Happy to see that young Scott Robertson was part of a winning team in their 1-1 draw against Coventry, with Gillingham getting through 5-4 on penalties. Robertson scored with one of the penalties.

I rate this guy highly and think he could take over the captaincy in a few years, as like Broony he has a bit of an attitude and dig about him and similarly to Brown, the fecker doesn't smile!

What about christie as wb has plenty of energy left footed could bring a balance to the team there.

By that description McGregor would be a better fit but as we've seen in the past playing players out of position is a recipe for disaster. Hard to ask someone who's spent the majority of their career training and playing in one position to suddenly change. Its rare that it works out.

I think Christie would be better than Forrest in LWB
But I’ve never been a fan of Brown, Calmac and Ntcham in the same midfield.
If Christie was moved wide,
I would bring Turnbull or Elyounoussi into the middle to replace him.

Not for me. Christie gives the ball away way too often to play in that position. We would be caught out.

The way Christie shoots-on-sight, we might discover a new Tommy Gemmell ha ha. Seriously though Danny McGrain played both sides to International standard so why are more defenders not made to work on their weaker foot? It used to be basic coaching when I took training to practice, not only your skills, but especially your weaknesses; however, this is a position we have had problems with for years.

Brilliant CM we have a problem being left footers, who would have thunk it 😂.

I would play Taylor at LWB on Wednesday to bring more stability to the team.
Playing both Ajer and Forrest together on their weaker side is asking for trouble.
Our lineup when we started playing the 3-5-2 in January against Kilmarnock only had 3 outfield changes on Saturday.
Duffy played instead of Jozo on the right side of a back 3,
Hayes instead of Forrest at LWB and Ajeti in place of Griffiths partnering Edouard up top.
That isn't many changes which makes me more optimistic we will soon start to play to that high standard we set after the winter break.
Celtic also have more options than we had last season with several Internationals on our bench at Dingwall.

Agree buzz don't like players out of position stick with Taylor till we get someone in. we need a balance and again I would play julien on the left duff in middle and ajer on the right.

We have a referee on Wednesday who has given 11 penalties in his last 25 games.
If an opposition attacker takes on either Ajer or Forrest on their outside,
It wouldn’t be ideal for them trying to tackle in the box with their weaker foot especially Forrest who is a winger himself.
I still reckon if we played Ajer on the right side of a back 3
He would become a contender for player of the year.

Put el hammed in the back 3 and Ajer at wing back would be a better shout if you ask me.

Said it the other day as well and it has to be Taylor at LWB every time ahead of Forrest for me, yes a wing back has to be good going forward but he also has to be able to defend well. I think until we get someone else in it has to be Taylor.

Frimpong plays both sides so would play him on the left and elhamed on the right.
