You would not give them McCourt if it were to get Rhodes? If that is the case your off your head! McCourt is not good enough for Celtic and would gladly give him them even 1mill would be great to get for him.

How is McCourt a hero? Because he is Irish? I like him and all but he is not Celtic class, he is never up to it and 1 in5 getting past someone is no good. If you and others like you want to keep McCourt you better not be on here and complain about transfers. Cause it is stupid(yet good song) songs of keeping McCourt that forces the hand of the club because they won't sell if he is a fan favorit, he is a waste of a squad spot and would love someone new in or give it to a youth player.

To be quite honest with you, I'll be delighted if we can sign a quality striker before the end of the transfer window. Unlike some fans, I'm not actually overly concerned about the defence. We have sufficient cover and last season had one of the best defensive lines in Europe.

Hi all, I think we should keep ki for our european run, I know we need to sell to buy but IMO I'd rather take the cash for Izzy as he's not been the same.

Ive said on here before the days of cracking players coming to scotland are over. firstly we cannot afford them (fee wages)secondly thanks to the embarrassing events with regards to rangers and the ruling bodies our league is a joke who would want to play here.

has it ever dawned on celtic fans that these players you sign for pittance and claim to be worth £8m etc arent really worth £8m and this is the reason they are not selling? izzy was worth £10m, Kayal £10m Ki 10m, where are the bids to substantiate this? there is none as they are not worth this!!!

Same old story from celtic,we r in a great position 2 spend and nail a champion league spot and give us a great season even without the shame,but as usual celtic gona try n go with wat they've got to make max profit.we r not gona make an impact in europe at any level with that defence,we made the same mistake a few years ago and lost the league..plz celtic dont make the same mistake and xost us a wonderful season

p.s. i think we miss a guy like majic or jvoh upfront. i mean im not asking for another henke, just someone of that caliber. problem is players are more generic these days all coming through training systems looking just like the next guy with pink boots and love and peace wristbands. get a big serbian who eats raw steak for brekkie or someone who oozes the european class like a swiss guy or croatian or something.

340 games 200 goals that's a good record I would take nokola zigic I know he's not done that well down south but he would be better than murphy but I still would have Jordan Rhodes :)

Joe Ledley wasn't a gem we found mate. He was highly rated and had many options, stoke, everton and Roma I seem to remember so the lure of Celtic is still a massive plus. Keep the faith
