What have we learnt tonight? St Mirren can park a bus better than the Sevies. Last 2 games opposition refusing to come out their own half. Got to be better against tactics like this cos I've got a feeling we're going to face games like this many more times this season.

Alot of bus parking this season how we would love to have Paddy noi.

Has that the first time you have watched Celtic. Nearly ever team packs the defence against us.

We couldn’t win more than 3 SPl games in a row last season, looks like the same this season. Not good enough.

We could have played all night and not scored. Slow sluggish performance with no urgency. Browns fitter than most of them who were just plodding along.

I was listening on the radio, but according to the radio guys St Mirren created about five chances in the first half, doesn't sound like they parked the bus, sounds more like we underestimated them, and they recaptured the team spirit and togetherness they had last year in the championship and that Stubbsy had did his best to dismantle, for what ever reason, by making too many signings and disrupting the whole team.

Listening on the radio will always give you a balanced opinion of what is happening, every time St Mirren crossed the half way line, the commentator got totally excited and was unable to get words out of his mouth .
Pls try not to insult the intelligence of decent people by reporting what main stream Scottish media say about us and our game . The 5 chances may have existed in their mind but Gordon wasn't particularly busy, so they must have reported long range shots that flew high over the bar or away past post.

Terrible perfomance tonight even before ntcham stupidly got sent off. apart from brown most players nowhere near the form they have been at last couple of years.

Poor Ntcham is now finding out how supportive the Celtic supporters are . He had a stinker and in my opinion couldn't get into the game and couldn't play his normal game . He tried harder and harder and was all over the pitch and no doubt angry with himself . We are not exactly blessed with 20 year old midfielders who can control most games . He lost it, on Friday night but will no doubt be an even better player as a result, if we get behind him and show we appreciate him .

Shocking performance- I can't understand how Mcgregor wasn't subbed done nothing. So bloody slow in our movement. Great start to the weekend.

Mulumbu should have played instead of Rogic.

Ntcham never looked interested! Is it a coincidence he has been away with the French under 21's? Is his attitude mirror of dembele's? Set the price n move him in January 😠.

Tim, a fiver on Dortmund, Birmingham and Celtic returns 30 tonight via willy hill, seems guaranteed lol.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

14 Sep 2018 18:31:23
@Brendan no bets are guaranteed, as I have found to my cost.
Birmingham to me is risky, too inconsistent, but I hope your bet comes in.
My bet tonight is PSG -2/ 1
penalty 5/ 2 (PSG game)
My Tim "paranoid" senses tell me to beware a referee "backlash" ie Brown (or any Celtic player) ordered off
you heard it here first.

Spot-on Tim - although Ntcham gave baby Dallas little choice, the wee rat put in some shift of honest mistakes, blind eyes and down right cheating. It's like the original 9-in-a-row run near the end when the establishment tried every trick in the book plus a league reconstruction to disrupt and hinder.

It seems that the SFA's explanation of why they downgraded the Morelos red card at Pitodrie to a yellow has mysteriously vanished from their website. Someone of a paranoid disposition might be inclined to think that they made a Roger Hunt of it and now they need to change their story to avoid a challenge to their decision although I'm sure there's probably a much less sinister reason.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

14 Sep 2018 15:31:51
@COYBIG as usual they will be covering their @rses.
I read online this, I was going to say "unbelievable" fact, but it is TOTALLY believable.
Apparently there is a big market of ex Scottish referees on the after dinner speech circuit who make a nice living thank you very much, openly boasting and revelling in the fact, how many decisions they gave against Celtic.

I can verify that Tim; I have heard this from several sources and my own son attended an event where Kenny Clarke was particularly vocal.

Don't really see the point coybig he doesn't want to play anywhere else plus we'll renew it in 2-3 years anyway. He'll play for us till he's 30 odds then go back to hibs in his twilight.

15 Sep 2018 11:47:07
I was joking Steph, I know he’s going nowhere. What I’d give for a few more like him though.

Ed what happened with the Scott Alan situation? Surprised they didn't let him terminate his contract to join Hibs.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - I think the McGinn fiasco put paid to Lawwell doing Hibs any favours.}

14 Sep 2018 17:56:10
And so it should ed007.

{Ed007's Note - Lawwell still deserves a swift boot to the stones over it though.}

15 Sep 2018 00:31:31
We all thought he would sign for us either that window or the next **** it we'll move on.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Sep 2018 12:57:46
Hibs valued too high, we bid too low. It was a difference of 500k. Pathetic. I lay that at PLs door. Did we offer SA as part of the deal? I didn't hear it. We wanted clean cash from hibs. In think they wanted the same. The fact we moved that late in the window for him makes me think he wasn't the first pick cm we had in mind?

I've got no allegiances to Scott allan but the lad has been messed about imo. Bought as a bragging right. Few loans. Found a club. Decent season. Then the political side has done him. The only club that wanted him was hibs, vice versa. I'm unaware of dark ins and outs but the lad has wasted a few years.
