I've just got back from the match. What a brilliant performance that was.
These last couple of years have been a great time to be a Celtic supporter and today they made me feel 10 feet tall.
I wonder how those clowns who were celebrating drawing us in this semi final are feeling tonight, fairly stupid I would imagine. But then as has happened before they do their bragging before the match, we do ours after the final whistle.

Tam I totally disagree with respect my friend the real reason they hate Broony is that we love him and don’t care a jot about his religion or boyhood affiliation with the Huns and that he now bleeds green and white and is adored by the fans and has earned the right to be remembered as a great Celtic captain. As Mr Stein said Celtic weren’t my first love but they’ll be my last and Broony is on record recently as saying there will be no club after Celtic. Add to that the online abuse he got from them when his sister died. The bottom line is we have a non-catholic captain who has grown to love us and it matters not a jot to us while they will never get there. We are a football club open to all with a stand named after our greatest manager who did not grow up in the Celtic tradition. They will never do that because they are fundamentally anti-catholic bigots. That’s why they hate Broony and it’s why Broony loves us not because he was meant to sign for them. ☘️.

I completely understand that people on here love Griffiths (I do too) but I just cannot get my head round why anybody thought he should start ahead of Dembele against that mob today. He's shown time and time again he is THE man for the big occasion and always delivers against them. It got to a point in the first half where their CBs weren't even challenging him in the air, just letting him take it down because they knew they had no chance. What a performance.

I have to laugh at Brendan's link to Chelsea the day before a Glasgow derby.
Lennon won 3 titles, Champions League football after Christmas and the best he got was Bolton because winning titles in Scottish football wasn't seen as any great achievement.
Delia won 2 titles, Europa League football after Christmas and only got a move back to a mid-table Norwegian team.

What's everyone's thoughts on Phil Mac and JJ? Seen on here a couple of times from ed and GJ (I think) not very complimentary about them. I do read a lot of their blogs and articles as they seem to be very clued up about the goings on over at ibrox.
Have I missed something about why they may not be popular?
{Ed007's Note - Phil's OK but he took the huff with me when he fell for the Guinness April Fools prank I pulled a few years back. He lost his head up his own arse years ago but he is good at what he does. James Forrest's articles are usually a good read and Pat Anderson's Paddyontherailway blog is well written and funny, I'd recommend Pat's books as well.
JJ is another kettle of fish altogether - total fantasist who just publishes what Jack Irvine tells him to, most of the comments are written by JJ too and all the death threats, living in hiding etc are just made up nonsense to try and garner sympathy to get easily led mugs to give him money, even though he'll recieve money from GoogleAds, he could cut his costs by using the free version of Wordpress too instead of paying for it. The ppv articles are just rehashed cut n pastes from other people's websites that are free to view.
Would you still come on here if I kept asking you for money (I do this for free*) and I only published posts from people who 'donated' and - more importantly - only posts that agreed with me or blew sunshine up my butt? How can he justify charging people for a one page blog?
It's because of lying begging tramps like JJ that I have persistently told Ed001 to put a Paypal button on all of the sites as there's some months him and Ed033 struggle to cover the costs of the sites never mind money for themselves to live on. Just have the button there and if people want to help out they will, if they don't then that's fine too but we should have them imo. I would prefer not to see Boyata starting today - not just because of his nightmare at Ibrox - but I think he will be nervy and a prime candidate to lose possession, concede free kicks (or a penalty) and get himself sent off.
Apart from that we should have plenty about us to do the job, as long as they all 'turn up' and perform the way they can.
If there happens to be one or two not on their game, we have a fully fit squad and plenty options on the bench.

OaB I said start of week Hendry Ajer Jozo Tierney, that was before Ed said Hendry was cup tied so I would probably just go for Lustig Ajer Jozo Tierney. Have to say if Boyata starts I have faith im him to do the business. I've seen a lot more good in him than bad so fingers crossed.

And the time is upon us. Last season we did what many thought, myself included, impossible, an undefeated treble. Just think about that. Incredible, and another yardstick that sevco will never emulate, or like their previous club, die trying.
Today we are one step from the Cup Final. In our way is a team from this league. A team who still seem to think that they are somehow seen in the same standing as us. They are not. Strip away the noise and the ludicrous views of assorted media commentators, this is an average SPL team.
Our players will know that they are two games from becoming part of a legendary side, ranked higher than the Centenary team. Madden as ref, a pitch, from what i seen yesterday, that needs it's grass cutting and the whole country wanting us to fail.
The facts are, if we give them nothing they will have nothing. Defend properly and play through them. like we always do. This is a team who function on the break and play at a high tempo, early crosses and such, this should not be hard to stop if defenders and trackers do their job. Do our jobs and we will be fine.
Footballers live for the big games. This is massive. Not because of who we are playing but what we can achieve. We are doing things no other club has. that's proper history, not like the kind you buy like so much toilet paper.
Stand in that tunnel, puff out your chest and look them in the eye. look at your team mates, would you swap any of ours for theirs? this is our time.
Go and become legends.
