Tony - you portray yourself as the friendly Rangers supporter on our site and that you're just up for the banter.

Care to explain your comment on the Rangers site and in particular, what is wrong with Celtic going to Dublin, and how does it relate to Rangers visiting Belfast:

What trouble is caused by celtic going to dublin to pamper the irish element of our support, if this causes trouble why do you lot like ourselves go to the us, australia, europe etc on pre season tours it is certainly not for the meaningless friendlies its to in your words pamper the support from these countries who cannot like some afford to go to every game and see the team they support, when teams go abroad to play in these tournaments they are paid handsomely be it the dublin super cup, emirates cup or there tours as the extra revenue comes in very handy,

Can't wait. Looking forward to the squad Lenny put together progressing further this season, complimented by the new signings. He did a great job last year in his first season with a new young team. {Ed007's Note - It should be a very interesting season}

cheers Ed.still looking for a partner for hooper.wanyama cost a few bucks he must go straight next wilson.we cant afford to pay money for squad players.a good keeper and striker and i think we are ready.hail hail {Ed007's Note - I agree, I don't think we are that far away, depends on exits as well though.}

I still think(and i will take stick for this)we should cash in on izzy.wallace would be a good replacement with plenty of cash to add to the kitty.we all have the same opinion on who should go but it will not be that easy.they are on good money and may need a shove in the right direction to move them on.i know the club will be working hard in the back ground to help lenny build our title winning sqaud. Tony {Ed007's Note - IMO for what it is worth, Diouf was only at Rangers for 5/6 months, this time next year hopefully even Rangers fans won't remember him. He is by far one of the worst examples of a professional footballer ever. That is nothing to do with him being at Rangers. Look at his entire career he stumbled from one crisis to another, and even now he has went AWOL from Blackburn after taunting team mates, who were fighting a relegation battle, with an SPL winners medal before a match. Managers, ex-team mates, ex-players and the press do not like him as a man, they can't all be wrong. All of this he done this, but he done that will go nowhere, there is no reason to argue over Diouf who was after all only a bit part player in Rangers winning the league, the sooner he is forgotten the better it will be for football as a whole.}

Glad to see most Celtic fans are not jumping to defend what sutton done as it is indefensible but you always get one or two small minded morons who will try

Take the pis* out of both of them like he normally does with bougie (every major european team & epl team wants to sign me) and who ever else partners him in central defence

He certainly took the pi5h out of the rangers defence last year along with every other spl club with his free scoring ability

look at the stats m8 the worst goal scoring percentage for a striker in the spl

He did a job in January did he not? I sense a bit of selective memory there Tony (I do remember the missed penalty before you start). Don't get me wrong, I think he's rank rotten but Samaras's biggest assets are holding the ball up and running with it (If only he had the brain to know when to pass). On his day he's a very good player, unfortunately for us celts that day is few and far between. Stats don't show the game, there's more to being a forward than scoring goals.

All i was getting at Dunc was he hardly took the pi55 out of the rangers defence

and as for the penalty i dont think that can be classed as a miss it was a great save Samaras could not have hit it better.

In January he ran the show in all fairness to him, scoring 2 and winning the penalty. Not bad in any strikers books. Consistency is the problem, not ability I reckon. But your right, throughout the season he couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo. Never mind, we still have Hooper to pick up the slack.

lenny himself said that he is interested in signing sunderland keeper craig gordon, maybe on loan, i think he would be a great signing but might cost too much [as sunderland paid 9m for gordon a few years ago] what do u think ed? {Ed007's Note - With the GKs Sunderland have and Gordon with only a year left on his contract, SAFC could be open to a move just to get him off their wage bill. With The recently signed Keiran Westwood along with Simon Mignolet, Gordon's chances could be limited once he is fully fit}
