Commiserations Celtic, unfortunately off field antics have detracted from a very good season.Both sides have played some terrific football this season, guys like Kayal, Izaguirre, Weiss and Jelavic have been terrific additions to the spl.I'm looking forward to next season already McCoist will be looking to strengthen and undoubtably has a hard act to follow, Celtic will hit us with everything they have, maybe the spl isn't the best league in the world but for excitement and drama it's hard to beat, it's a great feeling to win this season after being pushed all the way, gives far more satisfaction than the one horse race last year and long may it continue.
Good luck next year(not too good though)

Nah they're not really signing as far as I know but I thought I may as well get these names out the way before the summer starts given they'll more than likely appear on here every day until the transfer window closes as has been the case for the past 5 years.
In terms of real rumours I've heard the following:
+ Gianvito Plasmati (6'6 Italian striker, apparently he's been on trial the past month. The type of striker we need so I believe it.)
+ Garry O'Connor (free agent, training with us to keep his fitness up and we're having a look in the process. He's also mates with Stokes.).
As for the Allardyce managerial rumour I highly doubt it. I realise that he didn't win the league but for the board it'll be a case of for once they have a manager in place that the fans are 100% behind and have belief in for next season and whom the fans are willing to give another chance (and thus guaranteed gate reciepts which let's face it regardless of silverware is the top priority).
I don't see the board sacking Lennon for anything other than his controversial media outbursts and conduct with the bans etc. earlier in the season and if they do I highly doubt Allardyce is the man to replace him as he's not exactly a manager without controversy and a loose cannon himself when it comes to media handling.
Your quite right about allardyce being a loose cannon but with his knowledge as a ranger fan i would be worried if the like of him came north but the fans love neil lennon so i will think he will keep his job for another year the trouble is he believes every thing he says and before all you celtic fan start moaning there out to get us look at the history of your club and that in its self will tell you or should tell you you can't be as successful as celtic or any other club if everyones out to get you as for decisions against ask a supporter of any other football club and they will all say us as will {Ed007's Note - Allardyce is one of the most over rated managers of this generation. It would be a sad day if he ever got a sniff of the Celtic job at any time, anyway I can't see Lennon leaving}

Well that's it, we didn't win the league, but i don't think ive ever felt more upbeat after us losing a league in my life ! the fans were incredible today, at the end you would have thought we had won the league. but that's what celtic are all about , we are celtic supporters, faithful through and through. bring on next season. Don, t get me wrong what Lennon has been through is a disgrace. The problem is the board will be forced to extend his contract due to the wave of blind "love" from the terraces. . the man has won NOTHING! Huge budget and his only competition on it's knees. Very disappointed today. We gave the bhoys all the support we could but I don't think rangers were ever gonna throw it away today. Extremely proud of the team for their effort this season. I'm not bitter so congratulations to rangers but I do feel that we threw it away in the end. Hopefully a few experienced players in the summer to turn us from runners up into scottish champions once again. Hail Hail.
