From sfl website:
Airdrie
Club Honours
Formerly Clydebank

League Champions: Second Division 1975/76, 2003/04
SFL Challenge Cup: 2008/09 (ALBA Challenge Cup)

SDM didn't forgive the old Airdrie's debt. They were liquidated.
Clydebank used the old Airdrie (onians) stadium, called themselves Airdrie but don't have Airdrie's history. They have clydebanks history cause Airdrie (onians) was LIQUIDATED.

Why does the SFL list TRFC as having old RFC history? As old RFC was LIQUIDATED?

On the selling of sevco season tickets under the banner of Scotland's, Europe's and The World's most successful club, did trading standards get Ibrox to send them endorsements from SFA, UEFA and FIFA on that?

No? Will trading standards be bringing charges?

What about claiming another club's 54 titles and 140 years of history? Trading standards getting involved there?

Lennon: We've lost Scotland's second biggest club, we can't lose the third

Well said Neil, hear hear. Losing Hearts looks probable and not nice for the SPL but rules are rules.

Is Craig Mather still an agent? I remember Green bleating on about young players from his agency when he named him as an investor. If so this is against SFA and UEFA rules apparently. No doubt the SFA will spring into action and act accordingly. green jhedi

Has BDO passed Nimmo smiths £250k fine over to newco as a footballing debt?
Has newco paid the £200k QC fees for the walk away TUPE players?
Has Nimmo smith passed his bill to newco for £200k for the titles investigation?
Has newco paid Orlit £400k yet?

I saw recently Aiden McGeady was suspended for violent conduct after a game in Moscow.
Maybe frustration and angling for a route out of Russia There was talk of him moving in January to England as he seems very unsettled and maybe homesick?
He had his faults on and off the park, but he was a match winner and entertainer and I wondered if anyone would like to see him back in the Hoops?
Just thought I'd toss it in after I saw posts about Griffiths, Skippy and even effin Naismith being linked?

hi any transfer news I would like to see a couple of big names if our star players leave (wanyama hooper etc) but if we were to hold on to our best I would be happy just to see one or two additions in defence, a playmaker, and perhaps a striker to keep hooper on his toes?

hi guys. I realise that there might be a long shot in getting this posted but i'm a gers fan. i'd just like to add my little bit into the arguement of same club different club agenda. I may be totally wrong iv no idea but haven't seen anyone bring up this point.
According to uefa's co-efficients there is only one rangers in the list and they have reacked up a minimal score for this year (obv from not playing). If that team were liquidated then they are no longer a club surely so I would have thought they would be taken out?
cheers

regarding GUIDI on ssb there are 3 statements available to confirm new club status.
1/ cg on 14/6/12 quote "after rejection of cva the club is dead finished all history gone all staff transfer to my new club forthwith"

2/Sir no surname 15/06/12 quote " I have refused the offer from cg to join the new club as I have no affiliation with the new club however I wish the new club all the success in the future"

3/Paul Clark D&P 30/10/12 quote "Following the liquidation of rfc today both uefa and fifa recognise The Rangers FC as a new member club to join both organisations in the future when all relevant criteria is met"

All available on the internet {Ed007's Note - Throw in these two:

James Traynor: "They'll slip into liquidation within the next couple of weeks with a new company emerging but 140 years of history, triumph and tears, will have ended... No matter how Charles Green attempts to dress it up, a newco equals a new club. When the CVA was thrown out Rangers as we know them died."

Richard Gough: "The club I gave blood, sweat and tears for is dead. Whose fault is it? I don't care."

Ed what's your thoughts on our approach during the upcoming transfer window, do you think it will be the same as last summer where we wait til Champions League football is secured before we bring many players in? If we are only going to bring one player in for the qualifiers like last season (Forster) then I hope its a centre back!

LM67 {Ed007's Note - With the money earned there should be no need to need for CL group stage qualification, quite the opposite IMO. I'm hoping the board back NL this window and get at least 2/3 of his main targets in to help ensure the qualification. The ball is in the board's court, hopefully they won't let the manager down again.}

Sit back and relax, as I scribe you a story
About a dead team, who tried to buy glory
The prize that they craved, had already been won
It was May 67, and the score was 2-1

Many years passed, but they all passed in vain
Enough, the fans shouted, we can't take this pain
Their patience grew thin, and in such a hurry
They latched onto the dreams, of "Sir" David Murray

The envy it grew, in the green of their eyes
What must we do, to win Europes top prize
The solution was simple, big cash we will spend
Just as long as the banks, continue to lend

But the prize was elusive, and up ratched the heat
So they did what they do best, and decided to cheat
We need better players, were just one of their groans
And thus hatched the plan, of the EBT loans

Along came the gascoine, the laudrup, the Klos
But very few knew, that they ran at a loss
Their fans in a frenzy, not much longer they said
If only they knew, that soon theyd be dead

Their fans were sold stories, of five and ten pounds
And super casinos, will be built in the grounds
How can we fail, went the cry, and the shout
Now that we have such big, financial clout

The seasons they came, and the seasons they went
And nobody knew, how much money was spent
But nobody cared, as the team grew in size
The debts they got bigger, in the chase for the prize

The media bowed, and knelt at his knee
With succulant lamb, and red wine for free
The journalists feasted, and were told what to write
But nobody knew, that the end was in sight

But the prize was not willing, to be released
As the replica sat, in the ground in the East
Their anger it grew, as their debts did the same
In their hunt for the prize, of the beautiful game

The last dice were thrown, by the banks of the land
As they finally drew, a line in the sand
Their chase is now over, and what's left to be said
Is The Rangers are no more, The Rangers are dead.
