20 Jun 2018 16:32:31
The same boots you say?

That’s good enough for me.

Has to be him, I mean it’s not as if they sell them or anything.

Case closed, it’s him. :)

20 Jun 2018 21:37:03
Brendan95 . Are you sure it's the same boots or similar boots.

Evening Ed007 have you managed to use your contacts to get us names for these 3 trialists?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - I've no idea, Gaz but they're only kids.}

19 Jun 2018 22:07:53
Thanks Ed! I am sure we will find out in good time if any of them are any good!

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Jun 2018 22:10:51
"You'll never win anything with kids"

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed007's Note - And they didn't. Utd won the Premier League and FA Cup that season with a team whose average age was 26 years and 137 days (only players who played 10 games or more). Players like Schmeichel, Gary Pallister, Dennis Irwin and Steve Bruce were all in the team and not forgetting Cantona. Roy Keane & Lee Sharpe were both 24 as well. Ryan Giggs was 22 and so technically wasn't a kid either.
It's in football folklore now - like the nonsense about Keane ending Alf-Inge Haalland's career - but probably for the only time in his life Alan Hansen was right in what he said.}

19 Jun 2018 22:14:52
One is a Brazilian and other is Columbian. Not sure about the other one. Wellington Silva is a name being thrown about .

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - That depends who you listen to on Tw@tter.}

19 Jun 2018 23:08:57
Comes from good source. Someone who is good friends with current young player .

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Someone at the Club (Gerry McCulloch) has already confirmed it's 3 Under 19 trialists, Wellington Silva is 25 and the guy that initially said it was him on Tw@tter had to correct himself.
Wellington Silva is also somehow miraculously posting pictures of himself in New York on his social media. I think the person who is a good source and is friendly with a youth player is pulling your leg - or the youth player's a idiot.}

20 Jun 2018 07:15:00
Sorry a said Wellington Silva was a name being thrown around. But a do know there Brazilian and Columbian. I am aware he is 25, I don5 beleave it was him just saying what people were saying .

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - What people were throwing Wellington Silva's name about and where were they doing it?}

20 Jun 2018 09:52:44
What a mean is the Wellington Silva was basically rumours I heard from from Twitter and other people just talking about it. I personally don't think it's true but you never know. But I do know 2 of those boys were Brazilian and Columbian that's from a back up to first team, who trained with them .

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - So we're back to shite on Tw@tter, just as I initially said to you.}

20 Jun 2018 12:01:23
Yes for the Wellington Silva one 100% . but as of the other 2 that is fact, yous will find out about those 3 boys soon enuff and that that one was Brazilian and another is Columbian.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Jun 2018 17:24:00
Wellington Silva is a cool name though.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Jun 2018 21:40:04
There are probably two Wellington Silva and so that covers that little misunderstanding.

New image uploaded to the
Celtic Player Sightings page entitled, Who is this?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

20 Jun 2018 01:09:32
The guy in the first pic looks massive. Bobo mkII.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Jun 2018 10:34:08
Can you imagine bobbo in BR system of playing from the back?
Those crazy runs from the back to the oppositions penalty box
Then staying up as a striker for 5 minutes or so?

What memories

Bobbo’s going to get yeh.

Agree1 Disagree0

20 Jun 2018 11:09:22
I loved big Bobo used to see him in the cube up in Glasgow with Agathe. I am 6’3 so not small at all but Bobo was a unit so he was! Still think the kinda centre half we need beside Ajer. Roll on the start of the season hope the sheep put the newbies in their place or maybe their new under 18’s manager will be amazing? Or he may crash and burn like the previous two false dawns but Murty is waiting in the wings to be caretaker again and complete his own personal treble? 😂.

Alright Eds see if Boyata gets a new deal do u think that will be the CHs all sorted for this forth coming season or is there changes to come?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - I think there will be changes whether Boyata stays or not.}

Found myself raging watching the england game last night, keown and lawrence always having a dig at tunisia! ar$@holes.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

19 Jun 2018 17:35:33
Have to agree with you Brendan95 regarding keown and lawrenson especially the latter, who is awful throw hoddle and for me the worst of them all McCoist all dreadful perfect cure for insomnia all of them.

19 Jun 2018 20:49:48
Fuds one and all. Let the pumping of England commence.

Agree1 Disagree0

19 Jun 2018 20:11:31
oldkilly, strange that you should say that, I actually think McCoist is a pretty good and accurate pundit on TV.

20 Jun 2018 07:51:56
You must be listening with the volume down Bob, the guy is an absolute fud. He was filling in for Alan Brazil last week on Talksport and it was cringeworthy listening. He talks utter mince and backs it up with his cheeky chappie act.
I would rather listen to the wife nagging me.

Here's hoping the 3 trialists we have got turn out to be like neymar, j. rodrigues and any other great usa player haha.

So we have been drawn against Alashkert for CL Qualifier. Fancy our chances, but you never know. Don't know them tbh.

Guys just wanted to thank everyone for their good wishes.
@ArrowH hope your treatment is a success pal, it is also hard trying to remain positive as I can testify from my experience, but family and good friends really help at times like this. I also hope you, like myself, have got great doctors and nurses treating you, our NHS is much maligned but the individual nurses and doctors are second to none.
GET WELL SOON BUDDY.
Mrs T will be back soon so I will just post this before I sign off.
I must have been the only Scot wanting an English win, I had bet on a 2-1 win, Harry Kane two goals and a penalty. Mrs T gave me a telling off as I was shouting and going mad at the telly, and me with my heart condition lol.
Anyway I hope to be back soon, annoying everyone with my jokes and stories, oh and ED007, I have not forgotten your last cheeky post on here, I am planning my revenge as I type ha ha.
Ps with this VAR I have been lumping on a penalty in most games and I think the first ordering off will come today Tuesday. Get on.
Once again thanks everyone, and I hope to be back to posting soon. hail hail.

Sunderland linked with a loan deal for Calvin Miller. Hopefully he goes down there and plays in his natural position. Time BR ditched this plan to make him a left back it has not worked. The lad was voted best youngster on the planet in his natural position time to let him express himself with a ball. His career has stalled with this failed attempt to make him something he isnt. Long term it should be Johnston and Miller fighting it out on the left.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

19 Jun 2018 11:28:32
I agree with you there Stan, it's one of the few small criticisms of BR. I just can't get my head around trying to turn such a promising attacking player into a LB. Especially not when we already have KT.

Agree2 Disagree1

19 Jun 2018 11:37:14
yea think BR got this one wrong, although to be fair even on the ball he just seems a bit short of it. Mcgregor is the example he should be looknig at, might be good for him.

Agree1 Disagree1

20 Jun 2018 21:45:22
If C Miller did become a regular with Celtic, we wouldn't want him to be like Paddy Roberts and have no defensive bones in his body . If he wants to make it he will have to show his defensive abilities .

Ment to post last night but did anyone catch the BBC team after that excuse for a football match the pundits were waxing lyrical about the game. a must have been watching a different game couldn't believe what a was hearing. deary me.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

19 Jun 2018 08:23:38
Mally, that was allegedly the best performance of this world cup.

Agree2 Disagree0

19 Jun 2018 08:41:39
Let them build it up. Then when they get knocked out it will be funny as you know what!

Agree2 Disagree0

19 Jun 2018 09:07:56
They played well for 15-20 minutes and should have been at least three up, after that? not so much. If Tunisia had one direct fast player they might have caused them real trouble, by far the better passing team but just couldn't strike sharply enough.

Agree1 Disagree0

19 Jun 2018 09:19:38
I live in the north east of England and the way they're all going on is like they're nailed on to win the whole thing. I'd love to see big Boyata knock superman Kane about twenty feet up in the air,

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Jun 2018 09:24:55
To be fair to the actual team, they are young with decent players, and Kane is excellent, but the pundits before, during and after completely did my nut in.

Agree1 Disagree0

19 Jun 2018 09:38:45
Agree good 20 mins and then nothing the rest of the performance was overlooked against an awful Tunisian team.

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Jun 2018 09:49:36
Scotlands best 11 would have beaten them last night.

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Jun 2018 10:28:36
In their actual clubs Kane is the only one who is top dog the rest are average at best over paid over hyped wee boys. They aren’t strong enough in defence or midfield but saying that the bigger teams have struggled also Argentina Germany Brazil you never know? Anyway that’s international footie I can’t wait for the real stuff to start again and see what Brendan’s third season melt down will be like as uj would put it? HH make mines a treble treble ⚽️🍀🙂🏆🏆🏆.

I watched the match on RTE ( Irish Television ) funny the plundits on their didn't exactly see England in the same light.
