Just reading there about the Wee guy James Maddison that was on loan at the sheep a while back, apparently Southampton and Leicester have bid in the region of 22 million pound for this lad! Unbelievable honestly! A decent season in the English championship and now worth over 20 million! Yet dembele who’s scored goals for fun for the French under 21s, scored in the champions league and helped us to back to back treble supposedly isn’t worth much according to some! Aww and scored in double figures in the English championship when he was 18 to by the way! Bonkers down there!

Aye your rite there kev! Lol. niall it’s bonkers mate! This boy has had one decent season and he’s worth 22 million! No doubt the boys got to have something about him but for gods sake! English football is ruining the game by the way. i know these other big countries spend money to, but u wouldn’t find any team battling relegation in these countries spending that money and throwing round 100 grand a week as If it’s nothing! It’s rite through English football and it makes me sick! Sorry for the rant lads, just pisses me off! Lol.

I always compare players to our own squad. Not seen enough of Maddison but in the games against us he didn’t stand out.
Reading today about Jack Wiltshire. Options are move to West Ham or sign a £116k a week contract at Arsenal where he knows he won’t be first choice and has been told that by the manager. £116k a week to sit on the bench?

First games and all but i fear engerland might have a right good tournament here. Noticeably very little trumpeting of how they will win it, Southgate seems very grounded, but i think they will do well.
Of course one win and there off!

Kept an eye on the boy Schar for the Swiss, looked pretty good with good composure on the ball. I remember he was linked, unless it's paper pi55.

He looked really good tonight. ITV pundits mentioned him in the post-match discussion so probably EPL bound.
The right back who came on - Lang - also looked solid. And I thought the Iceland left back looked good too - can play centre back too so could be good cover - but rumours he is of to CSKA Moscow, so probably too late there.
Shows how badly we need a right back, centre half and cover at left back that i’ve focused on those positions when watching games with the “less glamorous” teams.

Cannot stand the lot of them mate! Just makes it all the better when there team gets pumped out as per usual! Seeing there arrogant faces trying to make there usual exuses! Would love nothing more than for them to get put out in the group stage!

It's unbelievable that a squad with the quality of Belgium have a complete diddy like Martinez in charge of them but they should be too strong for the English and we all know Dedryck will have no problem sorting out Harry Kane.}

Think there is a lot of young Scottish talent about to break through, at least Strachan is gone, (hallelujah) , and these young guys might get a chance under McLeish, but I will wait and see, as for the world cup, I think I will put my money on Spain.
