Hi guys don't post much but after Wednesday as far as the league goes that should be that. We are on fire just now and hopefully take it to the next Europa tie. Who knows we might do something special. Just a thought.

Their owners have far deeper pockets than Uefa. Watch it go through the courts. 2 year ban given so that it is reduced to one year on appeal via courts.

Do you think Lennon would take the players off the park if any bile emanates from the stands in the next derby game?

Considering the amount of sectarian abuse, personal insults and physical assaults he has suffered over the years I think he has a very thick skin and the players have seen it all before as well. Not for a minute saying it's acceptable, but unless there was any threat to players safety, I think he would try and use it as motivation.
Incidentally, Celtic have tolerated this for over a century - especially in certain away grounds - with little or no protection or repercussions from any authorities; however there seems to be an eagle-eyed investigator focusing on all things Morelos these days?

For Sunday I would change the formation to 4-3-3

Forster (GK)

Ajer (RB)
Jullien (CH)
Jozo (CH)
Taylor (LB)

Ntcham (CM)
Brown (CM)
McGregor (CM)

Elyounoussi (LW)
Eddy (CF)
Forrest (RW)

I would go back to the original 4-2-3-1 formation but with the same players ice man.
Ajar will play right back with one eye on Copenhagen away.
We have always played well at Pittodrie with the 4-2-3-1 and I don’t see why we should risk getting caught out down the wings with the 3-5-2.
If we need to change to 2 up top then we can bring off Elyounoussi and bring on Griffiths.

The great thing in our favour is the players available for selection but the way we played and the form we are in; I think NL will start with the same 11 as Wednesday and take the game to them.
If we need to switch, we have plenty of options now that most of the squad is fit and itching to be a part of this great run.

Why change the shape when we are winning games comfortably? Ajer is not a RB for me especially against decent opposition.

14 Feb 2020 15:13:08
Not sure about switching it up think Eddie and Griff are starting to build a good partnership/ understanding and would like to keep it going also think the 2 of them are bringing the best out in ntcham we can always change it during the match if need be but would start off with the 3-5-2.

14 Feb 2020 15:13:35
Change it? Why would we change it? We are skelping teams all over the park, scoring a barrel load and hardly losing a goal!
If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Exactly what I was going to say kev, changing a formation that works is daft. Stick to our guns and we'll put a few past them. 4-1.

I'm with Kev, we are on fire. Changing anything would be madness.

No point in changing it, in actual fact it puts them in a position to change their game to try and nullify us.
Their defence looked slow the other night, let’s get at them I say . I don’t think it will be an easy game by any means but we should be confident in getting the points .

The manager has hinted about changing it away from home in Europe. Sunday would be an ideal chance to play the team he has in mind for Thursday. It wouldn’t be fair on Ajar to throw him in at right back for the first time in months in Copenhagen. Why change the formation that has been successful against Aberdeen. They have not laid a glove on us for years and I don’t feel comfortable letting them come on to us at home with 3 at the back. Why risk it when we have a formation Aberdeen can’t deal with in the 4-2-3-1.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Feb 2020 16:55:19
Playing away from home in Europe is a totally different prospect to playing Aberdeen away. We need to win every league game. We do that by going at their throat like we have been doing since the break.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Feb 2020 17:18:23
why on earth would we change it? we're on the best run of form we've been on in years!

Is Bauer not in the Europa squad for the last 32 or injured or something? Would rather play him at RB over Ajer thought he had a decent game against Hearts.

Ice man we never play a 433 so why would you change it? 352 all day and of we have to shut up shop it's 4231👍.

14 Feb 2020 19:57:58
I agree with the others. Many have spared Lenny in the past for his tactics failing and yet when we smash teams using a new formation people want to change it, madness. Buzz, if Aberdeen can't handle us playing a 4231 then what chance have they got with the 352 considering we're playing much better football.

4-3-3 is a ridiculous suggestion, how would we win midfield battles?

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Feb 2020 12:10:23
Is that a genuine question Philtim. 3 central midfielders with two wide men who can drop back when defending. Do you not know how football works?

Agree1 Disagree0

15 Feb 2020 14:39:06
Ice Man what a silly response. Look what's happening to sevco just now, any team that floods midfield they are done. Yeah 4-3-3 really works.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Feb 2020 15:46:02
And look what they did to us the last two times we’ve played against them with that formation philtim. You asked how would we win midfield battles. 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1 are very similar formations. All it is, is the number 10 position dropping deeper into the midfield.

Heart goes out to him as he has been so unlucky and has missed so much time due to injuries. Saw him a while ago on Celtic TV joking with Ntcham and Eddy and he seemed a very affable bhoy. Get well soon.
