I might get torn apart for this one and even though I hope we push for forster all the way, but if we can't get a deal done, what about Joe Hart?

At first it's most likely a complete no no and there will be comments like "there's a reason he can't get a game with Burnley" I still do genuinely believe there's a very good goalkeeper in there.
You don't lose the ability and before pep took over man city he was unreal at times and has massive experience which could prove invaluable between the sticks.

Contract expires at the end of June and is available on a free which could be a very shrewd investment and even though Bain hasn't done a great deal wrong, I just don't think he's celtic number 1 material.
He recently said he just wants to be a big part of a club and I honestly think with a bit of a confidence boost and hard work with Stevie woods he can get back to the stage he was once at, if forster spent the best part of 2 years in the wilderness and comes back and plays a blinder last season, the evidence is there to suggest there's no reason hart can't do the same.

That's a fair bit of analysis Mark. I was a fan of Hart's for a while at the beginning of his career but what put me off him was his reaction after he lost goals. You can put your hand up and say it was my fault, or sorry lads, or whatever. As soon as the ball hit the net he went after his bottle of water and didn't show any emotion or anything. You'll see what I'm saying if you watch the first of Griffiths free kicks. Also, his set up of the wall was poor for a keeper of his status.

There is a keeper in there but I'd rather be sure that keeper was present evry time he put his top on and not hidden in his ego.

Hart was a good keeper at 1 stage mate, we need a keeper who’s concentration is good as they don’t always see a lot of the ball if we couldn’t get big Fras a would be open to taking hart and as you pointed out some confidence can do a player the world of good and Stevie woods is the man for that.

Hart was a decent keeper but I think he's lost his appetite for the game, no hunger anymore probably down to being absolutely minted. We need someone who cares, not someone looking to earn a bit of pocket money in the latter years of their career. Just my opinion 👍.

Hart is rubbish, was rubbish and will always be rubbish, he should stick to his main job, or should I say mane job, that is advertising hair care products.

I still think Hart could do well for us, first team action, european football, winning medals etc, but agree that his attitude would need to change, that's where Broony and the rest come in.

It's all about opinions on this site and that's what I like about coming on here.
I hope big FF will be here, but if not we need other options.
I've been through a few teams down south and Hart is going to be available.
What about John Ruddy (Wolves) , always thought he was decent?
Other than that we may need to go to European market.

I was thinking the same regarding Hart. You don't become man City and England no.1 without being talented. My first choice would be forster but if that's a no go then I reckon Hart would be worth a punt.

Guys/ ed what's your thinking on Big Fraz and Moi in a swap deal with Ntcham.
Is it a good deal for us?
Should money also change hands either way?
We are getting 2 for 1 with no outlay if that the case, yes ntcham is quality but not always a starter.
Where if both fit Moi and Fraz play.
Its seems a no brainer for me and Southamton have been good to deal with in the past and we have given them some gems.

Definitely a big yes from me.
Ntcham can be good at times but is inconsistent.
I find he also struggles against better opponents, when he has less time on the ball.
I think he would struggle in the EPL.

Ntcham isn't worth what the two of them are worth so I'd be shocked if that was a possibility. I could see Forster plus cash for Ntcham maybe but they sheeled out big money for Elyounoussi and will want to make a decent chunk of it back.

Would be happy with straight swap ntcham for Forster. Ntcham too hot and cold for me plus we have soro who looks a good player from what I've saw online.

Saints will be wanting close to £20m for the 2 if sold so we'd get the better deal out of it. Both would be starters and an improvement on what's here in those positions already. We are well covered in the middle but I'd punt Rogic before Ntcham.

I don't think so, with premier League wages, I would rather keep Ntcham,
One of the reasons the midfield struggles on occasion is because he is not a regular starter.

only problem with rogic is who would want him?

wouldnt keep mo i know he started well and was injured but he didn't set the place on fire well not for me, i actually think we would have to give southampton ntcham plus money for forster.

No way we'd get both! As stated above, straight swap Big Fraz for N'Cham would do me nicely!

Yous are going about this the wrong way round, build the team around McGregor, Ntcham and Christie, rather than going for Forster, (unless he is willing to take a huge drop in wages to come up here permanently) , get an up and coming young goalie, and an experienced centre half.

Aindoh ntcham won't be at club that long if his conduct regarding Porto bid at start of last season is anything to go by. If he is not away this summer, he will most certainly be gone by next summer.

Going for 10iar you need an experienced goalkeeper who you know you can depend on, not a gamble on a rookie goalkeeper. I do agree with getting an experienced CB though as Ajer looks certain to leave. Honestly reckon we will end up signing Scott McKenna and perhaps a veteran for cover.

There was the rumour last season Saints was interested in Rogic so they can have him instead in a swap for Forster lol.

I would say the swap deal for the 2 Players for N’Cham would be the fairest as it stands moi has no real value down in England just now he basically flopped there so not many other teams would be willing to risk big money on him and foster is getting on in years so many the bigger teams see him as a back up . With N’Cham tho he is still Young enough with lots of potential and could have a blinder of a season and end up getting valued in the John mcgin category.
