I know this isnt the rumours page but...the word is panoramma is doing an expose on craig white and his companies dealings, the white knight is trying at the moment to get the show (due to be aired about the 20th of this month) banned. {Ed003's Note - Can you ask him to see if he can get eastenders banned aswell }

Think its time our team took a good look at themselves. They are paid professionals ( apparently) and almost all to a man are performing nowhere near their true potential or ability limit. Who knows the manner in which they turned a game around that was pretty much certain to be an embarassing defeat could give them a punt up the rear. But how many of those have we had already.

It is more apparent each week there is more than meets the eye in the background, and that it is being dealt with in house. commons probably at the centre of it. IF there is an unsettling force in the changng room it has to be moved on, if it is Lennon then he has lost the dressing room and hsas to go unless he can turn it around.

AS a team we look like we are lost when we are with or without the ball. The lack of movement by anyone when we have the ball is shocking. All standing still pretty much really peeing me off. Was the same when i watched scotland in spain when we had the ball.

SO whats the answer? i think Celtic need to air their dirty laundry so to speak and get it dealt with, so the club can begin to move forward"!

Damn ive reverted to type again ed ooops lol

Just got Antiques Roadshow on ed.
Some fella brought in a medieval scroll. Contains most of Timalloy's jokes. Only worth a tenner though :-(

Neil Lennon just do the right thing and go, there is no improvement from last season and when you see the likes of Samaras , Commons and McCourt all unable to get a regular game there is something way wrong either with the players attitudes or the coaching, We are playing big Sammy wide when he is a centre forward , I feel the players body language is now showing that he wants out and that should never be the case of any Celtic Football Club employee..
What is the truth about Commons ( a good player ) who monitored his fitness over the summer, according to the player it was his decision to build or rather bulk his upper body , only on friday the cheif exec announced the club has invested heavily in sports science to get the best from players physically . Commons was one we were looking forward to seeing this season and now we look to have lost him as a player both mentally and physically.
Paddy McCourt ? well Neil Lennon, coaches , sport scientists why cant the most threatning player with a ball at his feet we have seen in this country in 20 years and more importantly a Celtic player and supporter not get a game or be trusted to start a game. Any player can look good coming on when you are 4 goals up and the opposition is on its heels. Just think if we could get a team on the park with Forrest and McCourt in it , you could throw the seats away in the ground because you wouldnt need them . We heard Neil lennons speech about how his team is the only team to play with panache. Sorry im not buying it .
So back to original rant about our management team , it is thier DUTY to get every player tuned into what it means to be a Celt and I think they have failed. We can plant our heads and hope for the best because we wont get the board to do the honourable thing and do and that is to remove the management team.

Evening Ed007,I think Rangers dropping points has helped Lennon, so he needs to really take a good look at his methods and the coaching staff. Majlby must start working more with the defence, Thomson with the midfield. Lenny himself must assess his input and what he can do to change things.
We need to get to next Old Firm game no worse off points wise or even better cut the deficit. Then we must win at Parkhead. Get to January and tell, not ask board to open purse strings.
If it means letting some players go, so be it, KI, Kayal, Commons and use money to buy Centre Half.
We must also plan further ahead, Forster is not our long term goalkeeper, let him go back to Newcastle and sign a good keeper.
Hooviveld is only on loan until January assess his form down south and if good, play him.
Hail hail Timalloy {Ed007's Note - Evening Tim. Forster will be the GK unless Craig Gordon can be signed as far as I know. The deal has been agreed with Newcastle.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I take it you mean a permanent deal for Forster Ed007? Do you know what fee is involved as I feel money could be spent on a better goalkeeper.
Also is it true that we could end up playing Sion in europa league, could not that not cause security issues with all the bad feeling especially at Parkhead, only good thing is we would get 60,000 there just to boo them. Timalloy {Ed007's Note - The press are saying it is £2 million but (believe me or not) I was told that it is half that with add ons. CFC offered £1.5 million and Newcastle knocked that back before the loan was agreed.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Seriously ed ? Why? Gordon can't get a game,no one wants him,he was good in the day aye but think him snapping his wrist ? He's not been the same.

See even if Lennon does go still think it will be between Forster & Gordon ?

Come on you bhoys in green
Lenny {Ed007's Note - Injuries have hampered Gordon as you say. He is out of contract next summer, Rangers have shown an interest as well incase McGregor leaves.}

Agree0 Disagree0

ED007, saw highlights of Fiorentina game, Boruc looks to have lost some weight, ask Lenny to get in touch and put Commons on his diet ha ha.
Seriously, Forster just does not instil confidence, I think that is one reason defence is so fragile, has forster ever saved a penalty?cannot think of even one. Timalloy {Ed007's Note -Commons is a disgrace Tim. I wouldn't mind if he never got near the 1st team again.}

Agree0 Disagree0

How ed ? Take it u know something we don't about commons ? Ov a fall out happened between him & Lennon but there's been 101 stories goin about what happened.

Come on you bhoys in green

I see James McFadded is 'very close' to joining Everton. Now I was on here questioning the timing of our supposed interest and the fitness of the player etc. But this must prove that The Board were spinning a yarn pre-AGM and either Lennon was in on it, or they ripped the P out of him as well.
Either way the supporters get taken for 'milk jugs' yet again while the club struggles week to week.
I know Ed is not in favour of a managerial change at this time but I honestly do not see us getting out of this mess with the current manager and his 'little helpers'. There are too many under-performing and too many apparently un-settled and obviously there are several injured. So I don't see much difference whether we carry on as we are needing 4/5 goals to win every game and struggling every week OR getting in a new manager with a bit of savvy and personality who will not be such a push-over to this Board. I think at least a change will lift the clouds and blow away a few cob-webs (before Halloween)

Ed, I was just talking to my mate and he told me that Sion are getting reinstated into the Europa cup is that true? How the hell did that chairman manage to swing that one? He reminds me of that Marseille chairman Bernard CORRUPT Tapie. Is it going to be a five team league? If it was five teams it means Celtic have to play another two games bad for Celtic good for Rangers :-) but the money men at Celtic won't be complaining due to the extra income.

While we beat each other up about my teams draw was better than your teams draw, we are forgetting that Wee Motherwell went 3 points clear of Celtic after 11 games. Reality check . No team is scared of taking on the old firm now. For Scottish football that is good but have Motherwell got better or have old firm got worse.

I read both the rangers and celtic sites and cant believe how much page space is spent saying how bad celtic are..how bad rangers are.... Allys rubbish... Lennon hasnt a clue. Consider for one magical moment that both teams or even a glasgow select team were invited to the epl or even the championship to compete, hands on hearts how many of either team would you consider to be good enough to compete? For one moment take off the green and blue tinted specs and see these dumplins for what they are.....overpaid and vastly under skilled. For too long both teams have accepted not even second best but third or forth best in some cases. We pump good money into both teams and dont really get the product we deserve. Surely both teams could get together decide jointly that youth was the way to go,get rid of all the overpaid crap and invest all the money on the youth systems.

I think there is a lot of merit in this post. If we cannot cut it for CL then we should just peg our aspirations down a little. Given the board is to my mind unsure of its strategy or at least is embarking on a risky policy of trying to get CL potential -players and developing them to said CL player. This is fanciful as at best the duffers we sign along the way counters the money we save unearthing the odd gem. Also given that they (the board) are sleepwalking with regards tapping into the huge global support the best thing to do is stop signing players from other clubs outside Scotland and develop our own. If we do sign a boy make it a boy from Motherwell or Hibs etc not some fancy outfit from abroad. Ok we may have attendances drop and we may also take another beating regarding credibility, but we as a club and a support would live within our means and the Scottish boys would get the chance they deserve in their own country with the team they love and support. Look at Forrest yesterday he was outstanding and showed more confidence courage and skill than the rest put together. Lets forget the duds and if we have duds at least they would be cheap ones and our own duds not hugely expensive foreigners who are mercenary dont care about the club or the support and take huge revenue out of the Scottish game year after year. I remember 30 years ago when most of the Celtic team were Scottish and we still got into a European Cup QF.

To quote joe ledley out of last weeks sun: there's 10 games to the next old firm game & we need to win them all.

Lennon at the agm: I'll tell u what ally said if we win the league.

1st quote, well we fell at the 1st fence, we should be wiping the floor with teams like killie.

2nd quote, don't know if im thinking to much into this but Lennon saying that. Do u think he thinks deep down he knows it's finished ?

We have a europa game on thurs day then a game again at the weekend, I feel europe is long goin but if we lose/draw again b4 Xmas this it's got to be over, we just got lucky that rangers got a draw yesterday.

A hate to know the odds on Lennon getting the sack b4 Xmas,one of the blue noses made a good point a while back fat Sally had a few years under smith all Lennon has had is tony Mowbray & mon over the phone

Think this time next week could be intresting cause if we lose on thurs then at the weekend Lennon should walk then hopfully get the truth over the comming weeks months about what's happening in that dressing room

Niel Lennon needs players who want to play for Celtic right now. Players who really care.
We have lots of injuries, but of the players who are fit, these are the only ones i would say care at the moment. Forster, Mathews, Mark Wilson, Mulgrew,Ledley, Mccourt, Forrest, Wanyama, Stokes, Bangura. The rest of the fit players should really have a word with themselves, because it's an honour to play for our club. I just hope the Scots lads in the team get laid right into them, and maybe a good old dressing room bust up will knock some of the sefishness out of them. But for now Lenny needs guys who are going to fight for him, and if he drops Stokes for the European game, then hell mend him.

Neil Lennon with £5million in January
or
Manager John Collins with Coach Yogi Hughes with £5 million.
The reason I say Collins and Hughes is both out of a job and both know the game here and the players , They would also keep the flair coupled with the fight and have the respect of the support. Collins has continental contacts and great knowledge of the game with a clean cut image big yogi has the ability to get more from players ,
I have witnessed what big Yogi can do with a small budget and I think the 2 of them would bring a freshness and do a good job for Celtic.
I honestly think Neil Lennon has tried his best but has come up short and with a new management team in place NOW to give them some time to plan for January . There just seems to be a feeling of lack of confidence in what the board are projecting and how Neil Lennon is conducting his interviews after games with no thunder in his voice and that coupled with results I just think a fresh start and with a new direction might just get the response and spark on the park.
We have great players at the club but I think some of them are not giving their all.
Paddy McCourt why is he resigned to young Forrest taking over him in the team , why with all his talent cant he play 90 minutes, he would be a C*****e A**m type player if he went to England , cant do it here but would be a sensation down there.
Anyhow rant over, I will stand by whoever is in the dugout but the whole club needs a lift and it will only be the board that can give that.

Ki and Kayal must be getting carried away with all the hype that has been written about them from last season,to play well in the SPL,does not make you a great player,Play well in Europe that is where good players can be judged against far better teams that play in the SpL,Ki and Kayal were out classed by the Kilmarnock midfield players in the 1st half yesterday,There is talk of Kayal getting a new contract,Celtic have already made that mistake with Samaras,I would rather play a young reserve player than Kayal,who hopefully gives more effort and determination,than a player who might get his act together if he gets the new contract he thinks he is worth,if Celtic get a offer in january for Kayal and Ki they should take it.

Got to disagree wiv NL saying his team talk turned things around ,we had played 72 mins and never looked like scoring,it took a wonder free kick 2 bring us back into it,they should hav finished it even wen it was 3-3 ,teem selection was wrong(again) and NL looks a shadow of himself compared to last season but just hav 2 keep believing...DH

i agree its been a bad start bu we have played 10 games and in that time have we had a fully fit first 11 i dont remember a run of injuries like we have had this early in a season before so consistancy is hard to get , we all agree we need centre backs and people keep asking why nl didnt buy any ,no backing from the board 2 2players in the win 1 on the last hours of itwho if stories are to believd wasnt even lennons decision , we also have 2 of last season best players out of sorts commons overweight and kayals head turned by his new agent ,given this would a new manager do better, the pessimists say the league is over bring in a new manager and build for next season ,if you think like this why not wait till jan and see if nl can turn it around, nothings lost cos you think its over anyway , and next season when you pessimists get a new manager and he hasnt won the treble in the first 10 games do we then sack him , i agree nl makes mistakes but hasnt any other manager , if you listen for the calls for mon you woul think he won 5 trebles in a row the fact is out of 15 trophies mon won 7 take henrik away and how many would have it been , this isnt an attack on mon but trying to put things into perspective even with a good team with a world class striker you cant win everything, so until we can buy again in jan (or is that just wishful thinking) i think nl deserves a chance to turn it around, ragers are away to hearts aberdeen and we have a game in hand so come nov it could be clawed back

I think everyone would take on board what you are saying, but after yeaterday's first half performance most fans were utterly disgusted and vented their frustrations by calling fo NL to be sacked/replaced.
I think we sneaked out of jail yesterday, NL is making too many mistakes, dont know if it is arrogance or inexperience, but he needs to get a grip and fast.
Injuries are one thing and part of football, but if you cant get commitment out of your players it looks like you have lost it.

Just a random point about James McFadden, and this quote is an opinion on him from Lennon from the BBC website:

"He's a player that I've liked for quite a while, he is a very creative player and has good qualities and he is available."

I wish I could underline/bold/somehow highlight the following: "He's a player that I've liked for quite a while" and "available".

Oh really Lenny? Well he's been "available" for how long? Why didn't you make a move before? Why has it taken such an age, despite you liking him for "quite a while"? Quit with the media baws and tell the truth... I mean seriously man...do explain why there was no move made for this guy a couple of months back if he's such a good player? Despite him being "available".

Honestly dude... sums up the current scheisse signing policy (and I realise you, Neil Lennon, are not really to blame)...we'll sign when it's cheap or when the fans are needing a lift. How about living in the here and now and understanding when (and where....oh and not only jésus christé knows where) the team needs investment? When he becomes "available" (date of release, summer) or when bringing in quality players when available was a priority because we needed to strengthen the side and build on the previous season rather than a necessity because the fans get restless and maybe won't buy a ticket for the next game.

BUY A FRIGGIN CENTRAL DEFENDER. OR TWO. HELL, THROW IN THREE PLUS HIS BROTHER FOR THE DEVELOPMENT SQUAD IF HE'S ANY GOOD, JUST QUIT MESSING US ABOUT AND TALKING SCHEISSE IN THE MEDIA TO PLEASE THE BOARD. MCFADDEN, ON HIS DAY, QUALITY PLAYER, BUT IF YOU ADMIRED HIM SO MUCH AND HE COULD ADD SO MUCH TO THE TEAM WHY DIDN'T YOU SORT A CONTRACT OUT IN SUMMER? JEEZ...

bring in the centre back we've needed and quit with the (wannabe) marquee signings. the defence is a disgrace. give a free agent soon to join and play at centre back the oh-so-sacred number 7 jersey if he god forbid he can actually defend and sort the current crop of numpties we're sticking on in the defence out and single handedly improve our defence through leadership, organisation and experience. I'd take that over someone who can flick a ball left right up down and defy the laws of physics with a ball but still doesn't help us win games because the defence is such a disgrace so him scoring 6 in a game means jack all as they score 7.

ARGH!! rant over
