have you guys seen the pic of Ledley's leg? looks like he may be out for the weekend with all the holes and swelling he has

ed, can the sfa, spl suspend players if the punishment on the field ie the yellow card is the wrong card? not too mention the refs? because that ref missed or called wrong call on 4-5 points in the match ie ledley leg, handball for us or them pen, red card for handball on heaarts players. if we go by the rules then everything called on sunday was wrong, except hoopers goal cause it is to close to call and he had no advantage and 2cm away from the player is a finger tip but then again we have been called offside when we werr 2-3 feet on, ie stokes break away goal angainst them.

can someone tell me the need to bring flares to a family match i mean adult and a child 7 quid and u bring in flares most were set off during half time wen there were 10 year olds on the pitch

Believable2 Unbelievable0

I think we all know there's no need and a bit of a let down but i'm sure you don't need me to tell you that. Mrs E

Agree3 Disagree0

Personally not got anything against flares at matches, so long as they aint used in a stupid manner. IE on the plastic seats, christ ypu can hold hem and stamp thm out if you aint a complete tool... although there are a fair few of them in the celtic support.

So whats the problem there?? I feel flares add to an atmosphere and am fed up with the hoity toity H&S crap at all public events these days!

Fair enough if there was a large gathering of children at the loccation directly beside the flare there could be a wee issue with the smoke. However generally speaking the areas these are let off are not in the family stand!.

Maybe youl disagree maybe not. I like flares at football. Poznan with the whole rear of the stand flared up, its a great site. Or the Camp Nou, mestalla or the Bernabau without it etc all adds to a cool atmosphere IMO!

Evinguu

Agree1 Disagree0

Oh calm down, any excuse to have a go at Celtic. Can you explain how holding a flare in the stands affects a 10 year old standing on the pitch.

Just a question 2 start a litlle debate - Do you think the result was fair? Considering all the decisions from the officials. Andy

Believable0 Unbelievable3

Even after the ref missed or made calls on 4-5 things that could have changed the game aside from that it should have went into extra time and have a team win it there. that being said if the game was called right, hearts should have been down 2 man at the very lease down 1. all this talk about our goal being offside has no reasoning for first it is too close to call because maybe 2 cm away from players and 2nd everyone should check the rules, for if they do,everyone cant possibly say that the ref did not have a HUGE impact on the game for all the wrong reasons. look at the rules and look at the 4-5 facts challenges missed and there is no argument to say the ref was right.

Agree2 Disagree0

The ref was right : utter b****cks , it wasn't a penalty , he got things wrong big time. Collum was on telly last week saying refs were willing to talk after the game explaining deciscions to management about it , well we're still waiting on him telling us his interpretation on why Stokesy would dive in the league cup final . It's not just in Scotland but all over Europe that you are starting to see bad calls . It's not as if they are not well paid ,they all have good incomes like lawyers , surveyors ,etc . They make in one game (90 mins) what most people don't earn in a month . There is too many trying to be bigger than the actual game we pay too see ,they see themselves on telly and get above themselves . The worst is they break the hearts of fans who pay good money to watch ther team every week . I'm only asking for them to be consistent........DH

Evening Pat, how are you this fine Radio Clyde evening, did you hear "our" Alex?
I think we should all sing this at next Celtic match...
"We've got Timmy, Timmy Thomson in the wings...." "Timmy, oh Timmy Thomson, Timmy Thomson in the wings...
hail hail Timalloy

Agree3 Disagree0

ED007 I never heard all off Timalloys knew hero's interview tonight but what I did hear he didn't tell us anything we didn't know already, ok we are going 2 find out there is some bampot journo who likes 2 slap people on twitter bit like the guy joe o'rourke who thinks it would have been alright for prods 2 die on the titanic spouting off on twitter, so did I miss anything as I was off showing my silky skills at fives tonight, so didn't hear it all & thats right timalloy I could rip the pish oot off you with a baw at ma feet
NTYABOW {Ed007's Note - He just ripped Keevins and Hannah a new one mate, there is a link posted somewhere. It's worth hearing just for that.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I did hear him rip keevins but what I did hear of him I was quite impressed, I think Timalloy has just taken the bits he likes 2 hear, beacause as far as I could make out the guy doesn't have an agenda against RANGERS he is just reporting what other journo's should have been doing & maybe we wouldn't be in the mess we are in, I know this is a tricky question but do you know who the nutcase journo is or can't you say on here as thompson says we will find out anyway in due course, on another note I seen you were ripping some of my fellow bears today, so does having some1 like me not saying I am bamber gascoigne but I can argue my point well give you some hope, suppose I am a bit crazy though as I can't make out who I fancy the most the green jhedi or oh oh julie
NTYABOW {Ed007's Note - As it is now with the police we can't gossip about it mate (but don't pay much attention to Twatter), it is the same on all of the sites and could harm our Google accreditation. The Man Utd site was a nightmare during the 'super-injunction' stuff. It was just a shame Hayley actually took me to court over it, but it's her loss :-) Thompson has bigger fish to fry, he really doesn't care about Rangers, it is the bigger picture of corruption and the poor standards of Scottish journalism he is attacking. You know all Rangers fans are welcome on here if they can hold a sensible conversation, I put up with you don't I?}

Joe {Ed007's Note - It will be shortly Joe.......You seem to be another schizophrenic Rangers fan who can't decide on his name. Check your underwear Joe (or BB1) and see what name your mum wrote in it, the chances are that will be your real name unless you have borrowed someone else's boxers. Is your parentage that diverse that it is your first name you aren't sure of? Now who feels like a clown?}

More like the awkward moment a rangers fan tries to slag a celtic fan then realises they were out of every competition (alright except the Scottish Cup) before the New Year and lost a 15 point lead. For a former player to make some of these comments is a disgrace. Dont know how much this site is related to Rangers but to allow this to be printed is disusting.

Believable4 Unbelievable1

I dont think for a minute it is the ex player who wrote it mate.I would urge everyone to have a look at this cos if it is linked OFFICIALLY to rankers they might be in trouble.Another reference to the Famine is treading dodgy ground.Having said that it just gives you a peek into the mind of the writer to confirm what we all know,they have far more bigots than they let on........green jhedi {Ed007's Note - The Rangers Supporters Trust have also been reported and had to issue a grovelling apology the other day because of a message one of it's administrators put on their official FB page.}

Agree2 Disagree0

Digusting article, pretending to be "intelligent" all it says is they all hate us, they all need us, rangers are picked on but we dont complain. also contains a sly reference about returning to famines. altough even he admitted the rules were changed especially for them but that said it was to hurt them not help cant remember any other liquidated club being allowed straight back into spl.
one of the worst bits was "no one offers us help, but we didnt ask for any", both wrong.Utterly delusional

Agree2 Disagree0

Green Jhedi, I just posted on rumours site to ignore these cretans, they are still trying to bring Celtic's reputaion down like their own. Guess they have nothing left to do but try and sling mud at Celtic. But Jhedi as Supporters of Celtic we are better than that, just ignore their twisted little barbs. hail hail Timalloy

Agree2 Disagree0

Totally sums up why they do need a morality lesson but the irony is probably lost on the writer of this. Also, the rangers supporters trust boycotting away grounds because they don't like the new Financial Fair Play Regulations..that has to be a laugh out loud moment. Wonder why they don't like financial fair play ? Mrs E

Just one question to ask. Do you think we would have won the game if the officials got some decisions right??

Believable5 Unbelievable4

I was looking forward to extra time which was the correct thing to happen as neither team deserved to win in 90 mins. If it had went to extra time we would have just scraped a win as you could see Hearts getting tiered and we were getting stronger.

Listen, the ref had a complete shocker and i'm sure if we were rangers that pen would not have been given. But the main point is the team has to go and get a centre half of real quality. I think Rogne is a good player with some potential we just need a quality partner for him. The midfield is very strong but maybe another winger as we have really only got forrest. Up front is becoming a real problem Hooper and stokes are not quality strikers
neither Samaras, we need to sign once again someone with real quality(a Jelavic) type of striker who can acutely header the ball. If we don't sign these type of players we can kiss good-bye to the champions league. HH

I want lennon confrunting poor referees about poor decisions, the only way to sort it is to point it out to the men in black to have a look at themselves. As for all these so called Celtic fans saying he should act in a manner befitting a celtic manager please behave! I'm sure if to quote a former manager we took it on the chin and moved on then you'd all be on hear shouting for his head. It wasn't just the penalty decision that was poor by the ref, there was mr blacks shocking over the ball straight leg kick at joe ledley which he only received a yellow, then there was the same said mr blacks deliberate hand ball which went un punnished, Celtics goal slight offside when ball came in. So all in all big decisions wrong by the ref. Needs to be highlighted if we are to improve the standard in this country.

DD

Believable6 Unbelievable2

But Lenny thinks your goal was onside?

Agree5 Disagree3

I thought when it was close for offside the attacker was given the benefit of doubt as it was extremely close yesterday i dont think it should have been given as offside they were just about level personally i dont think offside should be called unless there is daylight between the attacker and defender and did anyone notice how quick they were to point out that technicly hooper was offside by 3 or 4 inches ffs
bigD

Agree4 Disagree1

He was still offside. If Hearts scored a goal from the same offside position yous would be going off your nut and Neil Lennon would be shooting everyone in site!!

TTG..a bit of a poor choice of words ?! Ach its over now, if you had told me in October during all the 4iar, mind the gap, santa's delivering the title, rangers & motherwell are in europe next season blah blah etc that we would win the league after overturning a 15 point deficit and the only thing rangers would be in was adminsitration then I would have been quite happy :-) Mrs E

right lads time to get a bit more realistic here, we crack on about biased referees, and and yesterdays penalty that was NEVER a penalty, but we need to take off he green tinted glasses, It was never a goal, he was a yard offside, and ki dived and should have been sent off, and he missed 2 stonewall sitters into the bargain. Nobody but US to blame for losing, and as for Lenny, he's turning into an embarassement, confronting the ref for all the world to see, Rangers have had the season of pure hell, or glee for me lol, but only won the league, Thats not acceptable. We need somebody to take us forward, not shout and scream like a petulant wee boy when things dont go his way, he knows we support him, but now he's using that to protect himself. For gods sake lenny show a bit of decorum, a bit of grace, a bit of maturity, and that'll take you a fair distance in bettering yourself
Harrybhoy

Believable8 Unbelievable4

I agree with your comments no penalty but Hooper offside unfortunately we just dont seem to turn up in the big games but lets keep faith in this young team. People keep forgetting how young they actually are. As for Lenny I'm behind him 100%, sure tactics been wrong on a couple of occasions but he's manager of Celtic, won the league for us when many had written us off.
Welshbhoy

Agree0 Disagree2

Hooper was never a yard offside and since when would you get sent off for a dive rangers fan in disguise nugget

Agree2 Disagree2

Yard...mile.. Offside is offside..hooper was always ahead of pkay and at no point was he behind the defender prior to cross being made...hearts pen was never a pen..and ball hit websters hip not hand..should hav been 1-0 hearts..end of

Welshbhoy,

The Celtic team might be young but it isn't that young. Some of those players were signed for relatively high transfer fees, you would expect them to do better.

Neil Lennon claimed a lot of these players could currently cut-it in the EPL. Who is he trying to kid?

16 Apr 2012 09:21:44
After calming down and some reflection on yesterdays performance, although the 'penalty' was very harsh - did we do enough to deserve the victory? Not really, but we deserved the chance to win it in extra-time. I had concerns before the match about Hampden, and felt we needed an early goal (as usual) to settle us into our rhythm. We can't seem to get our quick passing game going at Hampden for some reason. Paolo Sergio got his own tactics bang on and we just couldn't answer quickly enough.
I have felt the balance of the side has not been quite right all season. We have no real creative midfielders. Since Mulgrew hit his purple patch, I feel we have come to rely on him and his attacking deliveries too much. He is, ironically, our best centre-half at times. Izzy can't get back in the team for him at left-back. Young McGeough was lively though. Only small adjustments are needed to this side. Youth is on its side as well. We'll be stronger next season.
A wee message to Neil Lennon. We understand your passion and frustration but pick battles you can win mate. Your no good stuck in the stand again for 5 games or whatever they throw at you. You come across as a thoughtfull, intelligent and witty man. Use that intelligence and wit and use the media to YOUR advantage. Don't fall into the traps. Only gives ammunition to others.

Disappointed after yesterday however spl title, one cup final, one cup semi-final not too shabby a return this season. Lennon needs to calm down a bit though. Very young team with such a bright future. He needs to mature and accept there are often poor decisions (just look at Chelsea decision yesterday! You don't see Harry running on to confront the ref).
We won the main one in the league title. I don't hear people criticising Man Utd for if they only win the one trophy this year.
Well done Celtic, now lets build up to European football again and be ready for it when it arrives. Oh and continue paying our taxes :-P.
