The thought of kids like this suffering while a bunch off toffs pour Billions down a drain makes me physically sick. This kid is an inspiration to us all.

Are we really looking at Richard Steadman? I thought we were done with players from the English league's? I can't say I have seen the guy play, is he any good? The wolves fans are claiming that joining us would be a step back lol. Apparently we are a small club and they aren't haha. They remind me of sevco, one diddy league win and they think they are world beaters.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

And just like sevco they are under the impression they are a big club.

Agree0 Disagree0

The wee bit I know about him I like .

Agree0 Disagree0

He played his part in wolves being relegated to the championship, then again to league one, enough said.

Would you keep Neil Lennon at Celtic Park next season?

Off-field issues aside, he hasn't done a Great job. The Minimum we should be expecting is either:-

A) A treble

or

B) A double with a good european run

ONCE in his 4 year tenure have any of these happened, which to me is not good enough

Ross County(caretaker), Braga, Utrecht, Rangers, Sion(still beat us, even though they got kicked out), Kilmarnock, Hearts, St. Mirren, Morton and Aberdeen have all beaten us in knockout competition under his guidance.

His inability to change things up when needed is also alarming. his idea of a positive sub, is taking off a midfielder for a centre-half, and moving Mulgrew into midfield. he seems to have to accommodate Charlie, Forrest, and Stokes when ever they are even 50% fit, rather than give fringe/youth a decent run

I wouldn't be sad to see him go, the question is, who would the board want, and who would they pay for?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

This question keeps coming up and is a very difficult one.For me he probably deserves next season, I think we owe him that for the off field stuff, but things must change.

He seems to have the same attitude that Martin O'Neill had, namely a reluctance to freshen his teams up.Squads are there for a reason, if a player is tiring or has a run of poor form there should be a ready made replacement to step in.

There is also tactics. When he first started I thought he looked like a forward thinking coach who changed shape as the game progressed, that was sadly lacking last year.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lennon is not perfect, but we could easily get worse . I think he is getting a good team together and are not far from having a team fit to do a job in Europe next season .

Agree0 Disagree0

@Chris02; That's the whole point mate.Does not matter a jot who the personnel are if Lennon persists with playing his favoured few. There is no point naming them, we all know who they are, but how many times have we watched good displays only for the team to be altered to accommodate the favoured few?

There is also the tactics side of things. We need to be sharper and move up field quicker, the league and Europe should not alter our style, we need to develop a trusted system and stick to it.My choice would be 4-2-3-1.The problem is playing players who cannot cope with this.

Agree0 Disagree0

Have heard from a few sources that if Lennon does decide to go then Steve Clarke is the man to take charge. I personally think that If Lennon has the drive for one a real go at a treble to pushing further in Europe then I'll be happy to see him stay

Agree0 Disagree0

Not wanting to be argumentative but I think most good managers have a group of players that they tend to nearly always pick, it's because they trust and rely on these players who they believe will never let them down

Agree0 Disagree0

I can't believe this post, Lennon deserves the opportunity to face Rangers again and maybe he will get more backing from the board than he is getting at the moment, we will win the treble next season that is a certainty, hopefully do well in the champions league as well, Lennon's not the problem, the board is.

Agree0 Disagree0

@Chris02; I see your point but that cannot be said for Lenny's favourites. The way he talks about Forrest is ridiculous, Charlie has been found wanting in lots of games and Sammi should not really be in the squad if he is going.

Agree0 Disagree0

@Maestro08 c'mon mate wake up and smell the coffee.Lenny has been found wanting as much as any player in Europe. A treble is a certainty? Would you really put money on that? There is no way his domestic cup record can be defended. And by the way we cannot face rangers AGAIN.The rangers we played died the next time we play THE rangers will be the first meeting of the clubs and I hope Celtic make this public.

Agree0 Disagree0

Maestro how can u say he deserves the opportunity 2 face rangers lmfao. What the fk does that wee team have 2 do with lennon staying or not

Agree0 Disagree0

Well everyone knows I'm a huge Sammy fan, but even I agree he should be no were near the first team if he is leaving. I'd rather see fridgejohhnson or whatever his name is getting a start or balde. Lenny does deserve one more season to prove the majority of us wrong. Today's team selection has really let me down. Why not play pukki and balde up front? League's won, rest our first tram and get young guys blooded it might even save us money in the transfer window

Agree0 Disagree0

I think we need to have a shake up with fresh ideas all through the club.
We are tactically inept in many big games - especially in Europe - an NL is not learning from his mistakes.
We need more pace and creativity in the team as we are very predictable.
The management team lacks spark, initiative and personality and we have failed to dominate Scotland and progress in the CL as much as we should have under the circumstances.
One of my major concerns has been the amount of young players loaned out after the club bending over backwards to secure the signatures of all these promising stars?
The transfer business in this current season has also left more questions than answers with Boerighter, Balde and Pukki in particular being ignored.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its really easy to write Negatives about Lennon and his scouts and some of the players bought in . However to nominate someone else, who has iexperience and hasn't been a failure elsewhere who could completely revamp the Celtic training and scouting system and give us a team that at a minimum gets us a last 16 place in Europe and at the same time produces a profit for the club to protect us against unforeseen future financial circumstances .
That's the type of man we all would want .

Agree0 Disagree0

We might end up with David Moyes, Steve Round and Jimmy Lumsden if Lenny leaves lol.
