Ed you heard anything about baba diawara coming in January? I would imagine defenders would be a priority but this guy is running riot in a pretty poor team so he would probably do the same in our pretty poor team lol
Kevbhoy {Ed007's Note - It was visa problems that stopped the deal going through. At the time Maritimo said CFC would have priority on the player in January. I have no idea if the visa problems would still be an issue, but we have first refusal on the player if they are.}

was havin a bita banter last nite about terrible rankers players i.e prodan flo berg guivarch an was thinking we had some stinkers 2 i.e scheidt (john barnes regime enuff said) momo sylla regi blinker etc but the ranker told me last nite stephane guivarch had a world cup winners medal,thats insane wen u think about unbeliveable players like best,giggs,johnstone etc who played for countrioes who struggled to qualify never mind win anything...rant over lol i hope ireland do us proud nxt year in euros

How about Ian Andrews, Wayne Biggins,John Dowie,Adam Virgo,Stephane Henchoz ah the list goes on .........
Bosley.

Agree1 Disagree2

Yep yer spot on there mate, sometimes it just depends on what team you play for or in some cases who you sit on the bench for. It's certainly not justified when you see the class players as you mentioned and how poor their country is. Giggs is a classic case he had the opportunity to go and play for England but choose to stay true to his roots and stick with Wales, Surely fully understanding that wales had no chance of winning anything. Mind you England have won as many medals as Estonia going on the past few decades!!
Still good to see there are some players left who put the strip they were over personal glory.
CB67

Agree1 Disagree2

Maciej88 you can't honestly only come up with those players for Celtic can you lol. You are having a laugh? I'm surprised big Derek Johntone never won a World cup aswell lol. Thank God we are back to the real football tomorrow. See all you guys later good night.

Bigirishmac {Ed007's Note - Are you kidding me on here BIM??? I leave that 5shite for Moneypenny to watch, usually go up stairs to the office room. That and that X-factor, Big Brother and that do my nut in big time.}

Have a good nite Mrs E, I enjoyed our wee chat there. Your a cool girl who knows here stuff.
I look forward to hearing from you again.
Ed don't start I was simply complementing her on her footy knowledge!!
You'll get me in trouble i'm engaged (for now) mind you the chances of Miss CB67 reading this are as likely as me going to wearing a "The Shame top" LOL
CB67 {Ed007's Note - Moneypenny reads it sometimes, she like the Wrestling and movies sites, but has a snoop. Her usual comment is 'You'r no right in the heed'. Women eh? Can't live with them and can't live without them (or the dishes just pile up.) :-)

Agree3 Disagree0

Bigirish very disappointed bud I thought you had to have (.)(.) just to be able to watch that carp!!
C'mon bud surely there must be something better to do with your evenings?
Even Mrs E had a pop at you (no slate to Mrs E my point was show is aimed at women and there's one slating you for watching it!!)
All good fun tho, I've seen pics of the eye candy Jess jane or something (names not important shes got some great assets tho LOL!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Yep, very true bud those dishes are a bas!
But whats there to read about wrestling its hard enough to watch it. I've seen Naismith and Lafferty going down like these guys!!
Mind that maybe a future career path esp for lafferty (mind Mulgrew and Lafferty last day of the season just to make sure they would be no game left to play, went down like a bag of tatties) I'll never forgive him or forget that just shows the levels that sc&&bag will go to to win)!!
Yeah the shame lived up to their name that day for sure!!
CB67 {Ed007's Note - The wrestling site is my little baby lol. I have followed it and wrote about it for years, since even before my accident when I started writing/editing much more.}

Agree0 Disagree0

What is it tonight on here Ed? Everyone's talking about TV program's lol. You've got BIM going on about I'm a celebrity and CB67 saying he wouldn't wear a shameless top. I had a Darkside top on years ago could you believe that Ed? But it was a Pink Floyd Darkside of the moon T-Shirt lol. Soz Ed, There's me slagging off something you've spent hours n hours on,just IMO I cant see the attraction to wrestling. When I was a teenager I used to get together with all my buds to chip in for Royal Rumble on box office it was ace, but this was back in the day of the Ultimate warrior and Hulk (the best two ever) what ever happened to the ultimate warrior kinda vanished. IMO nowadays its all too showbizzie but who knows.
Good shout ff81 you had me going there....floyd are still high on my ipod at the moment mind you thinking back I was pretty high whilst listening to the floyd!! Rodger.W is the Man!!

I see it all due to one of the crooks also known as agents, that has been holding up brown signing his contract. This clown of an "agent" is demanding thousands for basically brokering a deal which could be done by a monkey and often is in some cases.
CB67 {Ed007's Note - I said the other day it was the agent fees that were the hold up with the deal. Scott Brown signed a contract with his agent, in that are stipulations concerning the agent's percentage of money he helps Brown earn. The argument (it usually turns out this way) is who is going to pay the agent's fees, the club or the player?}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Ah I see, didn't realize that was the case here. So browns obviously holding out for Celtic to pay this "agent aka moneygrabber"
his 10% or whatever it is, and I suppose you can see browns point is pretty fair. I just hope this gets resolved soon as the last thing I want to see is him walking at the end of the season. Even though my opinion over brown changes game by game almost, I think we'd benefit for having him with us for now.
CB67 {Ed007's Note - I'm a Brown fan. I hope he does get it sorted out.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah Ed i'm a brown fan too his hunger for the game is what we've been lacking all season, but you must admit he hasn't been playing at 100% as he's a very skillful player too (this may be down to the fact he's not playing in the middle where he really wants to be). And after the way the midfield have been playing lately I cant see him getting back to that spot for sometime!! Wanyama and Kayal have been great, I honestly can't see anyway back for Ki at all. As IMO Wanyama gives the team so many more options with him tracking back,getting stuck in and his forward play also, Ki is more a luxury player (in the mold of Nakamura). I think Ki will be sitting down for the foreseeable future then again Lennon rates him bigtime but surely he'll see the best for us is Wanyama and Kayal in the middle esp for these phsyical games such as Motherwell and Caley. The most important thing is that we go up there and get the 3 points, caley is always a hard place to go i'm sure it'll be the same 2moro.

This is just getting F%&^&** stupid now, I think some of the latest injuries have occurred whilst on these pointless international games (ok, no prob's with the play-offs obviously, but the friendlies WHY!!).
But otherwise we have had and are still getting far to many injuries for this to be normal, maybe there was something in this story with the pitches at lennoxtown?
I really can't think as to why we have so many players out, it's literally a full team were missing!! This game with Caley is of the utmost importance we cannot lose this and shouln't either were strong enough without the injured players we have out
C'mon tic get this sorted out.
CB67

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Ed...who are the 10 ? I can only see Mulgrew, Cha, Rogne & Ki.. - Mrs E {Ed007's Note - Mark Wilson, Kelvin Wilson, Izzy, Scott Brown, Bangura and Loovens, I think.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Both south Koreans are very doubtful

Agree0 Disagree0

And guess why both South Koreans are doubtful.........yep the pointless internationals!!

Agree0 Disagree1

INVERNESS v CELTIC TEAM NEWS... No return for Charlie Mulgrew, Glenn Loovens or Ki Sung-Yeung but Joe Ledley is back in the squad for the trip to the Highlands.

EXPECTED LINE UP: Forster, Matthews, Ledley, Majstorovic, Rogne, Kayal, Wanyama, Forrest, Commons, Hooper & Stokes...

Mrs E

Agree1 Disagree1

That still a strong enough team to beat Caley IMO, seems they've just found their form too (first time this season too). Regardless we should be physically strong enough and defo better class players than they have. Great news that Ledley is back I think he's a fantastic player who is very underrated in Scotland and has a great scoring record against them also.
CB67

Agree1 Disagree1

Good post by the way Mrs E

Agree1 Disagree0

Although most reliable sources say there's no way that Rogne will be fit to play?
CB67 {Ed007's Note - He trained today but had strained his hamstring yesterday and the club want him to to go for a scan.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure about Rogne being fit...we do need some physical players, i'm more physical than most of them in current Celtic team & i'm 5ft 3" ! A big Billy McNeill type defender and i'll be happier :) - Mrs E

Agree1 Disagree1

Mrs E if only we could have another Billy Mcneill!! It's what we've been needing for years now. Really hope we go out in Jan and finally buy a big commanding defender, as they're defo out there as the "shame" have proven with Goain (Hate to admit it but he looks like a good player and they got him for 300k i think??)
CB67

Yip...totally agree, Walter Smith could always dig out a Centre Half.

ED007, hope you have the plans well in place for our Celtic site Christmas party? You have the comedy covered with myself, and for a small extra remuneration I will do the music also, I have a new comb and paper. Mrs E being our only woman can do the buffet ( yes I am dicing with death there I know ha ha) Tony and Followfollow81 can be the Pantomime villains to give us all someone to Boo.
We'll make the pantomime a pirate themed one to blend in with your crutches ED007 (sorry, could not resist) Hopefully, wee Pat will be around and can get us the hire of the Sarry Heid at a discounted rate. Further ideas are appreciated. LOL Timalloy
PS names of cocktails too please {Ed007's Note - Well I'm off the Belfast Bombers, Moneypenny says if I drink them again I haven't to bother coming home..........then again, that could be a plan!}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I will rise above that Tim & don't mind the buffet, as long as you like Vodka Jelly (green of course) - Mrs E

Agree0 Disagree0

I like that one Timalloy lol. Wait till Mrs E reads that you will be in crutches if she could get her hands on you lol. Ed what's in a Belfast Bomber? I take it they blow the head off you lol?
Followfollow81 {Ed007's Note - A double shot of whiskey or JD, a double of Baileys and add ice. A Belfast Bomb is a half pint of Guinness (better in a pint glass though), mix a Baileys and Hennessy Cognac in a shot glass, drop the shot glass into the hal pint of Guinness and down it. I also strongly wouldn't recommend drinking Vodka through your eye either, that can be a bit 'iffy' shall we say.}

Aw naw...Christmas night out in The Sarry Heid, drinking the above concoction, Tim asking for George Formby to be played & FF81 wishing the ground would open up..lol - Mrs E {Ed007's Note - That could turn into an interesting evening. I've heard from a very good source (the owner of my local Indian takeaway) that INDIAN hotshots Jeje Lalpekhlua and Sunil Chhetri are scheduled to jet into Scotland next weekend to begin their Rangers trial.

The clubs that the pair are contracted to don't want any money for them. They just want 5 Bombey Bad Boy pot noodles each. Lol. What do you think of that deal?

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Heard we could be missing as many as 10 first team players, these international breaks are harming us more than other teams. See Lennon has said he may change signing policy because of amount of games and long distances travelled. Timalloy

Agree0 Disagree0

I've seen Rod Stewart a few times & am a massive fan but couldn't say which one of his albums is my favourite...prefer his 'best of' albums same with Neil Diamond (my fave). Where do your music preferences lie...can I expect to see the Pogues & Charlie and The Bhoys (am I allowed to say them ED ?) - Mrs E {Ed007's Note - I don't think Charlie and The Bhoys brought out 8-Tracks Mrs E. Tim will be into George Formby and that. Have you noticed how much England coach David Platt is starting to look like George Formby, it's uncanny!!!}

Agree0 Disagree0

VPB Ed's ED is correct there, I had the same problem at my work too. I think it's due to the fact that relatively new websites are not classed as non recognized sites so they class them as untrustworthy then recommend you stay away from them just to be on the safe side. You can get around this if your IT guy is ok he can set your settings so you'll be able to access it,but all depends on your workplace and your IT guy (ie if he's a tool or not)

Kind feel for hearts fans a bit today. Mad vlad has only payed the youths & not the 1st team. I wouldnt be surprised if he pulls the plug on hearts completely. Hopfully we get a sniff at there players ie temeplton etc but thing the EPL will out bid us on wages side of things.

Anyone else think vlad will just pull the plug completely ?

Also another thing, last night the satanta/sky story was spoke about. But see the guy who runs man city, he runs the channel al-jazzea & he wants to buy the tv rights for the EPL I remember reading a few weeks back because he wants the world cup aswell for the 2022 in qutar. So my point basically is, he has the money to offer the EPL a better deal than sky so if that was the case would we get a 'better' deal from sky? I know it's all ifs & buts & would be a few years away but you never know ?

Lenny

Believable0 Unbelievable4

Why should we feel sorry for the scumbos? do you think them and there bigoted support would feel sorry if it was us? no they would only gloat the only thing that would make them happy would be the demise of us and the hibees

Agree1 Disagree1

Templeton,and goalkeeper Kello,would be good signings,if available.

Agree2 Disagree0

1st poster sounded really really bitter ! as a gers man who doesnt normally really give a toss bout hearts i can say i feel some sympathy there, hearts demise would not be good for our league they are one of the better teams and we need as many of them as we can get.

Germinator {Ed007's Note - You mean the reply Germ mate? Lenny's post wasn't bitter IMO....}

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah ed sorry first reply ... opening post was a good one. Can the celtic fans honestly say that they dont look forward to hearts games more than any other game (outwith the OF's)? i wouldnt think so.

Germinator {Ed007's Note - Let's just say I don't have much time for Hearts, as a club or their fans. At least with Rangers you know what you get, not some idiots that say 'sectarianism is a west of Scotland problem' then come out with stuff that is on par (and sometimes worse) than the most bigoted Rangers fan you will meet would come out with.}

Agree1 Disagree0

According to the BBC, there's interest from 2 parties. I think if they get a buyer, Hearts will be well rid of him ! We should take Templeton of their hands though....

Not a lover of the Hearts either & can't say I look forward to the games - Mrs E

Agree0 Disagree0

Very true, it will be a fire sale come January at hearts so I say get in there for Kello (Defo the best goalie in the SPL not including macgregor (spelling?), defo rate kello he's miles better than bigfoot and would defo be cheaper to buy too. Plus templeton and possibly Zaliuskus (spelling again?)
Mon tic get in there before someone else does.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well if your offering Ed.........LOL {Ed007's Note - I'm washing my hair tonight.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope you agree with my Gareth Bale argument CB67... Ed thinks he's 'over-rated', I however, have pointed out that he has a very real ability & can play anywhere on the park. I obviously expect to be proved correct at the end of the season - Mrs E

Some men talk absolute nonsense about football...think they like the idea of being a 'football man' - I had a laugh at a guy who didn't know Celtic had won 9-in-a-row or who James Mcgrory was - how can you support a team in Scotland and not know the basics ppfft

Agree0 Disagree1

Yep you know your stuff Mrs E. As for the G.Bale after last season when he destroyed Inter Milan I thought he was going to go on and just get better, but for me his main problem is consistency. On his day he's unplayable without any question at all, as for the money they quote for him its just ridiculous for someone with his lack of consistency. So overall I'm kind of in the middle, I do think he's a great player but consistency is his major weakness. Sorry Mrs E :(
