Pre season games usual and people are panicking we play I Scotland that was Lyon best team out and lennon wanted to give every body a game so why worry the trophy means nothing it's all about play time it's only a friendly give them a chance as it's been hard they will be ok as they kept going lennon did the right thing.

I'm absolutely disgusted with that tonight. If Peter Lawwell hadn't forced Dembele out the Club behind Rodgers back we could have drew a preseason friendly tonight. 🤬🤬
All these stories about hotels and extending the main stand are just smoke screens to hide the fact that we waste millions of pounds on players not good enough and the time & money on nurturing youth players who lose to the team that finished 3rd in France and are still in the CL.

Boli is an absolute bombscare, he's basically a pacey ambrose. I think Taylor has been a big improvement on boli but we've been spoiled in that LB position the last few years.

It’s plain to see that Boli is never going to be good enough to play for Celtic in any capacity. After the last game against Nice, Boli was the only negative.
Taylor looked good the other night and I would sign an experienced left back to compete with Taylor.

Yeah Boli looks like a fish out of water his positional play and first touch is absolutely murder. Taylor is a real solid player he just doesn't have that burst of pace to beat his man. Agree someone experienced to compete with him is needed. Thought Biton cruised the first hour with a cigar in his mouth. And have to admit I was hiding behind the sofa when Elhamed was clutching his ankle glad to see he carried on though.

I'm surprised the Hickey deal hasn't been done by now, Maybe the interest isn't there anymore. Although Frimpong took all the plaudits last season I've been more impressed with Taylor in pre season.

Aussie, I don't think anyone in this thread has said anything to justify calling them "panty wetters". clearly everyone has stated the glaringly obvious fact that Boli isn't good enough and that Taylor has been performing well. What should we do instead? Overlook the fact he's not good enough for this level and claim he's the next Roberto Carlos?

Could do without this PSG game on Tuesday, it will end up doing more harm than good. That mob are getting themselves finally tuned for the Qtr finals of the CL on the 12th Aug and seem to be using everyone they play for shooting in practice😂😂 If we get a heavy defeat which is very possible, I can see the frenzy many of our own supporters and the media will get themselves into.

The C.V. has deeply influenced our preparation making it three difficult (away) opponents in succession, pre-season, but considering the situation with empty stadia there won't be the intimidating atmosphere; but also, unfortunately no high profile curtain-raiser at Celtic Park. The main thing is to get fitness/ sharpness up to speed.

{Ed007's Note - I'm delighted for him and Leeds, they're a massive club who should be in the Pub League and pushing at the top end of it too. I think Bielsa's different approach to things scared off a lot of English clubs away and the fact he couldn't speak a word of English didn't help his case.

@lawman45 the Hotel, museum and bigger club shop will benefit club for years to come. The museum will attract more visitors to the area. Our hotel and larger club shop will give Celtic extra income every year, it will also give people jobs and improve the whole area.

Guys I understand the whole it will benefit us in the future outlook on things and I'm all for it but in the here and now I'm not getting a sense of urgency from the club to get the players in we need to make this potential historic year one that we can enjoy instead of one where we stumble over the line. Maybe I'm just overthinking things.
