I'm sitting here watching this Chelsea and Manchester United game and flap me is it really that better than the SPFL?

I don't really care who wins here so I'm watching it as a neutral looking to be entertained and it just isn't there.

Thinking back I can't remember any stand out game I've watched from the epl this season.

All that money and the product is garbage, at least we have the excuse of being skint for our league being gash.

AHI just come on here tonight to share my thoughts on that excuse for a match and I feel like I've just read my own thoughts on the game ha ha. I sat and watched 90 mins of that. If that was Ross co v St mirren I would've given it less than 5. If sky want to pay a billion for that then there welcome to it. But like I keep saying they know how to sell a product in England. They know how to talk up there own game. We can't even organise end of season fixtures. We have a pair of idiots running the spfl and the sfa and as long as they still have a job our game will remain without sponsorship, TV money and credibility

Well I was a bigger idiot than my friends , A H and Garrybhoy 1888 as I watched Southampton V Stoke City which was a total appalling game and really the 1000's of fans who pay money on a regular basis to watch the like of what these teams serve up really victims of day light robbery , if they expect to be entertained .
Money doesn't bring better entertainment on the football pitch .

There is some reports that JG is looking for as much as 60k a week from Feyenoord if that is true he is widely of the mark as far as his talent lies he must realise that clubs like Celtic and Feyenoord have to ad hear to budgets and not live in fantasy land like in England with the Sky deal even though we are part of the UK to SPFL or SFA can't get a decent deal from them time for change there to I think. With the recent blunders from Doncaster I am still amazed that man is still in a job

Surely the Hibs result will knock any complacency out of us, Hibs had 70% possession but lacked composure in their penalty box, yes and they had some bad luck also, but in a knockout tie when you lose the first goal panic tends to set in, I think we are better prepared these days if we lose a goal and hopefully we will keep our composure, if we do we will win to go into the final. hail hail

Timalloy, I have nothing against Hibs but I was hoping Falkirk would win. I'm not generally superstitious but - I didn't fancy Hibs breaking their 100 year odd hoodoo against us!
As for the game I felt Hibs played like us at times, dominated the possession but last quarter of the pitch, must do better.
They lacked urgency, upping the tempo from the outset is required, don't wait til you are a goal behind. I hope Celtic go flat out tomorrow right from the get go and win this before half time.

Looking at the tough work Arsenal who are consistently in the top four in the EPL made over beating Reading who are inconsistent whatever league they are in proves that every game must be treated with proper respect .
Arsenal seemed to be just ever so slightly off the pace today and in the end it took a tragic blunder from the Reading goalkeeper to get Arsenal through . I certainly hope we start off in the right frame of mind and keep it that way .

Hi Ed, was just wondering if you knew of any players we might have been watching in the development game against Man City?

With Stokes suspended tomorrow can anyone else expect to see 442 after Wednesdays game

Maybes late on if we're chasing. We'll stick to our quite loose 4-2-3-1. Griffiths in for Guidetti. GMS, possibly Armstrong in for Stokes.

Both cup tied that's why I think we will go 442 or play Griffith's out wide

Had a howler there then haven't I. Griffiths in where Stokes would be then I reckon. It'll be our usual shape but it is quite loose. No doubt Griffiths will be running across the line as he does and at times we will be two up but I still think its important to start games in the shape we're adopting in Europe.

We are actually down neat to the bare minimum tomorrow , I thought Johannson was limping before coming off near the end on Wednesday.
We need him .
