Interesting bit of gossip today. ED, I remember you saying that Ronny had a relationship with Man City hence the loan of Guidetti and Denyer, let me run this by you. Playing golf today with a mate, big jambo but he's okay!, and he was telling me that a guy he knew close to Budge reckons it is a bit deeper than that.

According to him, and his source, man City are very impressed with the Celtic set up.This includes all aspects of the club from youths to board room and see us as potentially a club to use for younger players to gain experience. This is not the one way street it seems as we would have first pick on any player who might not make it at City. It seems this young Argentinian striker is the start.Would, if it is true, this be a good thing? I found it quite interesting after your comments re City and Celtic.

{Ed007's Note - It wouldn't surprise me mate and remember that Pedro's son Mark is chief Scouting and Recruitment Analyst at Manchester City.}

Ah! I was not aware of that. Interesting. Potentially this could be very good, I would think we could tap into there scouting network as well. I suppose a young player who having played for us for one/two years, and if City tell him he has no future there, might just fancy the trophies and Euro football on offer. Cheers ED.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think that the way forward for the next decade or so, could be us acting in the middle, signing young players from smaller clubs mostly in Scotland and England . Those who do exceptionally well could possibly go to city . In the meantime we have city youngsters for a year or two, some may return to city and some may stay with us . It gives us an opportunity to have the best young players around and should lead to exciting times .

Agree0 Disagree0

I haven't heard anything about an Argentinian striker, could anybody shed some light on it? Or is there a link to the story? Cheers.

Agree0 Disagree0

Green Jhedi who is the Argentinian striker mate?

Agree0 Disagree0

A did not know that about Pedro's boy but it makes more sense now we got Biton after he trialled big time with Man City

Am well aware of how RD is regarded by Man City you just have to look at the Mohammed Abdu / Abu? time he took him to Stromsgodset

The player a would have in a heartbeat from Man City dev squad is Brandon Barker a winger with blistering pace / low centre of gravity and scores for fun! There another a can't remember his name but he is Norwegian & seen as the best talent from Norway other than Odegaard he has made it recently to the bench of the first team a goal scoring midfielder

Agree0 Disagree0

If it helps a don't know a argentine striker with man city but there is a midfielder Bruno Zucilini 20 there, he is a midfielder

And @ the under 18s who RD had and sold them to Man City Berant Cellini?(spelling) but he is only 17! but 1 for the future

Agree0 Disagree0

Hopefully we go back in for the boy Araujo? Been scoring and providing this season tearing it up really. Might be starting to live up to his hyped potential a few seasons ago. Not sure how it would work but we'd surely have to only take one or two from City each season. Then perhaps they assist us in getting players, like Araujo, then if they develop and impress then would City still pay us a fee?

Hi hope you are all looking forward to the game tomorrow. Just on to say if the paper talk is true I would not play Guidetti in any game for the rest of the season looks like he has no intention on playing for us after his loan spell. And unlike J Denayer who has a club to go back to I would not let him use us to punt himself to another team

I wouldn't be too worried about what it says in the MSSM in the run up to an important Celtic match . We all know that they will stoop to any depths to try to hinder the Celtic team .
It very much looks as if Celtic won't be too worried about missing out on Guietti if he does go elsewhere as I think he is probably looking for too much money for a squad player.

That's it then. As if I wasn't starting to feel we should just go with Scepovic. Please bring him on against Inter RD!

What are all your thoughts on tomorrow's game, would you take a 0-0 if offered it today? Can we win tomorrow? of course but it will take everybody putting in a shift, including us the fans, how many times have the crowd panicked when we lose an away goal, tomorrow night, IF we fall behind keep backing the team as I am sure we all will, even a 0-1 defeat would not be disastrous, very difficult to overcome over there but we can score in Italy. Our passing and ball retention must be as good as we can get it, in the past we have lost goals by silly, sloppy passes to the opposition. Brown must remain calm and not do something silly like in the Barcelona game, with 11 it will be very hard with 10 men nigh on impossible. For some reason I have a feeling we will at least score hope only us score hail hail

Believable0 Unbelievable5

Timmaloy I wish you could send a copy of what you just said around the ground tomorrow. Be patient and don't panic. Truth is we have been spoiled with the massive scalps we have taken at celtic park over the years so a lot of people just expect to beat teams like inter. Tomorrow is a massive ask no matter how inter are performing domestically. Would we be confident playing Dortmund tomorrow. Of course we wouldn't and look at there league form. Hopefully the crowd scare the life out of them as world class stars like iniesta have admitted has happened to them. I would love and sort of victory. But it's no given we just have to get right behind the team.

Agree0 Disagree0

The magnitude of the task infront of us hasn't hit us all yet . We are playing a world famous club who may have had better seasons but Inter could still beat any team on these islands . I regard tomorrow night's game as a free shot to see how well we are doing under Deila and how much we have to improve . Our aim this season is to win the SPL and other domestic trophies if we can . Europe and the Inter matches are bonuses .

Agree0 Disagree0

Just hope we go into it with confidence and baws. Grab it by the scruff of the neck, get in their faces and give it a go. I'd rather get put out that way than pinning ourselves back and going out anyway. I'm not saying stretch ourselves of course we'll have to be organised, cautious and decisive - but I want to see people trying to beat a man and play the killer pass or make a big run in the hope somebody finds you. Absolutely buzzing about it now.

Agree0 Disagree0

Think defence is the key to success in this game they have to be so allert and not give the ball back to inter in dangerous areas or give silly free kicks away around the box.If they can do that then the crowd can lift the team to give the enormous effort needed to win a game against top European opposition and that's what they are given that their league position belies the fact that they have enormous european experience .If Celtic can play to their potential there's no reason why they can't win if they can keep their concentration levels high .

I see Donati has put the boot into us as we are playing an Italian team. Inter are clear favourites and will beat us on technical and tactical ability and if we was in Serie A we would be mid table as we couldn't compete with the big teams. What's upset him he's usually full of praise for us when interviewed?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - You don't get much more mid-table than sitting 10th in a league of 20 teams which is where Inter are.}

I agree with much that he says, he is right to say that Inter are technically better than Celtic etc.
However despite Inter's superiority I don't believe that we are definite to lose to them .

I have to say, that video of Chelsea fans in vile and an International shaming!

If our Head of State had anything about her, she'd have something to say

The papers say 'Chelsea fans involved in an _incident_ in Paris Metro.' For all its difficulties, Paris is not at all a racist city and I'm surprised this was tolerated by those around. All the fella was doing was what thousands do every hour of the day: squeeze into a crowded train. Imagine is some foreigner came to London and started that kind of thing!

Agree1 Disagree0

Chelsea fans are saying it wasn't them it was a crowd of sevco fans who travelled to Paris with the sole purpose of causing trouble. Kind of like the opposite of Manchester then.

Evening Ed, I noticed a few days back that the site had improved mate the font was much better and the side columns had been tidied up etc.

Just wondered having seen the adage off the classic video premiership games if possible next time round if you an the Ed's would consider creating a link that features all the funny video clips / you tube's etc like the wee foreign laughing man, the penny arcade one, the wee piano playing man etc the reason am suggesting is a have been showing that last one all weekend

It would be great to have them all in one place a think to show guests/family when they visit etc

I know the income from the adverts is necessary for you guys so even if you linked an advert before they started say or before the next one started might be even be beneficial to you?

Just feel you never really get tired of looking at these things an there is always someone to show it am sure everybody would agree on that :-)

Even my Mrs was laughing at me laughin' and had to see what all the fuss was about

Just a suggestion mate (y) because they disappear far to soon
