Honestly this are getting boring on this site it's the same thing everyday , same rumours same comments . i.e Keane's away im glad . b*lls i would have taking him back in a second . but i am glad its over now cause maybe people will talk about something else.

There is no transfer leaks at celtic at the moment as lennon does not want anything getting out there is only a selected few who know celtic's real targets . coaching staff and lawell and i know that for a fact as i have been friend's with john park for years and he wont even let it slip to me . he said nothing will be said and not even the players know any targets apart from the trialists .

Thing are slow and they will stay that way . things will happen when it happens. {Ed007's Note - The players don't know anything except for the trialists? Did you see Commons interview today? He didn't even know who Mo Idrissou was.}

Ed007 what is happening with Sion and EUFA? Will they be thrown out of tourney if they play those 6 players against us. Heard there is to be a Court of Arbritation hearing but AFTER both ties played. How farcical is that, surely a decsion about eligible players should be made BEFORE our game on thursday. Timalloy {Ed007's Note - I am still waiting on Ed002 about it mate. She is out of the country but usually checks in a couple of times a day when she is. Bit out of my league but she is an expert in that kind of stuff.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

UEFA may be boxing clever here. It appears that Sion will get sanctioned somewhere along the line. Celtic (believe it or believe it not are still big box office and the ties are worth a mint to our respective clubs. I think they will wait and let us bring in the revenue. Of course of we win the tie they will forfeit; if we lose well that's when things will get interesting. Call me cynical and it may be good news for us, the referee may just for once in Europe give us a few decisions.......

Hi ed. I WAS a big fan of keanes up till now. Any soccer player that has move to the MLS with one shxte carling cup medal in his pocket at the age of 31 is a t**t. Alright for Beckham + Henry they have the pockets full of medals... That's the last time al speak of him. Well done to all at Celtic it has been a great few weeks with the legends game and our business in order. We might not be the riches clubs in world but by god we are one of Biggest. Wee question for you ed + to you bhoys.
If money was no option who would you sign?It can be anyone from any era.My choice would be between Pele + Messi,i know most people would probably say them but in my eyes people like Maradona,etc dont come close to these two.

Jungle Bhoy. {Ed007's Note - Good debate starter there JB, I'm going for Paulo Maldini and Gabriel Batistuta.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Marco van basten & eric cantona
cfc1888 {Ed007's Note - It was Cantona or Batistuta. But Batistuta done it on the international stage as well. I was a big Cantona fan myself, lucky enough to have seen him a few times.}

Forgot about Maldini,what a player he was.

Jungle Bhoy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cantona was pure class not many better than him
it will b interesting to see who elses names appear.
cfc1888

Agree0 Disagree0

Maldini is hands down the best CB iv seen in the flesh (watched him play against us(gers) in a friendly and he was honestly about 30 secs mentally to our players the guy was just on a different level. Battigol was always one of my fave strikers (used to like Fiorintina during the old channel 4 days) he would score about 50 gls in the spl easily. Lets face it Messi IS the greatest talent the game has ever seen he will be known as the greatest ever if he keeps up what he is doing but he would get injured every game in the SPL lol our CB just wouldnt stand for his dancing skills
For me the greatest player to gave played the game has to be Maradonna : Singlehandidly won the world cup (no-one has performed like he has on that stage not even close ... individuals can win u games but tournaments What he did for Napoli was unreal and really showed the level of player he was Napoli signed him and another player 2 players and went from Seria A mid table nobodies to champs just because of him and him alone. Which player would I ahve loved to have seen tho ? not ability wise (tho he was damn good) but just cos wen u wathced him u never knew what u were gonna get skill, dribbles, shots free kicks ,,, loved this guy ... Jay Jay Okocha wot a player lol

"The Goalie"

Bhoys not one of you mentioned wee Jinky, he had the skills and the courage. I was at Athletico Madrid match when they literally tried to kick him off the park, wee jinky just picked himself up and ran at them again. That kind of bravery is missing these days. Hail hail timalloy

Agree0 Disagree0

Zidane. genius doesnt get enough recognition i feel but he was better than messi is {Ed007's Note - I'd agree with you, Messi is amazing at what he does, Zidane ran the whole game.}

George Best, He was a genius, fast brave and a natural talent. He could down 6 pints be up to all sorts till 4 in the morning and come in and do a job for Sir Matt. They dont make them like that anymore R.I.P.

im more than happy with this current celtic squad atm. i think just if we brought in a cb and mayb a gk. kuszcak wud be amazing i think.
we have enough quality in our team to win the league for the next three years at least so why overspend now when we are quarenteed it this year and we will have the cl money next season. wer getting back to where we belong bhoys.
please lenny get rid of deadwood- i.e. samaras, hooiveld,rasmussen(i no wasnt given a chance but being honest wud u when hooper and stokes playing the way they are)

I see we made a pre-tax profit this year even though we were crap in Europe. A good run this year would finance one or two good players. Any word out yet on the shames tax bill? Rumours of £20-£60 have been floating about for a couple of years now {Ed007's Note -The final hearing is scheduled for November. The current problem is a separate issue.}

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Dont let us get carried away, profit was from simply the sale of 9.5ml

Agree0 Disagree0

16 Aug 2011 14:14:12
Ed007 wanted to say well done to Peter Lawwell and the board for the better than expected financial figures. I know mcGeady's money helped but to turn a £9.5m debt into only £0.5m is exceptional. Rangers fan on their site tried to be clever and quoted OPEX and did not explain it. All businesses have Operatinal Expenditure (OPEX) simply put it means as long as your expenditure is LESS than your income your business will be ok, this is what Celtic have achieved in difficult financial times.
I think a lot of our financial stability goes back to Fergus mcCann, he cleared our debt, built us a new stadium and set in motion financial planning that is helping us to this day.
Compare that to across the city where even with Champions league millions the past 2 -3 years they still owe upwards of £10m.
This is one area where we have wiped the floor with Rangers, now all we need is for Lennon to get us wiping the floor with them ON the park also.
hail hail timalloy {Ed007's Note - Doesn't matter where the money came from Tim, transfers etc, the figures speak for themselves. I said for months that the "need to sell" stories were nonsense. We only need to sell to trim the squad. Do we really miss McGeady in the team? CFC are one of the best ran clubs in Britain and that is why we will have no problems meeting the FFP rules when they come into place.}

Believable7 Unbelievable1

Fergus MCann made his money from the club but I totally agree with the Eds point. I fro one was ashamed when the league flag was unfurled in Fergus last season and he was booed roundly by many many people in the 60000 crowd. Short memories again from many. Fergus should have a statue erected at CP and it would be cheap. Apparently hes not that big :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree about Fergus, Celtic fans turned against him because he made a profit out of his dealings with us, but he saved the club, built us a new stadium and to this day his financial planning is helping Celtic run club on secure foundations. Timalloy

Afternoon ED007, trying to post again.
Just wanted to add my praise to wee pat fae posso, without being patronising he reminds me of the Stanley Baxter, Parliamo Glasgow sketches hilarious,
gaunyerselweeman
Also the posso pat ditty, I think it could be same guy who posted Abba parody a couple of weeks ago, if it is please, please leave a name for us to congratulate you.
Wee pat fae posso and the "unknown songster" I bow to both your penmanship and your wit. Hail hail
Timalloy {Ed007's Note - Got you now Tim mate, welcome back. I am shocked nobody has claimed that song it was priceless, every Ed, even the Rangers ones thought it was brilliant, and so quickly after the match, I should have noted the IP number, but I never thought at the time. Trying to get Wee Pat to do a weekly blog for us with his "unique" take on life, love and football.}

an abba classic in honour of FPLG

# Did you see the shame in Malmo?
# I remember long ago a night in Kaunas just like this
# Well the fans were banned in Malmo,
# No humming of the Sash or softly turning over cars
# I could hear all the manky shame
# at home, all call for Ally's head from bars

# They were close for a while in Malmo
# Every hour, every minute seemed to last eternally
# I was so afraid for Malmo
# The jammy shame so often manage somehow to scrape by
# And I'm not ashamed to say
# The longed-for final whistle almost made me cry

# There was something in the air that night,
# A Glesca flight, from Malmo
# It was Rangers oot the Champions League, sans dignity, in Malmo
# Though we never thought that they could lose, their second leg,
# If they lose another game again,
# Fat Paul Le Guen gets banjoed.

Agree0 Disagree0

Junglebhoy just posted about gers fans saying Thai Tims are brainwashed by us and we sing "gay" songs, you could not make it up how stupid they come across
Hail hail timalloy

Agree0 Disagree0

One of the best songs i have heard was a celtic song and being a liverpudlian i know a good song, remember to the tune of eleanor rigby = goal keeper richie nervous and twitchy when lennox gets hold of the ball ,hoping he'll fall ,john greigh the captain finds himself trapped in a spot in the penalty box by lennox the fox o the lonely people where do they all come from they who once said they were the people where they all belong.
even big provan can't stop the roving of lennox the bomb where did he come from holy saint patrick bobby's great hat trick go down in the anals of frame he played a great game ah the lonely people where do they all come from.
good luck to all fans in scotland and remember its just a game it makes us happy and sad , but we have to go to work on a monday . red mick. {Ed007's Note - Thanks very much Mick, LFC site right?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes from the lfc site , i should have put bow legged bomb, what do you think of this to the tune of i'm a believer its original from me i not many will have heard it ,
oh when sait john he scores a goal for liverpool we'll knock the toffees out the fa cup they out to beat us when they try they'll fail cos the reds are on the wembly trail cos weve got saint john now he's a great leader and when he scores he bangs them in he's a great leader we wont lose with him in are team , sorry if you think i should be on my own site but your fans have the same mentality as us and i just would like to hear from you ie could do better etc (i did this over forty years ago)
red mick tag {Ed007's Note - That's awesome mate, could do with more songs like that up here to help with the sectarian problem. You should see the pi5h jokes and poems Tim comes up with on here, but we have our resident headbanger called Posso Pat, if you can read what he is saying it will crack you up. “The Other Rangers Tax Case” has shot to prominence with the serving of court documents by Sheriff Officers last week.
These documents, contrary to Rangers’ media spin, are part of the process that will lead to a winding up order being issued within a matter of weeks if the £2.8m underpayment and interest bill which the club has already promised to pay, is not paid. The £1.4m in additional penalties, which were not part of the original agreement, can be delayed by initiating an appeal that will start yet another First Tier Tribunal.

Ask yourself how long celtic will last in the scottish league before going under? without the glamour old firm matches sky would loose interrest in scottish football all together pull out then where will that leave celtic? {Ed007's Note - It would be a disaster for CFC and Scottish football if Rangers ceased to exist.}

Agree0 Disagree0

One of the main reasons Celtic may never get a chance to play in England are Rangers fans with them out the picture you never know? {Ed007's Note - That is garbage.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Have to agree with Ed on this, English clubs see no difference between us, just as really we dont know the difference between AC and Inter Milan, to them 'old firm' fans rioted in manchester, no advantage gained for a move to english football...anyway if they go out of business they'll do an airdrie and buy another club and rename it ....Partick Rangers?...Clyde Rangers?

Agree0 Disagree0

Could only happen in Scotland , Livingston , Dundee put into administration by the taxman for a few grand in unpayed taxes , both docked points by the SFL , Hearts threatened with the same fate for owing £200,000 in unpayed tax , but despite a case that has dragged on for many months and culminated in 2 sherriff's officers "visiting" Ibrox last week regarding a non-payment of tax , anywhere between £2.8m and £25m , Rangers are allowed to carry on regardless , without the threat of administration or a points reduction , excuse me , but am i missing something here ? on top of this Scottish referees and football authorities are blatantly doing everything in their power to make sure Rangers survive the financial meltdown that they've been in for the past 3 years or so , every other SPL team are being made to suffer injustices caused by so called "honest mistakes" from referees and SFA officials , its no wonder we are all "paranoid" {Ed007's Note - Let's look at it realistically for a minute. Yes, rules seem to be 'bending' slightly, but what good would it do Scottish football if Rangers went into administration? The points deduction would kill the league stone dead. We would laugh and I more than most would gloat 'I told you so' etc but it would be a disaster in terms of our finances. CFC and Rangers need each other to survive, when it comes to money both clubs have the same goal, to maximise their clubs potential, but to do that the other club needs to be there or there abouts as well. If administration happens then so be it, they will have no one to blame but themselves as did we pre-Fergus. It is the press reaction I would love to see, a hearse outside Ibrox perhaps? A broken Rangers crest across the back page? Rangers are threatening reporters that would dare print anything derogatory about them, and are trying to paint a picture that everything in the garden is rosy when it so obviously isn't. McCoist has landed in a job that his boss doesn't want him in, GS seems to be competing for the World Hide and Seek Championship and player after player, club after club are saying no. Clubs won't give them 'credit' because of the over hanging tax case, sheriff officers turning up at Ibrox, the list goes on. I guess John Greig knew something that every Rangers fan chose to ignore, but what would he know eh?}

We have had to put "skybet" in our filter because they were trying to get free advertising. We have also planted stories that have appeared on their channel as exclusives, I actually think we are one of the infamous "Sky Sports sources understands". At least they got their Fabregas to Barca "exclusive" right yesterday after they have reporting it for the last 3/4 windows.}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Maybe ... just maybe cos like me the majority of posters are prob in work therefore dont have our sky remotes infront of us. {Ed007's Note - That is a very valid point, it's like the newspapers as well, personally I don't mind people posting what is on SSN or in the papers for that very reason. My point was that just because it is on SSN doesn't mean it is 100% true just like here. I could answer people with a load of BS just to get attention or hits for the site but that is not what we want, I will tell people what I know as things stand, but it doesn't mean it is going to happen.}

Sorry to post this stuff to death but I have it from a good source that both Craig Gordon and Craig Bellamy will both be joining on Loan this week. Gordon will be on Loan for the Season and if he proves his fitness this will mature to a permanent deal in the summer, Bellamy has sorted his wage demands between Celtic and MC as Cardiff seem to be unable to strike a deal for him, however his preferred choice was Cardiff and he was holding out for them but this has not materialised.
