The gift that keeps giving (chapter 2).
Just heard on the wireless that Barry Ferguson wants to manage Sevco.
If there is a thicker manager than Sally then step forward Barry both are not the sharpest pencils around, I can just see all the Sevco fans emigrating as we speak lol
On another note it was suggested on Snyde that David Murray could get involved again with the club, yes the same Mr Murray who got them in all this mess to begin with.
Hope you can read this post OK as my jelly and ice cream is melting all over the keyboard lol lol lol

Best bit for me was Guidi claiming MIH are in good shape! They are selling anything that is not screwed down to pay massive debt.He did call him Minty Moonbeams it seems.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hilarious! Just look at the latest thread over on Sevco rumours, they're now debating whether to have moonbeams back or not!
You couldn't make this up!

Barry Ferguson and Bob Malcolm are doing a great job at Blackpool, a great job at getting them relegated. I think they've got a 10% win ratio from 20 games or something haha!

The gift that keeps giving .
We all know the ex bears are poor at arithmetic etc but a poster on the Z site has just posted this.
"In today's papers it states that Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool have wage bills of £5m, £4m and £3m but does not mention our wage bill of £7m"
Sadly before posting he neglected to ascertain that these figures were PER WEEK for the English clubs but PER YEAR for Sevco.

If they really think duds like Cribari, Daly + Mohsni are paid on par with Suarez, Gerrard, Mata, Hazard, etc then they really are dumber than they look!

{Ed007's Note - I had a look to see for myself and he is back arguing his point! I blame the scho... ach you know the rest.}

ED007 and Hamiltonbhoy yes he is arguing back at me, I do not have the heart to reply, God love him, my arithmetic was also wrong as I said it the club's weekly wage bill when in fact it is certain players earning that a week which makes final yearly figures astronomical.
But it shows most ex bears still think paying big wages is OK and they should be on a par with EPL wages.

In today's press it says Celtic will play Liverpool in a friendly in Mauritious on May 18.
I thought Lennon wanted his squad to get as much break time as possible before CL qualifiers start in early July.
Celtic will need to come back for pre season some time around 15th June to get up to speed for these qualifiers. So if they are lucky players will get 3/4 week holiday.
Although it sounds a nice break, and probably a good earner also, I feel Celtic should not be playing any game after season ends as these CL qualifiers will define our season.

Totally agree Tim the top players should be starting their summer holidays before the season ends so they get a good rest and are ready for World Cup and champ league qualifiers. The only reason I mention the World Cup is because efe and izzy will be fatigued for season starting if they don't get a break regardless of what they say. More money will be made qualifying for cl than playing in Mauritius

Scout was at benfica vs Porto last night along with other scouts from British teams such as Chelsea, Liverpool, Man Utd, West Brom and Watford. Filip Djuricic was on the bench and didn't get on, so I dunno if it's him, maybe the scout went along to watch him not knowing he'll be on the bench? Looks a good player too

The Daily Fail says Moyes was in Portugal to watch Porto's Eliaquim Mangala, Jackson Martinez and Benfica's Guilherme Siqueira who's on loan from Granada. So that doesn't really narrow it down!

So of the 4 who left us this season, Ledley, Hooper, Vic & Wilson who do you think has made the most successful move, or do you really care?.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Rule out Wilson straight away, he's hardly kicked a ball since he went back to Forest. Vic's season started well but he's faded away a bit lately. Hooper's only managed a handful of goals in the Premier League + been subbed nearly every time he's forced his way in to the Starting XI for Norwich. It's early days for Ledley, but he's managed a few goals and assists since joining Palace + getting played in his favoured attacking mid position!

Agree0 Disagree0

No really 2 fussed but at the moment it's defo ledley for me even though he only left in jan
