When will they make a decision about the Scottish Cup?

It’s becoming a farce Tim. They should have done something similar to what we are watching just now done in England.
The Sfa should have scheduled the Semi finals this week with the final next weekend. It would have been a good curtain raiser for the start of the season.
It needs to be played in the year 2020 or it becomes an even bigger farce.
We can’t have the 2020/ 21 league cup final before the 2020 Scottish cup final.
The Sfa are making it hard for themselves because there is potentially 13 European ties and also potentially 7 International games to be played before the end of the year, if Scotland reach the final of the play-offs.
The Sfa want fans at the games for financial reasons but the attendances are going to be limited anyway. It is hardly worth waiting for fans to attend when the stadium will be more than half empty.
They should have just held them this week behind closed doors.
What we don’t want is for them to cancel our league games to finish the Scottish cup.

It's the same for the league. There's plenty of opportunities throughout the better weather when the season starts which would prevent scrambling to find dates at the tail-end due to bad weather.

Bitton for me has to start ahead of Ajer. Elhamed is a class above Frimpong also. This coming season the back 4 has to be Elhamed Bitton Jullien Taylor.

Dembele looked ready for the first team imo. Had some nice touches and passes. Maybe not a starter but definitely a place on the bench and 30 mins off the bench.

If we go into the season with Bitton as a first choice CB then it's gross negligence. If there are question marks over Ajer then go out and bring in a quality CB with all the cash we've got.

Why do we need to buy a qaulity CB when we have one in Bitton? There won't be much movement this window in terms of players coming in. A GK will definitely be signed but after the performance of some of our squad players in France we don't anymore unless players leave.

Kev he has the potential to be a good player but I don't think he is ready for being a no. 1 pick. We another quality CB in for competition. Preferably a left footed one as I don't think its done Ajer any favours playing him there.

I really enjoyed the challenge of the last 2 friendlies. Gives fringe players a chance to see what standards are required.
But and its a big but, we are again just about to start a new campaign with a weaker squad than we finished the last campaign with.
I know there's only been 2 games but has anyone done enough to move up the pecking order.
I like the improvements in PK. looks like he's willing to learn and I think he has took his chance to impress.
However after the first 11 to 14 I think we are quite short in a number of areas.
If pre season games are for fitness and learning then what i have learned is that we still have a lot of work to do in this window.
Obviously we will be working on deals hopefully we will get a few deals done sooner rather than later.

Jungle John Enrico agrees with you. Klimala looks to be getting better with each game.

Great to see the bhoys playing again.

It’s all about fitness and match sharpness at this stage.

We need some defensive reinforcements and keeper and that will put us in good shape for the 10!

Enjoyed the last 20 mins of the game lads. Moi is back to his best his goal will give him a lot of confidence.
Taylor still hoping for him forrest it was like a player short still not sharp enough yet.
Boli I faught for him but done himself no favours last night.
Klamila not to bad some of his hold up play was nervy some very gd.

They put out there A team against us as they have big games coming up we put out most of our C team until the last 20 mins then we put our big guns on everything changed. I think young dumbelle would have been better with better players he could pass too. He needs his chance. But it's hard for Al the young lads if they don't get a chance in first team. Al in All if we played last night game the other way around then added youth maybe a better game. Looking forward to Tuesday just to watch football again.

I found it interesting how Bain got the most playing time out the two games I think we nowhere near getting a new keeper and he’s giving the 1st 11 time with getting used to playing with Bain especially the back 4?
