So, in terms of the January window, clearly a striker is top of our priority list and we need that player to come in and rotate consistently with Edouard. In my opinion if Ntcham leaves then that may pave the way for Wanyama and gives excuse for the transfer. I don't think we will bring many others in. I think we'll see a good chunk leave in terms of stragglers and potentially see a Centre Back. We have Elhamed/ Bitton/ Ajer/ Jullien at present. Elhamed is seen as a right back and competition between him and Frimpong is healthy. They need to compete to challenge for a spot. That leaves us with 3, if two of them get injured thenwe could have a potential crisis on our hands in terms of defence. Seen it happen at Man City. Maybe we will prepare for this outcome. What's everyone else's thoughts.

We also have Jozo too when fit.

What’s happened to Simonovic?

He is looking for a good striker it's on the radar griff will get play time bayo has no chance he has two left feet but he got some names in the hat there is few making there way out as well so the squad will get another couple players in Jan.

Jozo spends more time injured than fit. His time should be up.

Striker has to be absolute no. 1 priority. We have all our eggs in the one basket with Eddie which was all to evident against the Klan.

I forgot Jozo existed that’s how long he’s been out for.

Deffo a striker bayo the odd time he's fit hasn't looked too clever jozo only plays 3 months a year so that might be another position we look at.

The success of julian, Ajer and Bitton in the centre has led to simo moving out the picture.

Before with his injuries the lack of alternative options made us all want him to stay, but now we have better replacements we can afford him to move on and either replace or develop youngsters.

IC the fact he's never fit has led to him being out the picture. If he had been it's pretty sure he'd have played before bitton.

A striker. A fit Cente Half Wanyana and Big Fraser to sign up in the summer would be ideal.

Both Celtic and Servco have played the same amount of games so far how come Celtic have an extra game before the break than Servco? I see it's supposed to be a rearranged game surely Servco must have one also given that we have played the same amount of games?

Why was the game rearranged Tony?

17 Dec 2019 21:55:20
Rangers would have played their rearranged game tomorrow if they didn't have a game this Friday night.

But why were they Fri and not sat so they could play tomorrow. although it could work for us.

The fixture list often raises dubious queries and suspicion; but as long as we keep up this amazing run of results and win every game before the well-deserved break, we will overcome.

Is it not for the telly mally?

18 Dec 2019 12:49:34
Come on guys as usual the "random" "impartial" fixture computer worked by the man with the orange sash and wearing his apron above his rolled up trouser leg has come up with these fixtures.
But it will work against sevco IF we win tonight and go 5 points clear, then go into last game at Celtic Park against them with minimum 5 points lead then all the pressure reverts back to Sevco.

The game on Friday will be on the telly so couldn't be moved to accommodate a mid week fixture.

It was Celtic who chose the date, probably want the points in the bag before the break.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Dec 2019 14:51:22
Gives us a chance to go 8 points clear by the break. Mentally that's a strong position to be in. If this happens and they punt Morelos early in January they'll be rioting.

Just back on gingerly after the celebrations of the last week and catching up on posts and life. Lots of respect to you Ed007 for what you've gone through. My hangover comes second to what you've gone through mate.

{Ed007's Note - Thanks mate. The one thing I don't miss about drinking is the hangovers lol.}

17 Dec 2019 17:58:53
Ed, I think well I know I've missed something but unaware you have had or have an issue. Anyway I seriously hope everything is on the positive side and I just want to thank you for your sterling service to the site.

The way things are going we'll soon be putting up christmas trees before we've even celebrated orangefest! Before the window's even open we're linked with players from Africa, South America and even Stoke. I hate knowing what gifts I'm getting as I like surprises. Celtic surprised us in the last window. Looked like they were going to get the business done early and then it all went quiet for what seemed a life time and on the last day Celtic surprised us with Jeremie, and what a lovely surprise it was. For sure there will be plenty of moaning etc during the window (hope you have stockpiled the aspirin Ed) but in the end Im hopeful for another pleasant surprise for 2020.

{Ed007's Note - The good thing is that the window is only open for a month.}

Has there been any indication that we will go back in for Turner or do you think that's died a death?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Turnbull? Yes I think we'll be back but it'll depend on his fitness/recovery whether it'll be January or the summer.}

17 Dec 2019 17:45:46
'Turner' wtf? ha ha ha. That's what ma family call me havin a 'senior moment'. Cheers Ed.

18 Dec 2019 12:44:28
what's the paddy roberts situ ed? LOL!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I don't think Roberts has started game for Norwich. He really needs to get a permanent move away from City to get his career back on track. I'd be really surprised if Celtic had any interest in him now though stranger things have happened and we do still have close links with City through Lawwell's lad.}
