When you look at the other results today, it shows what an asset it is to be able to grind out results when we are not at our best.
On another note, I wondered what the opinions were on this break in January.
I'm not against the players having a rest, but by cramming the fixtures into December, doesn't it put the players at more risk of injuries?, also for supporters who aren't season ticket holders at their club, it seems to be a lot of extra money to find when it's the most expensive time of the year.
I think that a bit more thought is needed about when to play the January fixtures if this break is to be a benefit for players and fans.

Hard going today and it was obvious we needed LG to make that difference in attack as moussa was struggling without service from both wide men - who were rank today.
Sinky definitely needs a rest as he has struggled all season but he seems undroppable and it puts extra pressure on the superlative KT to do a double shift.
Anyway, it was a very hard won three points against a stuffy defencive team, an awful pitch and a pathetic referee.
Three hard games in a row coming up against Motherwell and I really worry more about the lack of protection against dirty tackles and serious injuries than the results.

Best free kick taker I have ever seen was nakamura but that hit from Griffiths today was up there punching. Even naka would have been proud of that.

Kev-Pierre was the best I've seen in 50 years watching Celtic from a dead ball and better than Posh Spice who played with the Prawn Sandwich corporation but Grifiths free kick today was absolutely world class. If it had been scored in the we are the (PEE) EPL it would be talked about for months! ☘️.

We've been lucky to have seen some great free kick takers over the years. I'll always remember Darius Wdowcyzk's wicked deflection at the St Patrick's day massacre in 1991 or 92. HH.

Jfp1888 though he was good there's no way was Pierre better than naka at free kicks. The one against Manchester United at parkhead was the best I have ever seen.
That was proper postage stamp against one of the best goalies that have played in my life time.

Have to say Naka is the best I have saw in all my time following the Hoops, the 2 against Man U. Amazing.

Even the free kick that won the league, last kick of the ball, the pressure was on. Nakamura definitely one of the best free kick takers, but wee Griffiths isn’t far away either 👍.

I would have said big Pierre as well, it's all a matter of personal choice, no two free kick situations are the same, bad positioning of the goalie, the wall not doing its job, distance and angle, although I liked the way Tommy Gemmell used to batter them.

Naka was top drawer . There is a you tube clip where he hits a dead ball about forty yards into the open window of a moving bus - lol it up boys it won’t disappoint.
PVH scored against the dark side for feynord post Celtic.

I think maybe 2 in the same game to knock them out. One of them was a belter of a free kick.
We’ll probably appreciate LG more after he had left us, such is the way.
John Collins was no slouch at a dead ball either.

Well that was a bit of a struggle today. Fantastic Free kick from Griffiths and worthy of winning any game. Felt the pitch didn't suit our style of play but at the end of the day it's 3 Points.
#64 and counting.

#64 and counting isn't too bad when you consider that the best team in Scotland and most successful team in the Universe can't manage to get past #2 and counting.

Wish griff would stop getting involved in squabbles! These things give the powers that be the opportunity to punish and ban him! They will take any chance to try and hamper us and hold us back 😔.

There is no way they can do Griffiths after letting Jack off.

What do you want him to do and how would you react to it imo he's done nothing wrong.

Don't let the green tinted specs rule. He had a fly kick, the guy flicked his head! Griff then swung him. by the neck! Both had a cling together! We are demolishing all in front on the way to 10 or more! As we get close to equalling our 9 or going for 10? These are the things they will use to stop us and help their adopted love child remain relevant.

I would worry that it is our wet knickers brigade creating mountains out of mole hills that will put us under most pressure.

Defo Chris there's always a small section looking to moan about anything when this amazing run comes to a end don't be surprised to read every player on the park not good enough sack the board sack the manager.

Truth be told it really doesn't matter who they get. They don't have the financial clout to compete with us.
Eck could stabilize them as could McInnis or Wright but they are only really ever going to be competing against the likes of hibs and the dons. Only people that can now stop us reaching 10 is Celtic themselves getting complacent behind the scenes.
I don't think that will ever happen again.

They are literally irrelevant in title race, way things are going they will be lucky to make the split.
