So the Scottish media made a big thing about French Eddy not scoring on Friday and that he "was out of form" guess what 20 minutes played tonight in french U21 game and he has already scored 2 goals.
ha ha their papers are only good for holding fish suppers lol.

Hopefully he’ll carry his scoring form into the Hibs match.
I expect Ajeti to start on Saturday and Eddy to play the last 30 minutes.

If Eddy wants the move he allegedly craves, then he must get himself fully fit, focused and firing-on-all-cylinders. Only then will he attract 'big clubs' interest with the bids Celtic will entertain.

Before tonight former Celtic striker Moussa Dembele was France U21s record goal scorer with 13 goals in 23 games.
Edouard has now taken over from his former Celtic teammate and is now the record holder after only 10 games for France U21s.
The French media have labelled him “Mr. Double” due to the amount of doubles he’s scored the the U21s.

Watched Eddy last night. Different body language, Game played at very high speed. Fast passing, he palyed only in the centre no coming short looking for the ball. Battled for anything played into him and lots of short passes near the 18 yrd box.
He also hit the post.

Interesting point jonace. Don't want to start the NL debate all over again as the previous manager made selection mistakes as well; but players have to be played in their strongest position with the appropriate formation, with teammates that compliment each other.
We all know there are some unsettled players in the squad, but If players could actually enjoy the way they are asked to play, it might make a difference to their attitude and performance? Just a thought.

It was a big game last night between the French and the Swiss U21s.
To qualify for the U21s European Championship in the last group match,
France had to beat Switzerland on the head to head after losing 3-1 in Switzerland.
France qualified after drawing 3-1 on the head to head because they had a better goal difference.
Eddy looked like being the hero with his 2 goals but after France were reduced to 10 men, the Swiss scored in the last minute which would’ve been enough for them to qualify on the head to head.
The 10 men of France scored in injury time to qualify in a fascinating game.

It’s 50 years ago tonight when Celtic played West Ham in Bobby Moore’s testimonial.
The game was a 3-3 classic with Celtic leading on 3 separate occasions, only for the East Londoners to equalise on each occasion.
It was an honour for the England captain to have one of Europe’s top teams in 1970 to play a part in his testimonial.
The West Ham site wrote,
Forget the result because Celtic were a class above and Jinky almost won the game with the last kick of a memorable match.

Was at that game as a 14 year old with my uncle and cousins and remember feeling disappointed because we didn't win, as I was so used to seeing us beat most teams every week; but also bemused because the Celtic support was so vocal and in high spirits ha ha.
I also went to Anfield in 1974 for the Ron Yeats testimonial (where Bobby Charlton guested for Celtic - who had players missing) and we won that 4-1 and we were applauded by the LFC fans for our support. My final testimonial was not such a happy memory as we travelled to Birmingham, again 40 years ago and apart from being the worse for wear with the cheeky-waater'; we lost 0-1 and the Polis were very heavy handed, as we had to pass through two 'search' blockades while they confiscated loads of flags and scarves and one Brummy Bobby burst ma inflatable Jimmy Johnstone!
Much later I discovered that there had been a lot of anti-Irish resentment at that time after the pub-bombing a year earlier.

Rangers cheated to 4 titles gained on the final day of the season.
Only 2010 was the exception under Tony Mowbray.

John Hartson’s sister passed away on 21st October and her funeral is today in Swansea.
We just heard last week about the tragic news of Kyle Lafferty’s sister and now Big John’s sister.
It really has been a terrible year for families.
Rest In Peace Hayley. 🙏.
