ed i think if we get into champions league we wiill bank the 15 million and we will sell ki for 6-8 million depending what paper you read and lenny will be allowed to spend about 6 million on centre half and striker which is good business sense. if we dont qualify i dont see any new signings do you agree {Ed007's Note - No.}

I feel for that Steve Kean at Blackburn; Ok he was relegated and his record is poor, but he has braved a fan revolt and trial by media and has worked hard under very difficult circumstances with the boards backing.
He must have very thick skin as the owners are now ridiculing him, playing to the crowd and displaying it on Sly. Surely he should go with dignity and dump them?
Anyway he seems to have a much better record as a 'number 2', he knows the road to Paradise and we are a back-room member down?

Have a look at him on you tube mate slagging of allardyce and taking credit for all their players ie jones and hoillet, then promising them a top ten finish and a carling cup win. I wouldn't like him looking over my shoulder as a no 2

Agree1 Disagree0

Keep. Him. Away.

Terrible manager, should've been sacked long ago. In a way I feel for him and have respect given the way the fans treat him but I also see exactly where the fans are coming from. His Allardyce comments were also disgraceful.

Agree1 Disagree0

I never knew about the Allardyce stuff; point taken.

Morning Ed,

A few years ago we were linked with a small stocky forward in the lower leagues, he had a great goal scoring record. He had a double barrell surname. Any idea what his name is or how he progressed?.

Thanks,

Bad Bhoy. {Ed007's Note - Craig Mackail-Smith???}

I hope thats the last time Scotland play an international at easterroad. The turn out was poor with absolutly no atmosphere which was a shame because it was a great game. The Hibs fans should be ashamed of themselves for booing Ian Black. I myself am a celtic fan and I dont particularly rate Black but to boo your own player is sad.

Believable4 Unbelievable3

I vividly remember a Scotland game years ago when Dalgleish was booed.The reason,The Scotland "fans" wanted Derek Johnstone on his place.Wonder why?........green jhedi

Agree3 Disagree5

I mentioned before about when Jinky was abused and cajoled until Henderson replaced him in the 60's. It was utterly disgraceful, but typical of the trend that has infested our game for 100+ years.
That scunnered me as far as Scotland go.

I remember being at Ibrox for a world title fight between Jim Watt and Howard Davis in 1980 . Before the fight they announced in Scottish celebrity's to their ringside seats . Everyone was getting rapturous applause till they announced Jock Stein . Bedlam began . I remember leaving with my two mates getting a bus into town and watching it in pub . Also remember Anton Rogan and Neil Lennon getting hard times when they played internationals . It seems our media is anti SFA ,SPL and pro SFL3 god they're even debating the booing on telly tonite at 10:30.....DH

Does anyone else on here feel a wee bit embaressed about Ian Black being booed? I thought that when you put on the national jersey the whole country gets behind you. I also feel now that a bid must be made for Jordan Rhodes after his fantastic performance. {Ed007's Note - Who booed him?}

Believable5 Unbelievable3

Thought it was a disgrace if im honest, a total 'rid neck'. Dont like the guy myself but he was representing scotland and it shouldnt have happend

Sk87

Agree3 Disagree4

He was booed because it was at Easter Road and there were quite a few that hated him! The guy is scum...dirty tackles galore...thinks he is a gangsta......Hugh Keevins is on record as saying he is a "Nasty piece of Work"! Fannybawz!

Agree5 Disagree3

Even so, its that kind of attitude that ruins football. I think hes a person too, but he deserves his chance like anyone else, and nobody deserves to be booed representing their country. That kind of narrow minded behaviour shouldnt have a place in sport.
