? And do you think we have a realistic chance of getting Long/Westwood? If not, who else do you think could be possible targets {Ed007's Note - I think you are there or there abouts with players leaving, I don't expect any of our big name players to leave unless the offer can't be refused. We have as good a chance as anyone in signing Westwood as none of the big clubs in the EPL seem to be interested but I think Long could be out of our reach especially if Reading get promoted. Celtic are supposedly still keeping tabs on Diego "Diogs" Biseswar from Feyenoord, who could be a realistic target considering he only has 1 year left on his contract and the financial situation in the Dutch League}

Agree0 Disagree0

ED why don't u like Majstorovic we, ve had worse {Ed007's Note - I'm not saying we haven't it's just he doesn't fill me with confidence. To look at him you would imagine him to be a big, no nonsense, old fashioned centre half but he is far from that. It's just my opinion of him, that's all}

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Major has done a decent job for us. Ropey early season during the spell of poor home form but has been solid enough since. Deals well with stronger strikers and if first to every ball in the air from punts up field. I also think all of our other central defenders seem to play better alongside him.

His heading at attacking set plays is woeful though. 9 times out of 10 he wins the ball if it's sent to him but very rarely does he get anywhere close to hitting the target. I think he's scored 1 out of probably somewhere around 100 attempts (based on e.g. 2 or 3 corners hitting his head per game as I've seen in a few) this season and that was a free kick.

I'd give him a second season, though whether to keep him longer depends on who else we bring in as we could do better.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree, this majstorovic has done quite well. Not totally solid but i struggle to remember the last one that played for celtic haha, maybe big johann on the bench?

What do you make of that diego diseswar ed? good player? Had a look into him myself and have to admit that he seems like a trouble maker {Ed001's Note - ability is there though, he just needs his head sorted out.}

Celtic In's : Fraser Forster
Garry O'Connor ( depending on the outcome of his police matter)
Goodwillie
Kelvin Wilson ( pre contact )
Adam Matthews ( Pre Cont )

Out's - Rasmussen
Hinkel
Stokes
Loovens
Ljunberg
Murphy
O'Dea
and a few young Fringe players. .

Lenny will sign for another year as every Celtic Manager does. .none of this 3/ 4 year crap that's doing the rounds

Goodwillie will not be at celtic next season as he is only interested in joining the champions! this is fact so start getting used to the idea of Jelavic and Goodwillie destroying u's next season WATP. .

To the Person who wrote:

"Celtic will sell izzy. kayal and hooper to recouperate monies lost for loss of champions league revenue. desond had to foot the money a few years back.mc geadys transfer made up the short fall last year and the 3 players mentioned above should make up the 10 million shortfall for the season ahead."

Thats is absolute nonesense as celtic don't take Champs league money into account for forecasting the years finances plus the mcgeady deal is in installments not a 9m lump sum.

Plus lenny has said "we are trying to build a team not dismantle one!"

You can't be a proper tim lad!

Celtic trying too nip in and get goodwillie ahead of rangers. daily record.

This aint going to happen! now that Rangers have bigger spending power than the other folks and Secondly the guy is an out and out Bluenose. .

Believable1 Unbelievable1

How do you come to the conclusion that Rangers have bigger spending power than Celtic ? Our major shareholder is recognised as a billionaire , no one knows anything about Mr Whyte , no one knows how much money he will ACTUALLY give McCoist to spend , no one knows how the court case with HMRC will go , if Neil wants to spend money on Goodwillie that's up to him , personally i'm looking for better than him .

Daviet, I know all these names aren't coming, but i wouldn't want them here anyway, Ljunberg has been a complete waste of money. I would much rather have guys like Jamesy Forest in the team any day. What do you think of Diouf re signing, i think he is another imposter, but he isn't in my team. I just think there are youngsters in both teams who are a better bet than these guys!
paddybhoy

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Paddybhoy if hes an imposter we will soon no my understanding he is being offered a contract but its not great money average wages at best so if he stays all the stuff about magic club and brilliant fans must have some affect on him big rab by the way

Robbie Keane no chance, loves Celtic but fed up with no protection from referees in Scotland."

And THAT's the reason? Really?

It's the same on our page too. Posts about top Italian stars, Owen, Gattuso, . .God. .etc

Let's be honest about things here. These players are doing a job. They get paid to do a job. Will Bellamy or Keane REALLY take a 70k cut in wages PER WEEK to play for their "boyhood heroes"? Will Gattuso really come back? Will Owen take a trip up North if he still harbours ambitions to make the England squad?

You think?

On our page, we've got folks commenting about cars pulling up at Murray Park with so-and-so inside to start talks. I've no idea who they are talking to as everyone they need to talk to is in Idaho!

Get's on my wick this site sometimes, with the 14-15yo kids playing Pro-Evo, Champo, etc, and trolling away.

Rant over

Peace
