OAB posted his opinion this afternoon that Kieran Tierney is insuffiently protected by referees. I couldn’t agree more. As much as I enjoy watching Kieran, I have felt for a long time now that perhaps Brendan should consider substituting him (Izaguirre? ) in some games that are just about “wrapped up” result wise. Kieran gets injured at some point in most games and that this is because he is targeted. Every opposition team knows his value to Celtic and would love to nulify his influence. There’s not a player in the SPFL who can achieve this by fair means so foul means will do.

Jsut seen it was announced

Kieran Tierney has Withdrawn from the Scotland squad due to “injury”. Absolutely brilliant news for us and the future off the national team.

In other words he doesn’t want to play for a dinosaur who has likely done nothing in training with him. That’s the 9th player this week to pull out. in other words no one wants to player under him. Hopefully anther nail in the coffin for the dinosaur before he is sacked and we can all put and end to this year off disgraceful and shameful year in our national team.

Great news from a Celtic POV. He has taken a power of 'abuse', unprotected by referees this season and this will give him time to recover and the bruises to fade.

Agreed mate, of course that joke off a pitch Livingston have can come in to play aswell but overall we all know KT is a top lad and would pull through if the risk was worth it. But when your manager is Alex mcleish and intends on playing you in some dogey formation that requires ridiculous amounts off work rate there’s no point in aggravating it. Hopefully when the next Scotland matches are up the dinosaur will be sacked and Tierney and the rest off our players don’t need to worry getting mistreated with a awful manger.

Seen what others been posting about the upcoming international fixtures and at this time I honestly have to agree. said it last month I hope we lose these fixtures, and I feel absolutely awful for saying it since I love my country and hope one day we actually have an association that is corrupt free and most importantly have a manger who actually knows how to manage that takes us to a campaign. I even still enjoyed watching the games under Strachan at times because somehow we still managed to get a result once he started selecting the Bhoys. but for this year off torture to end and the dinosaur fraud known as McLeish to get sacked we HAVE to lose theses matches otherwise the sfa will no doubt keep him on for more painful viewing and further damaging our national team. Greats like big Jock and Willie Ormond among with ally would be turning in there grave seeing what our national team has become thanks to the like McLeish. Like I said it pains me to see I hope we lose but it would be a blessing in disguise with hopefully McLeish Sacked and a new manager in hopefully one that knows Scottish football like Neil Lennon or Derek McIness for example.

I feel the exact same. Love my country but just can't watch them play under that prick. At least we have the Rugby on Sat.

You hope we loose these fixtures, really? I'm fed up with the players that's pulled out and the manager we have in place but I could and would never want my beloved country to loose, never. Hold you head in shame!
