Use our rumours form to send us celtic transfer rumours.

15 Dec 2020 21:43:51
Buzz started it so I'll keep the theme going. If you were offered a change of heart and a red, white and blue scarf tomorrow. Got to watch them (they'd be your team) win everything and even the champions league to celebrate. Would you accept the offer or would you choose to watch Celtic play and win nothing? There are bigger questions in life lads than ten in a row. Goodnight and God Bless. Keep the Faith. ☘️ jfp.

Hypothetically, if I was offered the league this season in return for Sundays SC Final and the SC later in the season I'd take it.
Anyone disagree? HH.

15 Dec 2020 19:08:04
Would you accept them winning the Europa league if it meant Celtic clinched 10 in a row?

15 Dec 2020 19:08:36
Want them all if I’m honest 😳.

Agree1 Disagree0

15 Dec 2020 19:12:38
I'd rather win this weeks final but happy to give up this seasons SC in return for them dropping 4 points before we go to ibrox.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Dec 2020 19:17:17
Wow Buzz Bomb that's a cracker. I guess if it takes them to get to the final for us to claw back the points then I suppose I would be fine with that. but to win it, not so sure!

Agree1 Disagree0

15 Dec 2020 19:22:47
The Cup Final is always special for Celtic and when it's the chance of a quadruple treble - what better way to get back on track for 10.

Agree1 Disagree0

15 Dec 2020 19:29:01
Buzz NAW but I’d accept them getting to the final having to accommodate the same number of game as we did only to lose the league on the last day of the season and win sweet feck all. I wouldn’t wish them luck in a raffle.

Just watching a re run of Sunday's game against kille. Was interesting to hear we Gordon strachan mention (and not for the first time) how he would like to see edouard play in a similar position as Dennis bergkamp did for arsenal! Can anyone remember his position? And how would our formation look like if we played him there?
Thoughts! 🍀.

Haha wyllie67 as much as I’d probably prefer that change it would mean that we’d have lost a game or dropped points so hopefully 🙏 not lol.

15 Dec 2020 19:51:15
Said a few times eddy doesn't have the killer instinct of a hooper type. I'd like to see him partnered up front unlikely to happen though giving the preference to play 1 up.

15 Dec 2020 20:55:02
Mmcdynw10. I agree, but he’s such a talented player I just think we need to find a system that suits him and get the most outa him 👍.

15 Dec 2020 15:38:28
With the manager saying he was going to play the players that got us to the final on Sunday, does anyone else feel that it’s a bit pointless for team morale?
As we all know since Turnbull soro and hazard have came in, the teams performances have looked a lot better . To reward them, they are to be dropped for players either out of form, or not too interested in being here . What then happens, are the same players all dropped again which will upset them, or will they stay in the team, which will then upset the young lads that have came in!
Surely it would be better for the players in form to be played, the ones who aren’t making the team for Sunday have had all season to make an impression which none of them have, or else we wouldn’t be in the predicament we are in now.

Why would you expect anything else Neil Lennon has zero leadership skills, and there is no-one at Parkhead he could learn some from.

Agree1 Disagree0

15 Dec 2020 16:57:50
Quinn he needs to play Turnbull, Soro and Hazard. I think Neil Lennon is loyal and maybe even too loyal but the one thing he isn’t is daft. If he reverts to the old guard as you say he demoralises the players that have turned a bad run around even if he wins the cup. That impacts on the league. Plus he knows if he plays the loyalty card and loses the end is nigh. I just can’t see him risking it pals or no pals. Brown should on the bench to lift the cup.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Dec 2020 17:13:38
If we lose the final, due to multiple changes that jeopardizes the wee bit of momentum we have managed. there will be no hiding place.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Dec 2020 17:16:50
He's tried to be loyal but he's going to hopefully look after himself. If he reverts back to the non triers then obviously he's learned nothing and deserves what will come his way.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Dec 2020 17:57:35
He's got to be having a laugh. These same boy's are the reason we have had a bad run of results. Sooner we see the back of Ntcham, Edouard and Christie the better.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Dec 2020 18:11:53
Better selling Eddy and Ntcham and buying two French doors.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Dec 2020 19:55:18
What happens if brown has a stormer does wee soro get back in or does he stick with brown, I just think he’s giving himself an unnecessary head ache. I know it’s a nice head ache for most managers but it could easily discourage the boy.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Dec 2020 20:11:41
Stephbhoy81 was thinking the same if he brings those who have failed miserably and win comfortably you probably won’t see Turnbull, Soro, or Hazard much for the rest of the season.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Dec 2020 20:42:32
Turnbull's in for keeps. Unless his form merits being dropped there's no way he won't be one of a 3 man midfield.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Dec 2020 21:22:12
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it, especially if it was broke then fixed already.

May be he is just playing mind games? Or is that to subtle? Hh.

Agree0 Disagree0

16 Dec 2020 13:12:58
Scott brown will start and I'm not opposed to that. Soro has done well but the big game experience will be important. I expect turnbull to start with Christie in for Frimpong. Two changes from the Killie game.

15 Dec 2020 06:32:15
The bold Peter says we've spent 35 mill since 2019 doesn't mention what we brought in on sales and players who left. oh and how much of that 35 has been wasted on dross.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

15 Dec 2020 09:37:09
KT went for £25 in August 2019 so in reality they spent £10 and as you say Mally, you just have to google our teansfers-in during the last two seasons to see how much has been squandered and how many players have been booted out the back door (mostly on loan) .
The recruitment was questionable at times under the previous manager, but we have wasted a lot of money these past two years?

Agree2 Disagree0

15 Dec 2020 10:45:43
Apart from KT,
Celtic have received undisclosed fees for Sinclair, Morgan, Kouassi and Atchison.
That would be at least £5 million which means Celtic have only spent about £5 million on transfers in the last 2 years.
If the truth be told Celtic have made money in transfers over the last 10 years.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Dec 2020 11:09:55
Pedro thinks we're all daft. seriously how can he come out with this tosh. and we signed the Adidas deal as well as record st money.

Agree1 Disagree0

15 Dec 2020 11:40:18
If you go along with what PL says 35 m spent on players that is far more than any other team in the SPFL so question this why have we been struggling on the pitch? why are we at the moment 13 points adrift? okay with 2 games in hand but still struggling you can't say money can get you success but a good manager and money would get you success for sure So why Peter?

Agree1 Disagree0

15 Dec 2020 12:23:06
Tony your right the nett spend taking account of what players were sold for is absolutely irrelevant. Peter hath spoken (theological term) and telleth the truth. We’ve spent £35 million which nobody else in Scotland can come close too. But was it well spent? If not why not? If it is considered it was why are we not the ones top of the league and they’re no as the song goes.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Dec 2020 12:33:51
Win our 2 games and it's 7 points lise on the 2nd and it's over. how did we get in this mess. but reading what was said at the AGM you'd think there was nothing to worry about.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Dec 2020 12:53:36
Mally there’s a lot of football to be played yet.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Dec 2020 13:59:09
There is jfp but we look more like dropping points than them and that's the problem. unless we go on a run and lenny gets his line up right but am expecting the usual suspects back for final.

Agree1 Disagree0

15 Dec 2020 14:31:33
Mally I think when Neil reflects he will come to the conclusion Turnbull, Taylor and Soro must start. Brown on the bench as standby and to lift the cup. Hazard in goals. The Jambos will be right up for it playing well by all accounts. Big wide park Nelly Noosy needs to make an impact.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Dec 2020 15:06:37
Not sure about Taylor he always hits the defender when crossing i would play laxalt.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Dec 2020 15:42:32
Mally I thought he’d a good game the other night? In games we need to defend I’d play Taylor I think he’s tidy but maybe Hampden is one for Laxalt.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Dec 2020 18:30:06
I would play Taylor with Laxalt ahead of him as a winger, we need more width and Moi doesn't provide it.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Dec 2020 19:00:01
Agree about width but Moi is our top scorer. Leaving him out would be madness. Especially when Laxalt has offered next to nothing down the wing. His crossing is poor.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Dec 2020 19:48:41
We have spent by far the most money in the past year and a bit but if things stay as they are upto the 2nd January and if we don't win that game we would need them to drop points in other games. The league would be out of our hands by the 2nd January that is ridiculous for a team that has as PL says spent so much money with no return yet the board think we are going in the right direction How does that work?

Considering Celtic have won the most Scottish cups, I'm surprised the 2019 victory was the first time Celtic had won the Scottish Cup 3 years in a row.
Celtic came really close on a couple of times over the years.
Celtic were stopped from winning 3 Scottish Cup finals in a row when the cup was withheld in 1909 due to the Hampden riot in a match involving Celtic and Rangers.
The replay finished in a draw and the fans were outraged when the game wasn't going to Extra Time.
The reckoned a 3rd game was a money making scheme by the SFA.
The fans joined forces and set fires inside Hampden and fought with the Police which lasted hours.
Celtic also came close after the 1990 Scottish cup final against Aberdeen finished goalless after Extra Time.
I think Celtic lost something like 9-8 on Penalties in the first Scottish cup final penalty shootout.
I was beginning to wonder that Celtic were never going to win 3 Scottish Cup Finals In A Row in my lifetime.
It was brilliant when Celtic managed to win the Treble Treble and if Celtic can be the first club to win a 4th consecutive Scottish cup final and also add a Quadruple Treble to that achievement, it would be a dream come true for Celtic Supporters All Over The World.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

14 Dec 2020 23:54:31
Celtic will achieve a historical World Record Quadruple Treble on Sunday if we beat Hearts.
No Scottish club has ever won 4 Scottish cup finals in a row.
It's been attempted 7 times before, twice by Queens Park and Vale of Leven before Celtic were formed.
Since Celtic were formed Rangers have achieved consecutive Scottish cup victories on 3 separate occasions.
Aberdeen also achieved 3 consecutive Scottish cup wins in the 1980s and all the finals were won in Extra Time.
When Rangers and Aberdeen attempted to win a 4th Scottish Cup in a row, it was Celtic that went on to win the Scottish Cup on each of the 4 occasions.
Hopefully Celtic will be the first Scottish Club to win 4 Scottish Cup Finals In A Row.
