Just wondering see now that St. Mirren have won silverwear would Green not be better bribing them instead of 3rd division teams and merge so there is 2 big teams in Glasgow, forgot he thought about that at beginning of season. But now he could buy a cup as well

Evening news stated TRFC and Celtic colt teams won't be an agenda item for voting on regarding restructuring. So not going to happen.

Is anyone else now becoming increasingly disturbed by this campaign to install Rangers into the SPL? A couple of weeks ago subtle messages were being dropped through the newspapers and broadcast media. Now the pretence is over and colours are being shown. On Clyde it seems fans of Rangers are allowed to distort history on a nightly basis unchecked. First caller tonight, "we were found not guilty in the tax case" YOU were not. The old club lost in over 30% of the cases and there is an ongoing appeal. Guidi constantly carps on about "putting this behind us and moving on" Why?

Forgetting the old club and their past sins for a moment. Why on earth should a NEW CLUB, who rose from the ashes of a liquidated club, be given these considerations? In their short history we have witnessed, Threats to enquiry panel members and their clubs, not helped by their managers rabble rousing rhetoric, marches on (an empty?) Hampden, and their CEO constantly criticize the footballing authorities in Scotland. Their CEO has told us he will go to court to allow them the right to move to the English leagues. He has told us they are the same club, despite him claiming that no CVA meant the original club "would be dead" We have heard sectarian chanting so bad that the TV company covering the game had to issue an on air apology.

I ask again, why are they even being considered for this special treatment? Simple. They need the cash. Green needs to hike the season tickets up and cannot do it in the lower divisions. Add reporters who can see their jobs vanishing, they have nothing to write about, and you have collusion on a grand scale. They claim it is for the good of the game. That we need sly sport money. How about this. If you really are interested in the game, ditch sly sports. Why allow a tawdry TV company to dictate kick off times to suit their coverage of the EPL? Let's start getting back to basics, every club will need to have a stand alone business plan. If this results in Saturday night highlights so be it.

Can it be right that SPL clubs are held hostage to playing Celtic and Rangers four times a season? Finally. Does anyone really think if this was us all this nonsense would be going on? Not a chance. If they allow this then EVERY club should do what Rangers did. Why not? it seems your history is intact and you walk away from a mountain of debt. green jhedi

6pm evening news and no mention whatsoever of Charles Green's big news story today.
I'm sure Jabba having created and released the £4,000 to each club bribery story is backtracking and having the story pulled as a faux pas. Jabba hoping tomorrows news happens soon.

Note for SPL, SFL and SFA and MR Green -

To shut Mr Green up I propose if league reconstruction takes place we simply name the leagues -
Scottish Premier Division/League
Scottish Division 1
Scottish Division 2

there problem solved! your team get to be promoted from Div 3 to Div 2!

Its all just a numbers game to him!

Don't be fooled the Dunfermline owner at any point in the last several years could have put Dunfermline into the position it now stands in. It has always owed money and he has always paid the paltry HMRC bill. I mean £100k ffs. IT'S ALL IN THE TIMING. This is a ploy to leveridge TRFC up the leagues by implying Scottish football needs TRFC in the top division.

HMRC, LLoyds, SDM and BoS/ Masterson, the smoke and Mirrors magicians?

Scottish football is getting all it can out of TRFC and the money is going into grass roots sfl3.

Police confirm NO ONE arrested at the Green Brigade demo was accused of carrying a knife. It seems this nonsense was started on a Rangers website and was advanced by chris graham, he of the "enemies of rangers" web ramblings. Despite this sinister title he seems to be STV's go to guy on all things Rangers. Are we to assume he is the acceptable face of the fans? I suppose after dungball any one might be acceptable. green jhedi

I could have sworn that Jimmy Calderwood admitted that David Murray offered him the Dunfermline job back when. Is anyone else surprised that this story has been ignored by the MSM?

Ever since he started making ridiculous statements charles green has been an endless source of fun and derision for Celtic fans. From deals with Adidas to Dallas Cowboys partnerships, to his club having five million fans, he was treated like a mumbling old uncle in the corner at a party. You could not listen to him all night, but he was harmless in five minute bursts.

But every now and again he would stray to far into dark places. His use of the word bigotry to inflame the fans of his club, when all other fans wanted was the rules applied fairly, was wrong. The wearing of an orange top when in Belfast to stir the natives was wrong. His constant personal attacks on the governing bodies, which would have seen any other chairman in trouble, went unpunished.

A few months ago it emerged that he had offered the Chairman of a club in the lower leagues what amounted to a bribe. In order to gain his vote to help greens club, green offered to buy several hundred season tickets from him. Again this went unchecked by the authorities. Maybe this was because the story emerged from a supporters group meeting in Dubai, who knows.

But the cat is now out the bag. green has now stated " A rangers colts team would add value to the league and other clubs would see their home gates enhanced significantly. I would also be prepared to GUARANTEE OTHER CLUBS THE TICKET REVENUE EQUIVALENT OF THREE HUNDRED RANGERS FANS TURNING UP" Nothing ambiguous there then. A bribe to gain votes for a league system that suits him.

Green knows two things. His manager, his team and the league they play in are poor. He also knows he has to raise revenue, and quick. The fast track is season books. These have to be increased in price, but this is a hard sell if you will be playing in the same league, with eight additions. One thing charles. For this master plan of yours YOU NEED CELTIC. According to CQN there is no appetite for the colts idea at Celtic Park. I would hope not. I think we might have discovered the reason for Malcolm Murray asking for a meeting with pistol Pete. HELP!. green jhedi

Green wants to have a game at Ibrox every week. One week A team next week B team thus robbing SPL teams of away support money. He also wants double cups money revenues. Two products, rip off fans twice and stop opposition getting the away support.

See Green in the press continuing to muddy waters with his B team nonsense, concurring with bluenose Longmuir.
That's already been booted out, why bring it up again?
This time a complete bribe on offer. Surely that's illegal? A £3,000-£4,000 bribe and his team would be playing these guys. That's got to be illegal.
Secondly, does he even have a B squad? Can he afford to operate one?
Thirdly, where do they play home games and cup games? Clashing at home with the first team on league and cup days?
fourth, Does one club have two goes at every cup? When the first team Gets booted out under Ally do the fans and some first team lads start playing for the b team?
This is just an attempt to hijack reconstruction in Scotland and get it postponed for the benefit of rangers.

Hi Ed, haven't been on the site lately because I have recently moved to New Zealand to work and have had no time!
But anyway looking ahead to the summer, I think we could be very busy with ins and outs and a big shake up could take place.
The outs IMO

Hooper - £6-7
Wanyama - 12
Rogne - free
McCourt - free
stokes - free
gershon - loan ends
miku - loan ends
lassad - not sure about his contract situation
Kayal - might go if we got 4-5m
thats 16-17m and 100k roughly in wages

Ins I would like

Austin or Rhodes is a must to replace hooper (with the money we will get for hooper, we should be able to afford one of them no problem)
matej vydra - not sure how much udinese would want but looks very promising. 20yo and 20 goals in the championship this season (just 1 behind rhodes and austin)
georgi milanov - 21yo bulgarian midfielder, 23goals in 96games for litex (has been likened to petrov) shouldn't cost anymore than 2-3m
Kara mbodj - only signed for genk but would be the ideal replacement for wanyama (6ft3 powerhouse and similar style to wanyama)
lewis mcgugan - free, very consistant and championship level, nearly 200 games for forest and still only 23
Aidan white - promising Lb at Leeds, not sure how much he would cost but we badly need a Lb to challenge izzy
Not sure on a CB because a good one is very hard to find but would like to see someone like alberto botia from sevilla. Might be out of our price range but you get what you pay for.

Roughly 7-8 players out and 7-8 in

Celticthomas {Ed013's Note - Welcome back, we hope you have settled in well. We have a new log in system now if you wish to take part where you will be recognised by your name every time you log in and post. I feel Rhodes would cost way too much money after what Blackburn paid, I am sure McGugan has signed a new contract but maybe wrong. Austin will move in the Summer so he could be a great buy and Aidy White is OK, but his career has stopped under Neil Warnock as he is played out of position. He is a very fast LB and should cement that position, he is a liability anywhere else on the pitch, 1 Million would get him}

Just read that Cardiff would want Ledley back if they get into epl but says a bid of 3mill will be enough to get him, that can't be right. I know his contract Is running down but I would think he will be signed to a new one, I would be shocked if not.
Ed what do you think is a realistic/true value for him? I see him as at least 6mill, I think he is worth more though cause he could be our captain and any other clubs captain. Cheers {Ed007's Note - His contract runs to 2014 so I think he will be worth more than £3 million. I expect him to sign a new extended contract on better terms and will still be our player come September.}

well I was wondering how long it would take green to show his hand. first we have longmuir seemingly plucking the colts idea out of nowhere then greens statement and bless there wee souls there in comlete agreement, but mind longmuir came up with this all by himself, if this is allowed we might as well shut up shop. because yhe game will most definetly be up
