Hearts fans attacked. Hearts supporters buses attacked.the hearts team held inside ibrokes for their own safety, A female hearts fan dragged to the ground and kicked, and of course the obligatory sectarian chants. Be very interesting to see how the media cover this tomorrow. If any Celt misses this they need their head looked at, makes you wonder what like the semi will be like

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Couldn't miss the "minority" 35000 singing the billy boys. New club same vile human beings. Not a minority a plague

Agree0 Disagree0

Absolute animals. Total disgrace people can't go to watch their team play without that carry on! Hope the woman is alright

Agree1 Disagree0

I hope the appropriate authorities apply the appropriate punishment(s), surely a polis matter first, before the sfa apply their punishment.

Agree0 Disagree0

This mob really need to Die Another Day

Agree0 Disagree0

And what will the SFA do to them? SFA aptly named

Take it yous were all at the game to witness these events? Take it it was a majority of Celtic fans that attacked the police in amsterdamn? Take it every Celtic fan supports the ira chants? Grow up, I was there with my 7 year old and before the match even started I was called a dirty zombie b****** by several hearts fans who most were woman as I had to walk past away fans entering ground. Every team has persons definately not a majority and don't give it poor hearts as there fans definately had a go at rangers fans first.

Agree0 Disagree0

Having being spat on & punched on the way to Swinecastle Hearts fans are just as vile.

Agree0 Disagree0

Both fans are persons

Agree1 Disagree0

Cee I can't comment on events I haven't witnesed. All I can comment on was how many people could be heard singing the billy boys. A song which celebrates wading in the blood of others. It was not the minority singing that song but if you weren't one of them then I apologise to you. But I stand by what I said about the other vast amount of your fellow "supporters" who were heard singing it. As for hearts fans they have a vile element but that wasn't the point I was making either. And you will never hear pro ira chants at celtic park only at away games. And that is a minority

Agree1 Disagree0

@Ceexxx; Did I say it was every sevco fan? You cannot deny when the fenian blood flows the VAST majority indulge in it. As for our fans, yes we have people as does every club does but that's hardly and excuse. lok at the crap we had to listen to re the Dundee game away.Almost a full week on snyde and the tabloids.

Agree1 Disagree0

Good to see you on here Ceexxx and good to have another's point of view you are correct each setoff fans do have there hard core element but I condone violence to ANY one all for a game of football just stupid

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - You can't possibly be taking Ceexxx serious? Anyone with eyes could see what was going on, and it was all pre-arranged. Imagine being called a zombie lmfao that must really have cut to the bone. Sweep, sweep..... Next he'll be telling us his daughter has got asthma!}

@007. Brilliant mate, the old asthma gag.Love it!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - (yes)

Ed she doesn't my son does though he is outgrowing it, and it was not being called a zombie that annoyed me it was the swearing and shouting in front of my child that did.

Green jed although u did not say majority someone else did. the only personic people who sing that or any other stupid song are the union bears or whatever they call themselves now and the hearts fans were keen as well! I hate it as much as most normal people. And I hope whoever was involved in the events are taken to task but wasn't a majority of fans

Hope the games on tomorrow, the weekend is just not the same without a Celtic game . I also don't fancy losing more ground to the sheep if they play and win . Anyone know what the weather is like up their?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I love 25 minutes south of Aberdeen Afab1 and there is no snow here mate! Bloody cold like but no snow!

Agree0 Disagree0

Apparently Hamilton is really bad, but I agree we can't afford to keep playing catch up. It's high time we got the show on the road and showed our intent

Is it just possible celtic are bein clever here and will make an offer for GMS before window shuts in conjunction with and offer for Armstrong? I just hope we don't p*** off utd over this and they refuse to sell him to us.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Ray that's exactly what they are doing. It's a game. Utd want 250k but celtic want to leave them to consider getting nothing in 6 months. As you say hope it doesn't backfire especially over such a small amount

Agree0 Disagree0

Rayman since news broke of clubs interest in GMS I think we all knew it would be a pre-contract and then test Dundee Uniteds resolve.

I agree, there is a potential to pi$$ United off and worst case scenario, we don't get GMS till the summer and Armstrong goes elsewhere.

Did not know until tonight Paul George had left Celtic. Had hoped he would make an impact under Lenny but with the injury it wasn't to be. Hope he kicks on now and has a successful career elsewhere. Good luck to him.

Welcome GMS, Hopefully we can get him in asap as he is needed with important games coming up.

Just played my grandson on his FIFA 15 computer game and I was Celtic, while he plumped for his dad's team - who were found under 'rest of the world' as Rangers.
Just about to kick off and 'Martin Tyler chats to Alan Smith' about 'Old Firm'!? blah blah. and Rangers being back in the big time after their troubles and relegation!
EA Sports are at it anaw! Where ma paranoia pills.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Should have switched it off and told him there's no such thing as the old firm

I would be astonished if we don't get gms in just now. I think we will, its just a game between us and Utd the now over a few quid here and there. But even it will cost 250k the manager has identified a player he wants in who won't cost a lot, so he has to be backed,

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Aye. RD has indicated he wants him now. I agree. Sooner the better. Get him playing with the team so that he's adjusted ready for CL qualifiers; and, I for one genuinely think he will improve our side. He plays the RAM role better than anybody we have has done this season. Utd may not need to sell, but perhaps cashing in on a player they know is leaving is more beneficial than keeping him for their league campaign, suppose it depends on who THEY can get in for whatever they can get from us. Even at 250k though I don't think they could get a better player so guess we will just have to wait and see. The ball really us in their court.

Being cynical and well versed in the way Mr Lawwell's mind works, I expect VVD to leave in next 2 weeks with Mackay Smith signed as an appeasement. Watch this space.

Agree1 Disagree1

Yeah a agree he will be in as the window closes for circa 100k, Utd fans will turn on him IMO & he will get accused of coasting and staying clear of injury bhoy cannot win now

Agree0 Disagree0

Exactly Jim. Rd has split opinion so much in the stands and on here. But the fact is he was the boards choice so he has to be backed. Especially if they are going to cash in on vvd. Another 10m in the kitty look forward to seeing that re invested in players.

Agree0 Disagree0

Timalloy how do you work that one out? How can signing GMS a RM possibly even appease fans for losing VVD, a CB in a position which is already a concern with no replacement?

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont think timalloy was saying it should appease us, just that will be the plan

Agree0 Disagree0

Edinbhoy I know what he is saying, but its unrealistic to think that is boards plan. They know that there will be a massive uproar if VVD is sold and no CB is brought to replace. They also know signing GMS won't "appease" as defence will be futher weakened in a position we already have issues.

Agree0 Disagree0

That is sarcasm Garybhoy isn't it?

Agree0 Disagree0

DN I know what your saying. But you can't blame someone for being apprehensive. It seems the players going out price tags are just getting higher and higher which is great. But the players coming in price tags are getting lower and lower.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just a bit Jim

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with you Timalloy I can see us getting GMS and another CB in and VVD will be offski, The speech will be Virgil was replaced and we got in a RM so we finished in a stronger position than we started rubbish!

Agree0 Disagree0

Well that is the left wing sorted now for the right and one or two CBs

GMS has signed pre-contract. Expect a cheeky bid of £250k to get him at club this window

Believable2 Unbelievable5

16 Jan 2015 12:46:18
DN30 £250k is NOT a cheeky bid, that is what United want, a cheeky bid would be £100k

Agree5 Disagree4

If that's the case why not pay £1m to sign him just now instead of pre-contract then offer take it or leave it fee? It wasnt the monetary value of bid that I was talking about.

Agree2 Disagree3

16 Jan 2015 14:13:20
Dn30 what were u talkin about? Do u even know? Lol.like Tim said, they want 250 so it's not a cheeky bid if that's what they'r after! If it wasn't the monetary value then what was it?

Agree4 Disagree2

Dangy I do know what i'm talking about. What I was meaning was cheeky was getting mackay-steven signed on pre-contract then offer take it or leave it bid to sign him just now. i'm not complaining if it goes through this window at less than 250k. i'm just concerned if it doesn't go through as we need players.

Agree0 Disagree0

16 Jan 2015 15:24:18
Ok mate cool, just wondering what u meant that's all.i agree that we need players to,and I'm hoping with this signing it leads to a change in transfer policy, and we start bringing more scottish players in! Armstrong next would be good and I like the look of Scott Allan at hibs.

Agree1 Disagree0

I think it was way I worded it mate lol I agree with signing more players from scottish leagues. We have missed out on too many players like mccarthy, mcarthur and robertson, who would of vastly improved team

Agree0 Disagree0

16 Jan 2015 11:45:01
Confirmed pre contract signing of GMS to join hoops in the summer. Now go get Armstrong!

Believable4 Unbelievable0

It would have made more sense to forget GMS and just sign Armstrong but Celtic rarely do the sensible thing when they can save a couple of bob.

Agree1 Disagree0

16 Jan 2015 11:42:32
Glad to see we've tied up GMS should have him signed this window now! I'm not really a fan of loans but what about Shaun Wright philips? I don't know if he's still got it but he's direct and not playing at QPR maybe worth a wee gamble?

Believable1 Unbelievable2

He hasn't had it since 2004!

Agree1 Disagree0

16 Jan 2015 16:46:18
I know but when did he last have a decent run of games? Not by any means saying he's the answer to anything just an idea.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think with his pace he would run riot in Scotland but his wages are well out our range. We are grumbling over 250k to get gms in just now. SwP would command that every month

Agree0 Disagree0

What a package for SWP would cost we could buy and pay the wages of a much younger, and even better player imo. There are some great deals on a free every year sos I know where you're coming from - i've suggested free agents all the time - SWP is not a good deal though.
