Pre season friendly could be 2 separate teams. 1 each half i know this is a mini tournament but its all about getting the squad up to speed. Be a lot of changes.

Agree Ninja I'm sure we did the same last season not sure if Lennon will do the same but maybe first 2 games 2 different teams and maybe the PSG game will be close to our starting 11 for first competitive game of the season.

I would start with that for 30mins to 45 mins then put some changes into in depending on where the players are with fitness a second team could be

Shouldn't we be using these games to fine tune the best team selection, this playing one team in the first half and then another one in the second half makes no sense to me, I would start with the best available team, (I wouldn't start Brown, try Robertson, (?, ) , instead) , and then take off Eddy, and replace him with Boya,

Totally agree. I think not giving these lads a chance including the others is wastefull let's see what they can do against these french stars. Wether they can cut it have potential or even maybe an amazing find. Can't wait.

I’m not sure if that will be the case, Kjaer is 31 and doesn’t truly suit AC Milan’s current set up, I understand he played nearly every game last season on loan, but Milan seem to fire cash into young players. I also read a couple articles stating that it’s the Milan board that are trying to push it through. Obviously that could be completely fabricated. I hope you’re right Kev.

In an ideal situation we could sell Ajer and bring in a couple of players at the same Quality of Jullien?

I don't think we should sell Ajer. He's the only player that we currently have, bar maybe McGregor, that has the passion and leadership to be our next captain. I think once broony finally hangs his boots up we're going to have a real lack of leadership and I think Ajer could be the one to step up.

Kjaer is 31 and settled at Milan, I doubt he’d be moving any time soon.

Also, i really think Ajer needs to move to become a top player. He’s definetley got the potential and the ability to be up there. Just needs to have the right platform to progress. He was a CDM prior to his move to Celtic and Rodgers transformed him into a CB with a move to Killie as his beginning point.

He’s one of the players we’ve done a really good job with he’s just prone to mistakes you wouldn’t expect a 22 year old with over 200 appearances at senior level. Once his decision making is sorted and he gets even more experience at a higher level we’ll see the real player he is.

Look at his price tag and the interest in him from all over. Italy, Germany, Spain, England. They’re the top four leagues and that’s where he’ll go next.
